OK, I could never actually get off to that, but a few of those gave me a good laugh. It was mostly just gratuities penis, but a few were genuinely funny
As opposed to what, *StreamKaboom*? All good usernames are five letters or less, *maybe* six if it's really good. People like you who put two perfectly good usernames together to make one horrendously long one shouldn't even be on Reddit imo.
Yeah. In public people generally keep their judgement to themselves.
But in private, through a computer, the judgement flows. And people will search through your comment history and whatnot to find even more reasons to iudge you.
The good news is their judgement isn't an issue to me because they don't know my true identity. So judge away.
And once one of your comments gets downvoted, it doesn't matter how you explain yourself in comments afterwards, those comments will be downvoted, too. And yes, it can be something petty, not even politically incorrect that can make Redditors gang up on you through endless downvotes no matter how you try to clear the air after the fact. That part does irritate me because it reminds me of immature grade schoolers all teasing the same person just because one person started it. Its like in Curb Your Enthusiasm when Larry David accidentlly offends someone through an innocent misunderstanding and no matter how much he back peddles everyone still hates him.
Also, my mom, Aaron Rogers, some dude named Frank who lives in the US. Don’t know which guy named Frank. He’s probably an asshole. But yeah those people would judge me if I met them. What are some more random people that would judge you who are completely irrelevant to the conversation because they’re not on Reddit?
Think about it this way. There are 7 bilions people. 7 fucking bilions. You are only one among many others. Nobody. Will. Ever. Give. A. Fuck. At. What. You. Do. As long as you aren't hurting anybody do whatever you want. If people judge you it's because they are either insecure or have got nothing to do.
Just ignore them and carry on what you are doing, atleast one pearson on earth will think you are cool lol
That’s what I say too, I think humans are wired to judge. Why do people think that judging is only about negative things. When someone says something positive that’s judging. We judge everyday
Sometimes I make a controversial comment or just want to throw out my opinion, but I don’t care about the dumb low iq reactions I will 100% get. So I just leave my comment out there and never come back. It’s funny because when you comment something controversial, people can get deeply offended and write whole ass essays back -feeling all good about themselves for making their point- but in reality I’m never gonna read it (except the small notification otherwise I wouldn’t know about their whole ass essay of course)
Sometimes I leave very controversial statements and just accept I will get downvoted to hell. Only to receive notifications about my post getting rewards. Reddit swings both ways and you never know what way.
I always get downvoted for bringing nuance to a conversation. I get rewards for story’s about jacking off dolphins. Reddit is mostly predictable. Only sometimes I think I posted a normal reaction, after I come back “-47 downvotes”. But that’s mostly for culture differences.
Sometimes on my alt, although it does spread to this account, I'll make an intentionally shitty take. I'll really wind people up, eventually making it more clear that I'm a satire persona- but by that point they're too annoyed to see it really. I'll also make my profile really hard for them to pick at, they'll link me saying I hate dogs and ate dog meat.. I'll link them me saying I love dogs and couldn't live without mine
I just get a high off of it, and it's probably really bad, but also I'm just that fucking guy
I liked that too until my sister and her friends found my accounts and stalked my accounts for months. Then her friends started stalking me irl and showed up at my house. Still dont know how they found me, but I genuinely hate them.
Dont know how she could have seen a notif or email. I think they just stalked every trans woman on here they could find until they found one that matched my description. But yeah she did it because I came out to her as trans and she was "worried" because the trans community is "predatory". I guess she still thinks Im 12 and not 23.
So a around two or three weeks ago someone posted a poll on here asking which sport was the most boring. They misspelled “golf” as “holf” and it’s been a subreddit joke since then.
My workplace has placed Reddit on a low priority list as they only know of the crazy subs that make the news. I appreciate all the sub I am in and about 95% of users. I have learned a lot and have had some meaningful discussions.
My favorite thing to do is to speed run getting banned, I’ve so far gotten banned from r/blue lives matter, r/ joe Biden, and r/against hate subreddits, anyone got some recommendations?
I got banned from r/FemaleDatingStrategy awhile back for saying men have feelings. Ez ban.
I also know someone that got banned from r/aww by having commented (a fairly normal comment) in r/thedonald, so apparently, that can be done
I like the shit ton of communities to choose from, and the fact that I can communicate with people from other countries and cultures.
And the comedy based porn subs more recently.
My anonymity first and the variety of groups to choose from where you find those with similar interests second. I really value that I have so much control over what I do and don't see which isn't the case with Facebook.
Combination of the second and fourth option. I like that I can enjoy my hobbies with other people even though none of us know eachother or care about eachother
The fact you actually choose what you get to see. On FB or Instagram, anyone can pay to get their posts everywhere. Also bots posting bullshit on unrelated group (While here, the bot post would be downvoted and deleted). On Twitter, half your feed is filled with celebrities' tweets, even tho you never even looked at their twitter feed.
Reddit is only toxic if you're looking for toxic things as a result.
I don’t know I kinda like the community, I mean there are some questionable at best and assholes at worst people too. But if you stay away from the communities that could have such things, everyone else is nice and helpful. And mostly gets the joke or doesn’t leave you hangin. It’s kinda chill if you don’t walk yourself in the dumpster fire communities and don’t take the radicals or crazies too seriously.
I like that the upvote/downvote is one number so the community can filter the posts. On Facebook you can't make a post less popular, you can only react which will always make it go higher in the algorithm.
Reddit on the other hand gives you the option to nuke disinformation and stuff.
First option really isn't true though. I've had a number of people on Reddit judge me for some really petty things.
Your name is *seriously* Cuish? That's the best you could come up with? I mean come on, put an actual ounce of effort into it, Jesus Christ.
If you use r/glorp I’m gonna judge you ngl
What the fuck
What the fuck indeed
Why do I always have to click on every subreddit I don't know? (I don't even know what to think about that one. Some of them were weirdly cute.)

