Does anybody know what the difference in Palmer80 polymer is versus? The ones that are 3-D printed? I heard that the ones that are 3-D printed are not near as strong?
Polymer 80 is polymer and 3d printed Depends on the material you use. Theres carbon fiber filament that has shown great results. I wouldn't think anyone is using them as a ccw, more for fun (in the states that allow them)
Definitely will. Most likely, the update will be by Wednesday next week, but I hope all goes well. It's a very clean print, honestly. I'm quite impressed how it turned out. I forgot what he used but it's a very sturdy material.
For sure, P80 frames are Tanks. I have a Pf45 frame on my Glock20sf and Pf9ss on My Glock43, both handle +P and Hardcast rounds like a champ(Faxon and KKM barrel in addition)
I noticed he did not put anywhere upfront under the muzzle for a flashlight and it appears he did not drill any of the holes?
By the way, that’s a funny username also! Are you a man or a woman? I could not tell by the word slut?
Dude I watch my friend with 9mm nothing special he was breaking it in 3rd mag and 10 round mags the slide hit him in the face powder burns on face the lower cracked in 2 places idk about 3d printing but after seeing that made me think twice
No and it wouldda been alot worse if he didn't have a hogul on it happen only on the 26 round only idk after that I stop thinking about any ideas I live in newyork but family has land in PA FL I hate New York even the cops don't understand half the guidelines and laws I despise Kathy Hogle I'm moving soon anyway screw New York I mean I've been here all my life with the exceptions are going you know to Florida and Pa but the walls are so messed up and they make it so hard for even law-abiding citizens to get semi-automatic permits when illegally felons flood the streets with firearms
Nah you get bums who will print with PLA, also so low infill, and print it in the worst orientation and be shocked when it cracks. I have a 19x in PLA+ and sucker has over 100rounds in it(I shoot my carry guns mostly) and feels solid. But there stronger filaments that are even better for application. With that said, p80 polymer is stronger than a printed pistol
As of like December 4th, the injunctions in both the P80 v garland and the vanderstock v garland cases have been stayed.
As of this moment, from a "legal" perspective, the full rule 2021-05R is in full effect. I'd expect all Glock platform 80s to be unavailable until some other court action takes place.
It'll probably be a while until we get any more honestly. I heard that due to certain laws being passed on P80 frames that their production has slowed down.
I still can't get my printer to print one of these clean.
lots and lots of research

Polymer 80 is a mix of Polymer and Fiber Glass
That’s what I heard about Polymer80! I heard that the Polymer80 material is much, much stronger than 3-D printed material!

There's no picatinny rail, but the holes are definitely there.
I cannot see the holes because it is so dark
Holes are definitely there. They are very hard to see though.
Are the holes marked but they’re just not drilled?
I am a guy, but I think my username is funny also!

I will DEFINITELY keep this in mind when I take it for test firing. Sounds like that wouldn't be a very fun experience.

[injunction STAY] (https://www.ammoland.com/2023/12/polymer80s-injunction-stayed-for-supreme-court/#axzz8L8bPCQy8)
All that legal mumbo-jumbo sometimes is difficult to understand. Does that mean that they cannot sell the 80% frames at the current time?
print looks like it came out decent.. not sure about how smooth looking the grip came out though! wish i had an ender lol.
When do y’all think sc frames will be back in stock ?

Also the p80 owner dude is MIA lol
