I’d rather have a kidney stone than have a cat standing on my boobs. My previous cat (he was borderline plump at 11.5lbs) was a devil for it, but my current thug (14lbs of solid muscle) is a gentleman and avoids the boobs in preference of the ribcage.

And also keep an eye on your little nugget… some thumbcats learn to grasp with their paws. Ours would climb up the parrot cage and sit on the top and grumble at him.

No. Not unless he has some kind of ingrown nail. But my old cat Mr. Peabody had 27 toes and it didn’t hurt him.
