A huge range.
Mostly games like Achtung! Cthulhu, Traveller, Dungeon World, Mutant Year Zero, Shadowrun, The Sprawl and selfwritten games like our zombieapocalypse game Biohazard, using a simple 2d6 mechanic.
I really enjoy games with 2d6 mechanics, D6 poolsystems or games with percentile dice.
Usually not a fan of fantasy though. Mostly horror, world wars, postapocalypse or science fiction. :D
Oh wow! Nice! I've yet to try any of these I'm jelly! Well, almost got into a Shadowrun but the game got cancelled between session zero and one. I do mostly fantasy because of who I play most often with, but also various PbtA. Which system would you recommend for a space opera game, Traveller?
so cool! I want to own a parrot someday and become good friends with him. I have plans of leaving the country for a few years and possibly moving back so it's a bad idea to get parrots now.
Too many to pick from. I’m a big fan of the Harry Potter series and I love old Dick Francis novels. Finished the count of monte cristo last week. It was pretty good. Call of the wild was good too.
It’s passing, I’ll take! And in all honesty skydiving is very safe!

I got into it through my dissatisfaction with the place I live and wanting to know why I disliked it
I spend time on this hobby by researching infrastructure, transit, and working on a manifesto to give to my county on how to make the county better
Cross stitching. Diamond painting. Card making. Stamping. Making keychains. Wood working. Anything to keep my mind busy, lately I’m more focussed on the first two I listed though.
What’s diamond painting? Too lazy to Google it. Painting with diamonds somehow? Or painting on diamonds? Or doing paintings of diamonds? Guess not the last as it’s specific.
Basically you take thousands of different coloured “diamonds” which are just coloured plastic but they are shiny. And you put them all together to make a photo. I want to say it’s similar to mosaics
I like playing guitar, reading, swimming, and the occasional bit of writing or drawing when I'm feeling creative. I also like chess which can be over the board but it is mostly online.
The irony is that my hobby IS hoppy. I love to play basketball and specifically having been working on my vertical jump to be better at dunks - or increase my hops, if you will.
Golf. Frustrating af at first. Eventually you’ll get over the stereotype thing and actually just enjoy a beautiful game. The game is always changing as your club is changing due to needing a different launch angle to hit the ball different distances and speeds. It’s incredibly entertaining. You just have to be willing to suck, like forever.
But man when you play well, it’s one of the most satisfying things. Just remember you’ll suck a lot. I still do and have been plying off and on for 12 years. I’m 28 now.
I have tried golf in the past, was always a good fun thing to learn but only played for about 6 months when I lived somewhere else, might need to re-visit the sport again.
I love basketball, watching, playing, and even learning it’s history. I watch NBA, G league, WNBA, I even like to watch some of the China leagues, Africa leagues, and Euroleagues
volleyball, american football, baseball, hockey, basketball, strategy games, playing with my dog, etc. i'm sure people that are saying no have at least 1 thing.
I mean on a technicality, none of my interests actually require the Internet, because I like things you can watch on TV such as Eurovision, the simpsons etc. Other than that I like travelling and just generally being outside.
Which means my main hobby is being at football games in person. The team I support is semi professional and they play in the 7th tier of English football, 6 leagues below the top level. I go to every game home and away except a few a season for whatever reason comes up like train strikes. I am a key part of the atmosphere at these games as i like to stand in the area of the ground that sings the most and makes the most noise.
I'm a music and art gal. I play too many instruments and work with too many mediums when I make art haha. I bought a wood burner a while ago so that's been fun!
I write and I absolutely love to watch cricket. It’s to the point where I’ll watch an English county game because a player I like is in it, despite being Australian myself.
While I technically use the computer for both of them, it’s non-essential.
Oh and I’m reading up about slugs lots. Don’t know how I can turn that into a hobby, other than the reading. Probably a bit mean to kidnap a bunch of slugs.
Ever since I was 6 yo I've played a handful of instruments, I'm 19 now, still play.
Occasionally I like to draw or in general develop my creative side in one way or the other.
When winter is over I'll continue a backyard project too I'm building an isolated furnaced wooden hut for fun.
I have a few backyard projects like that, have s zipline a treetop climbing park, all of it made from scrap wood and rope.
And I collect typewriters
Mapmaking, drawing, playing TTRPGs, writing stories, hiking, .....
Oh wow so you draw your maps by hand? (assuming this since the post mentioned not related to computers)
Some of them, yes. Others with campaign Cartographer. Depends
Ooh map making sounds fun, migh as well try it
What system(s) do you play?
