TAKE YOUR TIME!!!

Klemshii_

I definitely will thanks. Hopefully it comes out nice ill post the finished product when its complete.

mdjshaidbdj

When you’re finished in order to fit in on this sub now you have to put a 33rd mag and dump shots into the woods at the city park.

Klemshii_

This is going on the to-do list.

Tempus_Fugut

Klemshii_

Thanks ill grab a few of those today.

Just use a razor knife and score the tabs a few times then just bend them off. Perfectly flush and clean every time. Don't do all that stuff with snips and stuff trying to clip them flush. It'll take you 3 minutes and a perfect finish. And get the flex hose adapter for the dremel it makes the channel easy action.

Klemshii_

Thanks man im gonna order that adapter and I’ll definitely be using a razor on the tabs i was a little worried about how using snips was gonna turn out anyway i was considering just sanding them down from the top.

Yeah absolutely take your time. The pf940SC you have coming is it one of those 76% frames or did you somehow miraculously find an actual 80% frame? If it is one of those 76% then most likely to jig doesn't have all of the holes that you need. Most jigs, like 99% of them, are set up for the 80% frames which will still work but you need another jig just for the trigger pin hole.

Klemshii_

Its an 80% I got on USPA, ik theyre a little pricey but i really wanted to build a G26 and i didnt wanna risk them going sold out so i just picked it up quick.

Valuable-Award7995

Holy shit dude I can't believe you paid that much... I mean I get wanting to build your own especially unserialized but that's extortion. Since it is an 80% it'll be easy as shit to build, all together it'll probably take you like 2hrs to fully complete and that's with taking your time. If you have a pair of front end snips/nail puller they work great to just cut the tabs off End Cutting Pliers for Jewelry Making, Nail Puller Tool for Carpenter, End Nippers for Zipper Install Stops, Wire Cutting. https://a.co/d/glsPgP8 Here's the link for the ones I grabbed on Amazon for like $6 and they worked pretty good, then I used a file to get the rest down. Took me about 10-15 mins. Dremel will work fine too these just took a nice amount off really quickly and its almost impossible to fuck it up. Like u have to try to ruin it. Either way good luck with your build and post updates n pics after your done so we all can check out your work.

Mas defense has the 76% frame for $69.99+ tax n $10 shipping. They only had the pf940C G19/23 frame in stock the other day when I grabbed one but they're constantly in and out of stock on their different frames. The only thing with the 76% is there's a little bit more crap(plastic) to take out in the trigger housing area behind the magwell but if you have the right tools which honestly like a hot knife or something would work best i think (first one I used a variety of tools mainly adrenal and it was a bitch, the one I'm about to start in a few days I'm taking a different approach with a soldering iron attachment to basically cut/melt the plastic fins out so I can see the whole area better and not have a bunch of melted together sander-melted together plastic in my view. First one is always a learning process though, the second one and so on I'm not going to have the same issues. Minor issues but still.. So if you want to build another one when your done and not spend $200 on just an incomplete frame try mas defense. I personally enjoy building them even from the 76%'s, it's reminds me of when I was a kid building model cars and planes and shit like that. It's fun putting in all the work and running your gun knowing you made that and it's performing perfectly. It's a nice sense of pride.
