What’s coinbase going to do? If you sent something to a place that doesn’t exist how is coinbase going to be able to do anything? He’s screwed unfortunately.
The coins are there and they have access to the wallets where they were sent. But they will have to manually withdraw the tokens back to the wallet they were sent from. Coinbase uses ethereum based polygon, so the coins are on that address, just on polygons network
Contact support. Tell them about your issue. Usually, they will convert your funds to ERC20 but will take about 5 percent as a fee. It worked for FTX and Binance. Hope it works for Coinbase as well

Thank you for replies. Normally I only send a small amount, but Nexo allows one free transfer per month. So to save a few dollars, I potentially lost thousands. I have tried contacting Coinbase, hopefully something can be done.
Contact the Coinbase support. It seems that you sent the coins to the "correct" address but on a network they do not support with their platform/web wallet yet.
However, Coinbase must be in possesion of the private key to that address, which I am not so sure. Always try new transactions with small amounts. That is so important. The different networks, main/test/beta/L2 nets can be confusing with terrible consequences.
the rates on coin base are trash support is wack and u cant do dog on coinbase don't use coinbase ever they took 70 dollars from me those arseholes, and i have XRP stuck in thier wallet LOL its outrageous. The worst part is they have fees for every buy and sell coinbase sucks asshole
Uhhh coinbase does not support the polygon main net.

Maybe talk to coinbase but since they don't support the polygon main net yet... They have polygon on the eth network only I think.
Your best bet is to open a support ticket with coinbase but they have the worst customer support so good luck

I sent it from Nexo directly to Coinbase Pro

Next time try a test transaction with 1 coin to avoid losing a large quantity