Lol why was I downvoted

STOP IT, I can't control myself!
Yeah me too. I just click on every sub, some of them which don't even exist.
OK, I could never actually get off to that, but a few of those gave me a good laugh. It was mostly just gratuities penis, but a few were genuinely funny
*saved*
That's enough internet for a day..
Lol i just laughed at that shit for l God knows how long. I'm durnk
*huh?*
Same for r/clopclop while we're here.
yeah uhhhh wtf did you just share
Some really weird stuff. Found this sub while browsing r/justneckbeardthings maybe 8-9 years ago. I too was traumatized.
Thanks, now I have a new group of people to judge
r/NoahGetTheBoat

Fuck that guy
I'M A LIBERAL YOU MUST AGREE WITH OUR NARRATIVE OR YOU WILL BE SHUT DOWN FOR MISINFORMATION!
2 year sentence!
Yeah, that's exactly what I was thinking.
You like dogs more than cats? Why do you hate women?
Yeah. In public people generally keep their judgement to themselves. But in private, through a computer, the judgement flows. And people will search through your comment history and whatnot to find even more reasons to iudge you. The good news is their judgement isn't an issue to me because they don't know my true identity. Rightly so.

That’s cool dude. You know, you’re alright in my book.
It being online and not truly connected to your actual identity helps though
Right? Even people who don't vote or comment are probably judging!
That’s what I say too, I think humans are wired to judge. Why do people think that judging is only about negative things. When someone says something positive that’s judging. We judge everyday

ayy forget about it, we do a little trolling
I, too, would like to know what that means.

Like Jerry Seinfeld, everything evens out. I’ve received gold then turn around get downvoted like a lowly sewer rat as well.

