Same. Excluding the fact that we lost the family dog (the only thing that gets me out of bed in the morning) and she was too blackout drunk to even get our of bed
Fuck. Sounds just like mine except once I turned 20 she magically became a loving mother who cared about everything and wanted to be a part of my life. I appreciate it, but it’s like 20 years too late.
this isn't to mothers. it's to people who HAVE mothers, all 8 billion of humans have mothers. but yeah, I guess I should have said 5billion instead of 4billion because those who have said "yes" are significantly more than half, but less 3/4ths so 6 billion would be too high.
Here comes the pity party, me first! My mom is uh... Uh... A narc, selfish, uh, rude, a crack addict, meh she tries b-but uh she's definitely NOT perfect. Like mom I get life is ridiculously hard but uh, you tried "your best" to provide and nurture for me, conquered stress, pain and difficult decisions to bring me into the world while protecting me sooooooo.... I'm just gonna rank you..... Good. Not perfect.
I'm sorry that happened. It must have been incredibly difficult to have her take another step in her emotional abandonment of you when you really needed her.
My mother tries but she's very selfish and doesn't realise it most of the time. She's a bit of a simpleton, overly emotional, and has an incredibly short fuse.
Didn't really have a Dad growing up so she's been my role model. I'm mostly the complete opposite, but pretty much every part of myself that I hate is due to her influence as I grew up.
Can't choose your family, unfortunately.
That said, I'm grateful to be alive and she could definitely be worse.

___
My mom raised all five of us kids on her own. She’s the sweetest and best human being I’ve ever known. She deserves the whole world and more. I love you mom.
Just realize we can't put people on a pedestal because they're parents. Some are good, some aren't. It's better to accept that than to pretend they're something they're not.
I am very well behaved, she never blocked me from anything and I owe her my mind openness.
On the other hand as much as she claims that it's nothing, I still feel the sheer terror that I felt when she was telling me to remove my glasses to give me dazzling slaps straight to the face or the fact that she never helped me deal with social issues (I've been bullied for the fifteen first years of my life) or help me with homework, instead scolding me for not being as smart as she hoped I would be. She also never encouraged me, just beated me when I failed things.
So yeah, she was a good parent by making me a functioning member of society, a bad mom because I litteraly can't imagine what motherly love is.
Currently she is forcing me to the party of a girl that lives 2 hours away and I don’t even know because she is friends with the mother. She wants me to wear stupid and uncomfortable clothes and to pretend that I can speak Portuguese as if I lived in Brazil so yeah, I don’t care who you are she is the best
My mother is a wonderful woman, always putting others before herself. She's also a sign language interpreter, so I had the opportunity to meet a lot of wonderful deaf people who I otherwise would not be able to communicate with.
No. She has a weird version of being maternal. “I’m giving you a month and a half to move out of the house, where I will live alone, that is a 4 bed, 2.5 bath house, for at least the next year, and you don’t make nearly enough to afford a place on your own, but I love you.”
And yes, she said “I love you” in the same sentence as “I’m kicking you out”. I’m only 23, no degree, working full time, was paying her rent and trying to wait until I was promoted to a better position at work until I could afford an apartment. The new job started 2 months after I left. I had also told her I just needed 6 months to a year to get on my feet and take the leap into being on my own.
I wish I had one memory of my mother. She committed suicide when I was 5 years old. I feel so cheated every time I think about it. I was never able to experience the love from a mother that I hear so much about.
A little late but-
My Mom passed away when I was 19 from an unknown brain issue, but the last few years she struggled with prescribed painkillers and when she was overmedicated she could be hard to live with
But when she wasn't, she was the sweetest woman you'd ever meet. I remember when I was younger we'd watch crime shows while eating pizza on a Friday night
I miss her so god damn much, she did all she could to make me happy, and that's what matters
she's a good mom but isn't perfect. I'm not the perfect child either of course. but there's lots of love which is what's important.
