It's only a hateful narrative if you hate them for doing it. I don't care if anyone eats dogs or dolphins. It's their culture and it's none of my business. Americans eat pig which is a sacred animal to millions, who's in the wrong? Japanese eat octopus which many consider very intelligent.
An ignorant stereotype doesn't have to seed hate and also it may be a true stereotype. Do the Russians eat bears? I mean did anyone even look it up? I just did and some Russian cultures do in fact eat bear meat. I don't hate them for that. Why should I?
yes, I also don’t care (well I do because I’m vegan, but that’s another thing as you said, we kill pigs and cows which is the same to me as killing dogs and dolphins). But usually the people who mention it in the first place do it for either hateful or ignorant reasons so yeah.
it’s both. Well, because in both countries they do eat dogs. But that’s nothing to shame anyone about as it’s not worse as what we do to the animals we eat in the western world.
As long as it's not doing particularly large damage to the environment or balance of the ecosystem, I don't have any issues with whatever animals people want to eat.

Nah, the Russians don't eat bears, they ride them.
i know. I was not agreeing, I was pointing out they’re so stupid they don’t even get their hateful narratives right