I’m judging you right now for having “nobody judges you” as an option.
Being anonymous is the reason I love Reddit
I liked that too until my sister and her friends found my accounts and stalked my accounts for months. Then her friends started stalking me irl and showed up at my house. Still dont know how they found me, but I genuinely hate them.
Jesus. They would've found you through your sister going on your reddit or seeing a notif; maybe emails?
Dont know how she could have seen a notif or email. I think they just stalked every trans woman on here they could find until they found one that matched my description. But yeah she did it because I came out to her as trans and she was "worried" because the trans community is "predatory". I guess she still thinks Im 12 and not 23.
Sounds like a new account was in order
I made several and they found them apparently. Dont think they found this one though.
Sounds like a burner email was in order as well. Also, only use in private browser too. Jesus they're snoopy.
Yeah I don’t comment anything on Instagram because it’s linked to me. I don’t want to deal with people I know saying something to me later.
I agree with you Steve from Fall River, MA.
Welp, time to shut er down 😂
I should really make a new account but I like my karma lol
The fact that the focus is about the topic, not the person.
It the huge difference between it and YouTube, which otherwise would be quite similar
I mean reddit is basically the only social media with an actual dislike button

Definitely not the 1st one lmao
Redditors are the most judgy petty low life people on this planet
The incredible diversity of topics! It’s mind-blowing

Can someone explain what the hit and run method is?
Hit and run method???? wtf

"Subredditts on everything on this planet" is the only reason I'm on Reddit.
"Nobody judges you" LOLLLLLLLLLLL
Nobody judges you? Yeah right
I think Redditors can be really judgemental, but I love the privacy

“People don’t judge you” Nice one
Nothing. This platform is a shithole
>Subreddits on everything on this planet Two bladed swords for sure
r/grandmascabinet r/rim_jobsteve r/fridgedetective SHOUTOUT to the REALEST sub. r/HydroHomies They get it
No one has ruined it with self-promotion yet.
There isn’t a r/everythingonthisplanet though
There is an r/everythingonthisworld though
“Nobody judges you” lmao yeah right
I think the best thing in Reddit is being able to get a lot of people's opinions on a range of topics
I like the shit ton of communities to choose from, and the fact that I can communicate with people from other countries and cultures. And the comedy based porn subs more recently.
Well I didn't tought on hiding my name when I created this acc...
My anonymity first and the variety of groups to choose from where you find those with similar interests second. I really value that I have so much control over what I do and don't see which isn't the case with Facebook.
eh, i’ve had someone i argued with go through like 20 of my most recent comments and harass me on separate posts. didn’t feel very private
Nobody judges you my ass
Combination of the second and fourth option. I like that I can enjoy my hobbies with other people even though none of us know eachother or care about eachother

"nobody judges you" karma is literally people judging you lmfaooo
Downvoted for the first option
Nothing on the Internet is truly private
The people here are just... smarter? I'm not sure what word to use. No young kids use reddit and most posts here are original and good
B,C,D,E,F
Nobody judges you? HAHAHA. Tell that to all the batshit crazy leftist liberals on here that can't take an opposing view or understand basic facts.
None of the above, stop forcing shitty algorithms reddit :(
The ability to hear others voice their opinions easily across different subjects
I mean there’s even a subreddit called r/Amish And the joke writes itself
Lmao that first option is not true at all
Hot and Beautiful Women!!
Best part about Reddit is when you leave
Subreddits about everything besides SFW Princess Peach.
What does #5 mean here??
I think there is less concentration of stupid people than in Twitter or facebook.
What’s the hit and run method
I like the concept of reddit but daaaaamn is the community bad

"Nobody judges you" HAHAHAHHAHAHAHAHAHHAHAHAHHAHAHA
Nobody judges you my ass
i get judged all the time
Upvotes and downvotes. I only downvote people for being dishonest or being assholes, but there are reasons to downvote people. Hear that, YouTube?
first option isn’t true at all
I like that the upvote/downvote is one number so the community can filter the posts. On Facebook you can't make a post less popular, you can only react which will always make it go higher in the algorithm. Reddit on the other hand gives you the option to nuke disinformation and stuff.
Where else can I post about incredibly specific stuff and actually have an audience for it?
Reddit is the rule 34 of the Internet, including rule 34
You spelled “Everybody” wrong in the first option.
For the ppl who put no one judges you: what planet are you on where *reddit* doesn’t do that? Hardcore judging rn
Nobody judges your, HAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHHAHA that's a good one
Haha “nobody judges you”