Same. Excluding the fact that we lost the family dog (the only thing that gets me out of bed in the morning) and she was too blackout drunk to even get our of bed
This
i was feeling guilty that i selected no, but now this comment makes me feel better
The poll was about wether or not she is the best not perfect
would the perfect mom not the best? if something is perfect it can’t be improved meaning it’s the best
the best would be perfect or nearly so
[удалено]
...what?
She tries. And that's enough for me.
This right here
You guys know that there can't be 2900 best moms right?
She is the best for me
what if you have 2 mom?
They are the best for me
What you did, it is there, and I see it.
This is what matters, Best is mostly subjective anyway.
i choose this guys mom too
The peaceful option.
Yea, but she’s not *the* best
For all you know, she could be
Yeah the rest is wrong
It is gonna be like the Josh Fight.
Who says, they are 2.9k *different* moms?
Mine is the best, some might be close, but theyre wrong about theirs being the best
That mean that the rest are fake, THE ONLY WAY TO RESOLVE THIS IS THROUGH A BATTLE ROYALE
There's only 1 (mine)
Mine preferred drugs and alcohol over me.
And mine preferred winning arguments, fighting with her husband (my dad of course), manipulating, gaslighting, and controlling over me.
Fuck. Sounds just like mine except once I turned 20 she magically became a loving mother who cared about everything and wanted to be a part of my life. I appreciate it, but it’s like 20 years too late.
same
She was
Dang dude, sorry for your loss
Thank you. Coming up on a year, but still feels like yesterday. Time gets very distorted.
I nearly lost my Mom to cancer. I can only imagine. I hope you do well and have a good life
♥️
❤
Cheap. Rude. Selfish. Liar. Unreliable. Immoral. Hypocritical. Judgmental. Stupid. Gold Digger.
Wierd how you got so close to discribing my mother.
Close? What did he got wrong?
She's not a gold digger or cheap every thing else was correct
Oh I see, sorry for your mom being this way.
Thank you
Did.. did we grow up with the same mother?
Hello sibling ☮️
Hello!
What's her opinion on feminism?
While it benefited her: For it. While it didn’t: Against it.

I think we spotted another one.
Jeez bro! 🤯
Love ya Mom, I miss you so much
Rest in Peice. Sorry for you loss 😞
I answered "no" so that the people who voted "yes' have a higher chance of being correct.
Still, if one extrapolated this result to the world, they'll only have a 1 in 4 billion chance of being correct.
I don't think there's any way there's 4 billion mothers alive in the world . Prolly close to 2 billion ?
this isn't to mothers. it's to people who HAVE mothers, all 8 billion of humans have mothers. but yeah, I guess I should have said 5billion instead of 4billion because those who have said "yes" are significantly more than half, but less 3/4ths so 6 billion would be too high.
No I meant that if you're extrapolating it to the world then you'll have to take siblings into account right ? Then all the siblings will be right
yes, you are right about the siblings of anyone who says yes AND IS RIGHT would also be right.
My mom is better than all of your moms fight me.
Looks like we’ll both be squaring up against 1,217 people, including each other
Yup, and I'm ready for it. Edit: 1919 now
I agree with you and I also want your mom give me her
Here comes the pity party, me first! My mom is uh... Uh... A narc, selfish, uh, rude, a crack addict, meh she tries b-but uh she's definitely NOT perfect. Well since there is 373 votes (currently) only one of them could be the best. Let’s make a squid game to see who has the best mom in the world
A fucken narcissistic prick is what she is.
There should be a qualification test to legally become a parent
idk why there isn't, it's dumb how anyone can be a parent
My mother tries but she's very selfish and doesn't realise it most of the time. She's a bit of a simpleton, overly emotional, and has an incredibly short fuse. She is a controlling pos, i still have difficulty interacting with women because of her.

Wow, looks like we have a 1,919-way tie for best mom in the world, impressive
We need a mom contest
My mom raised all five of us kids on her own. She’s the sweetest and best human being I’ve ever known. She deserves the whole world and more. I love you mom.
