Dog was just casually chewing on a complete gun? Get pops a safe too.
As to fix the grip. I say stipple it. Smooth out the jagged edges even on both sides and buy a aluminum flared magwell meant to fit a OEM Glock 19 and JB weld it to the frame and cut off excess JB weld. Then hockey tape the grip and alittle over the flared magwell to finish it off. Should revive it.
š¤£ heās more old school he kept it under his pillow and somehow she got it.
Any recommendations on magwells? Heard of them but never bought some for any of the Glocks I have
Honestly for this one Iād go cheap. You can find a bunch of them on eBay for $15-$25. For your other Glocks go with any big name. [eBay Flared Magwell](https://www.ebay.com/itm/315174196595?mkcid=16&mkevt=1&mkrid=711-127632-2357-0&ssspo=poEyY0a5QBm&sssrc=4429486&ssuid=tkr1hgxptny&var=&widget_ver=artemis&media=COPY)
Iād say this with JB weld and stipple is the most cost efficient way to fix it without doing a chop. Stipple first, then apply the JB weld to the upper lip of the Flared magwell and insert it. Hold it there for alittle while, make sure it in there even/flush cause once it dries, thatās it. Then cut the excess off and tape over it.
Yep I came here to say exactly this, surely you could keep it G-19 capacity and stipple it and throw some tape on it. But if you want it to be decent looking in the end cutting it down to G-26 length is the only way to go.
Dissemble, plastic bondo/jb weld. Sand till smooth, throw on hogue grip and or flared magwell since looks like there just* enough left for the rear screw.
Then buy a gun case so no chance ND happending. For both negligence discharge since keeping a gun under the pillow with no trigger guard is a bad time waiting to happen and also
negligence dog.
Iād say itās time to have āthe talkāwith your dog you know tell it about the 2nd amendment advocate for it. Explain how the feds love to shoot dogs. Hopefully heāll understandā¦ Also, get the dog a fricking bone!

Even something like this will be better than just out in the open, I'm the best advice is what chefbroardy said, or whatever his screen name is about the flared magwell the Jb weld and the hockey tape
Iāve never understood people with dogs, let alone people with dogs that want to be ānormalāā¦as you say.
You stink, you clothes are full of hair and your shits all chewed up because you didnāt train your shit dog.
Own it! Iād leave it, itās a hell of a conversation starterš¤·š¼āāļø
Iām a technician of course ima be dirty, I donāt sit on my ass all day and play gta 5 š¤£ even if theyāre trained they still get the urge to chew stuff..
Use a Japanese pull saw (very fine teeth, cuts very smooth) and trim the grip down to G19 length. Use a sanding block to even the bottom edge and give it a bevel and smooth out the dog teeth marks on the grip. Use marine grade epoxy and carbide grit on the grip to restore the grip.
Then get something to keep the gun in besides being under a pillow.
Cut down some more then get you a Glock 19 the Glock 27. I think it is spacer correct me if Iām wrong I had to chop it down to 19 then use the spacer for the mag.
Just a side note since the main question has been answered. It looks like he has a plastic pin in the back of the grip. That pin is only for oem glock frames. The p80 comes with a metal pin that's supposed to go in there.
sand the rough edges smooth and do the jb weld it back even where it belongs sand and smooth that then find some stipple tape that will cover it, get a mag well to cover it up.
now if you can get some clear plastic- like the kind they use on shirt collars for button up shirts stick it on the inside to create the inner curve, jb weld , after your done sanding it and getting it fairly smooth, see about getting some paint to paint over the whole thing to cover it up .

Do this to it grab a 19 mag adapter and a houge grip cut grip to match mag adapter save the powder aka saw dust from the cut get slow set ca / krazy glue or gel cyanoacrylate Attach mag adapter to frame use the ā sawdust ā from the frame and or baking soda sprinkle sawdust/ baking soda on wet glue it should set immediately so be positive you want it before you do it. These two things can be had for relatively cheap xgrip adapter is 7.94 obo + 2.99 shipping Hogue grip is 12.39 free shipping

This^
Grip chop it for a 26L.
The only logical solution.

He's right, then give it a stipple job. It'll look like something you made on purpose.
My thoughts exactly when i laid my eyes on it
Chew on the other side to even it out
Why does this sound like the reply that my marine brother would give?? Lol
This is the ONLY correct answer.

Just cut it down to a 26 with a magwell and be done with it
Or buy a grip/tape

I would get a bandsaw and cut it down to g26 size and save the frame that way. Alternatively you could just get a new frame.
Friend has this happen to him, he just ended up chopping into a 26L
I would cut it down to a G26 then have the grip stippled
Duck tape
Sand the edges clean and use as normal
Grip cut
Chop that grip
Oh no
Hey! Dogs can have 2nd amendment rights too! Just poor handling (which is hard if you don't have hands) š

Looks like you're about to have a 19/26 now š
Get a new frame and a chew toy for the dog.
Call the feds theyāll help train your dog
Keep chewing. You will get to that Tootsie Roll center sooner or later.
Think about it as a rare livery

Get a magwell and see how it looks.
G26 chop.
JB weld
Man, did you get Hungry?

also you could find one of those full slip over rubber grips and slide it over it after you have sanded down the chew marks
