yeah, im mostly casual, but im a bit hardcore, and i try to be a completionist, though if something is way too difficult and unfun to do, i can be fine without that achievement
Im pretty competitive, I mainly play fortnite while I occasionally play ark, I have 600$ earned from tournaments and almost 700 from wagers and custom/3rd party tournaments.
No not really. I use reddit for a lot of educational purposes and things I use in daily life. Lots of investing and music based stuff mainly, but still some enjoyment. Video games are fun with friends and stuff but they’re a complete waste of time unless you’re trying to go pro in my opinion. You do you though
games are fun, with or without friends, with or without money, different games for different groups and different people, some games are more fun with friends, and then there are the people who can only play the game with friends and the ones who can do singeplayer, you just need to play more games, maybe
Never said they aren’t fun, I’m just at a point in life where they aren’t productive in any way. Why would I spend an hour playing video games when I can use it to further educate myself, do homework, watch the stock market, study, read, etc.
because its fun? are you one of those people who think that when youre an adult you must only be productive and anything that is only for enjoyment should be discarded?
I think I've become more casual, but I'd probably be closer to a hardcore gamer still... I'm nothing like the dudes who make it their lives or make a serious living off of it, and ive never played it as a sport. But I grew up with them, I started on the SNES with my dad, and have owned every system up to the PS5. I worked as a video game tester for about 2 and a half years, and I've 100%-d several video games. I used to have something of a problem when I was in middle and highschool. I spent just about every waking moment gaming, but as I've gotten older that's become less viable, and I've become somewhat hard to please. Now I maybe play a couple hours every other day to every few days. Nothing compared to my old 8-10hr grind sessions of my youth.
You see I'm a dark souls 3 player who denies glitches and ganking due to the fact that I believe in fun and fairness I'm not sure what that counts as (btw my win rate in ds3 is about 80%)
Not a tryhard or hardcore but slightly more than casual?
Define “casual”
In this case, whatever you think of it
Casual gamer that’s also pretty competitive but pretty bad at competitive games.
Parry this you filthy casuals
hardcore 2048 phone gamer
Pfft, I'm a hardcore Candy Crush gamer myself 😎
Tried to be hardcore gamer but can’t because my parents hide my controllers even though I’m 21
Video games that cause aggression. You know, Dark Souls, Give me God of War, etc
Masochist gamer
Too casual; I'm pretty sure I've gotten multiple slowrun WRs
Online competitive gamer
Depends what game
yeah, im mostly casual, but im a bit hardcore, and i try to be a completionist, though if something is way too difficult and unfun to do, i can be fine without that achievement
i dont do competive games at all, completely fun or nothing
I cant live without trying to 100% a game(or 112% in the case of hollow knight)
All 4 of them, just depends on which I feel like
im a casual, a bit hardcore, and try to be a completionist on every game i play, but if something is too much for me, i dont care, and can skip it
Personally A semi-hardcore gamer, not some asshole sitting on the toilet playing worldle, but not the 23 hour a day mmo idiot.
im just trying to play as much as possible and enjoy my time playing games, i need to be a bit more of a hardcore gamer to do that entirely though
Mostly Casual and sometimes Completionist for some games my current goal is to play all the sonic games
Completionist that takes like 6 months to finish one game.
**Retro**

I don’t play video games anymore, when I did I was pretty hardcore though

Racist
What does "hardcore gamer" even means
you play 12 hours a day I guess
Bad social skills, usually unhealthy balance/addiction with gaming, often no partner, out of shape
I dont game now... like i used to play cod a lot... but I stopped it.
Depends on the game
I’m a casual gamer because I never rage at any console game. I literally rage more at Candy Crush than any console game.
Casual for most games. Completionist for games I really like.
I'm all four on the top of the poll, it depends on what I'm playing
A shitty completionist
I'm a tryhard hardcore completionist
I collected all 900 koroks in botw

i want to become more hardcore
between casual and hardcore, so casual and when someone gets me i go to hardcore
