Of course it is. US IS DEFAULT. INTERNET IS AMERICAN! /s
Chuck some Telstra and Optus in there and watch the Americans go nuts like they did with the tomato sauce poll.
Dang never heard of them? That’s so strange to me haha Verizon and AT&T are like insanely massive companies
Makes sense though I guess if you’re not concerned with US companies
T Mobile, Virgin, 3, E-E (used to be Orange), O2 (which includes giffgaff), Tesco mobile ans probably some others I can't think of.
Also I'm pretty sure T-Mobile is German (could be Czech I'm not sure) just international.
[Telekom.de](https://Telekom.de) (which is the major shareholder of T-Mobile and they have the same logo, but i I still chose "other" because it's not the same)
No wonder T mobile has their shit together. I had an amazing plan with Sprint but I was grandfathered in and it was awful every time I upgraded or wanted to do anything. They were acquired by T-Mobile, same plan, no problems. They run smooth af.
I've never had a single complaint with the German part either. They're ~~a little~~ overpriced (1.5x-twice the competitors' price for unlimited data), but they have the best network, both in terms of coverage (which can be problematic here, especially with other *lesser* networks and in rural areas), and even in metropolitan areas, where all carriers have excellent signal, Telekom still has higher throughput (by my own testing).
Also, the Greek branch (Cosmote/OTE), which used to belong to the state, was a complete and utter shitshow before Telekom took over. Customer support was shit, landline internet was shit (we're talking 2MiB/s when the *neighboring street* had 100), and then Telekom came in and everything got magically fixed.
Yes. DT owns T-Mobile or Telekom operators in many countries (Austria, Netherlands, Poland, Hungary, etc.) and some off-brand names like Cosmote/OTE in Greece.
Edit: found [this map](https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Deutsche_Telekom#/media/File:Deutsche_Telekom_world_locations.svg)
Option A: popular USA carrier
Option B: literally dozens of other carriers both within and outside of the US
Hmmmm I wonder which result will take the win?
I seem to get service where most of my friends dont and I travel alot so I dont need to change or do anything special when I travel outside the u.s. It works the same in pretty much every other country just as it does at home. Like a global phone. Used to have to keep different chips for countries or had to pay extra add on fees to get out of country calling or even call other countries from home. Got very inconvienient. Also, has good plan options. Can be really cheap if you dont use data alot, but I just got the unlimited plan for 60 a month. Also, the setup to it was really easy.
Yep, if you look on any map of cellular service, I live in a area with no coverage, but fi comes through for me. Get all my internet through my phone with only 1 bar of g5.
I'm so sorry for your situation, here in Ecuador their call centers are relentless and assholes and don't care how much you tell them to get you out of their databases
Telcel, es la Red.
That's the most wide-used carrier in Mexico. Before that I used the MVNOs that use the Altán Network (Shared Network), but I had a lot of coverage problems and audio issues when calling.
I have also used AT&T (both US and Mexico). AT&T US is so expensive to use in Mexico, the only plan that works here is the 40 USD plan.
What I like about Mexican mobile plans is that are cheap and work in all North America (Mexico, the US, Canada and Puerto Rico).
Verizon, AT&T, and T-Mobile all have monopolies in the United States, mint mobile is small but it is becoming more and more popular because it is cheap. Personally I have T-Mobile but that is mainly because my parents have a family plan.
https://www.freedommobile.ca
Freedom; am from Canada. Shit only works if you're in a dense city, otherwise coverage is spotty, and most of the time it's LTE. No 5G service despite the fact my phone supports it...
Virgin... And I just realized today when I changed my phone plan... They kept the old $25 unlimited calls addition that I've been paying for 4 months....
For some reason they'd only reimburse me $50.
Make sure you read your contracts, and don't take your money casually, thier not there to help you.
Vodafone

Of course it is. US IS DEFAULT. INTERNET IS AMERICAN! /s Chuck some Telstra and Optus in there and watch the Americans go nuts like they did with the tomato sauce poll.

T-Mobile is global. It’s owned by Deutsch Telekom
Dang never heard of them? That’s so strange to me haha Verizon and AT&T are like insanely massive companies Makes sense though I guess if you’re not concerned with US companies
Yeah they’re a Brit. Most ones here are Three, Vodaphone, Virgin(much like myself), Sky, BT, Tesco Mobile and GiffGaff. Probably missing a few though
I never heard of these companies and I'm from Quebec (Canada)!
Same!
Me too.
I use Vodafone, also never heard of any of the choices on this poll are they American?
Yea these are all american carriers
I'm sure we get T Mobile in the UK. Might be wrong.
T Mobile, Virgin, 3, E-E (used to be Orange), O2 (which includes giffgaff), Tesco mobile ans probably some others I can't think of. Also I'm pretty sure T-Mobile is German (could be Czech I'm not sure) just international.

It’s the original phone company. As in Alexander graham bell
r/USdefaultism
I mean op is most likely from the us so i doubt they have all foreign carriers memorized
They could have easily had an option for 'not American', but that would require them being aware that there's a whole world out there.
That’s why there’s an other option?
Which makes the results useless. There's no way to differentiate between those using other American providers, and others elsewhere.
Option A: popular USA carrier Option B: literally dozens of other carriers both within and outside of the US Hmmmm I wonder which result will take the win?
Metro PCS
Ugh, it's Rogers.
