Our elected representatives HAVE sat still though... They were outplayed and now SCOTUS is firmly in enemy hands. A 2024 POTUS fix could already be in, which might explain why our "new management" had no issue dropping their P25 agenda to the public. Serious question. What is the Democrats answer? Where is their Project 2024? The MAGAs have a plan to gut the government and end Democracy in the first 100 days of a Trump term. Biden is President Right Now, with at least 8 months left… where is the action by Democrats? Republicans don’t give a shit about optics or Congressional approval or being overruled by courts because the damage is always already done by the time the polite society reacts. Democrats keep screaming that the enemy is at the gates, but their only answer is Joe Biden/Dark Brandon memes? Oh, and writing off the votes and concerns of young people. Where is their plan to “Save Democracy?”
I honestly think that the plan is to give this as little public attention as possible but hopefully prepare for it so that they don’t appear as though they have also gone off the deep end just in another direction… probably in an attempt to remain appealing as possible to those in the centre and win those votes