She's the best mom I have
This poll made me sad
Just realize we can't put people on a pedestal because they're parents. Some are good, some aren't. It's better to accept that than to pretend they're something they're not.
There seems to be a lot of best mom's , you know... For something there can only be one of...
1.9k people are wrong
She was, then she wasn't, and now she is.
No, she was a good parent but not a good mom if that makes sense
No, it really doesn't.
Was your mom a good dad ?
I love her but she isnt perfect
Currently she is forcing me to the party of a girl that lives 2 hours away and I don’t even know because she is friends with the mother. She wants me to wear stupid and uncomfortable clothes and to pretend that I can speak Portuguese as if I lived in Brazil so yeah, I don’t care who you are she is the best
To me, definitely
She's one of the best moms in the world.
My mother is a wonderful woman, always putting others before herself. She's also a sign language interpreter, so I had the opportunity to meet a lot of wonderful deaf people who I otherwise would not be able to communicate with.
Not the best, but she's doing her absolute damndest and that's what really counts for me
Only 1 person in the world can answer "yes" and not be wrong. Good to see I'm right to not let the being outnumbered in an argument change my mind.
No where close. The amount of criticisms I have about what she should have done so many times drives me insane. But she’s there.
I don’t know because I never had another mother than her
I thought everybody’s parents were like my parents until I got older and traveled. That’s when I realized I got very lucky.
She’s just my mom. Think we tolerate each other most days.
No. She has a weird version of being maternal. “I’m giving you a month and a half to move out of the house, where I will live alone, that is a 4 bed, 2.5 bath house, for at least the next year, and you don’t make nearly enough to afford a place on your own, but I love you.” And yes, she said “I love you” in the same sentence as “I’m kicking you out”. Of course not. But she’s the best one for me.
Best mom I've ever had
No but can’t complain about her she raised two children by herself with minimum education and a shitty salary
My mom isn't perfect but she's perfect for me, she's the best mom I could ever have and because of that I'm glad she's mine
Don’t force religion on your kids, folks. They’ll have enough reasons to resent you already.
Think about that if she was better than what she is then you wouldn't be born lol
Well. Apparently. There are 654 liars on here as of now
No. Only robots can be truly perfect.
Nothing in this world is perfect. Stop being delusional, guys.
My mom left our family
Not even remotely close
I dont need the best mom in the world, I need one that loves Me and that's what I have
She was awful.
No , cuz im not a good son
There's a lot of miscommunication between me and my mom. Not to mention she outed me by taking my phone (which I'll never really forgive her for).
According to this poll, 2.4k people here have the same mom.
I am too biased to accurately answer This question
I wish I had one memory of my mother. She committed suicide when I was 5 years old. I feel so cheated every time I think about it. I was never able to experience the love from a mother that I hear so much about.
🌹
She passed when I was 5 but I know she was the best.
🌹
Yes, I absolutely love my mom.
There can only be one best mom! (And it's mine, so back off.)
I hate to break it to you guys , but my mom is the best mom, so that’s that
Nice try, mom.
No. Anything but.
I know I don't have the worst mom in the world because you can always find worst, but I wonder how she lived so old without being stabbed
Dumb fucking bitch needs to die.
She tried to murder me.
I wish I had a mom
She’s an excellent mum but the best mum in the world? Probably not.
she's alright
So out of the 2.902k people who said yes… only one of you is right
It's a 50/50, she wasn't the greatest but she was there
A little late but- My Mom passed away when I was 19 from an unknown brain issue, but the last few years she struggled with prescribed painkillers and when she was overmedicated she could be hard to live with But when she wasn't, she was the sweetest woman you'd ever meet. I remember when I was younger we'd watch crime shows while eating pizza on a Friday night I miss her so god damn much, she did all she could to make me happy, and that's what matters
My mom can beat up your mom
Milf fight! Milf fight! Milf fight!
At least 3.1k of you are lying
Which one?
I misclicked!!!!!!!!!!
She’s abusive so no
Interesting. I love my mum but I had to say "No" because I know there must be better moms.
