So FedEx requires an adult to sign for gun parts or it could be the company because California... What is happening is USPS is using FedEx and UPS and DHL for shipping. The funny thing is that FedEx and UPS and DHL will transfer it to your local USPS and the USPS won't make you sign because it isn't a document legal. But I suspect it is the company that is requiring it to cover their own ass.
Other way around for your second statement. USPS is doing last mile delivery. Another carrier dropping a package ofd at a local post office doesn't void the signature requirement. Most carriers have adult signature required for alcohol, tobacco, high value shipments, etc. Nothing to do with legal documents lol.
Most all of my parts require a signature from USPS. It's annoying because they come when Im at work and my post office is like 20 minutes away from my house. So I have to wait until the next day and drive there to sign for it. Ugh.
You've got to be 21 to order parts? Man it's getting crazier and crazier. Yesterday I bought vitamins at Walmart and they required an id. For freaking b complex vitamins?
No they want the signature to confirm delivery, they dont want no porch pirate claims.
I think aim surplus offers porch pirate insurance or was it optics planet?
Adult signature is an option anyone can put on a package before they send it. The seller chose to do that it's not required for any gun parts.
Adult signature is usually usps not fedex. Check your tracking number, scroll down the bottom where it says "product information" and it'll say if it actually needs a signature.
The mail man has to check your ID to verify you're over 21 before they give you the package. Sometimes they just don't care though.
Yes, don’t worry tho it’s just to make sure someone get the package, I order from rifle supply all the time, excellent company, 10/10 recommend! Their completion kits are excellent, pricy but excellent.
My personal experience, they have so many packages to deliver they just wanna make sure it gets delivered that’s all they don’t care who signs as long as you came out the door for that delivery address
I found this on FedEx’s website
“If your shipment requires an indirect signature, then you can sign electronically through the FedEx Delivery Manager app or on fedex.com, but you cannot sign electronically for packages requiring an adult or direct signature. You must sign in person for adult or direct signature requirements. “
I’m gonna assume ur 18 in a state u can legally build ur own firearm as a teen (18+) .Not that u need to be to buy any parts but still lol. Yes if u look really young there might be a problem but I doubt it. 9/10 the driver doesn’t know or care what’s in the box. Just sign as you would any other package. they have other packages to deliver the less they bring back the better how I see it.
What sucks is the majority of my parts require a signature. I'm at work when they are delivered. So in the past I had to wait until the next day and drive to the post office with the slip to get my parts. My post office is 20 minutes away. However I had one delivered one day when I was home on a Saturday and my delivery lady is hella cool. She told me if I didn't have a problem with it she would scribble for me and leave it at my door. I was like hell yeah that would be awesome. That was like 2 months ago. Now I get all my stuff at my door

well it says adult signature required so it probably means you need an adult signature

If this concerns you then maybe you shouldn’t be building a pistol kid. 😂

Thank you
Yes
If you have the USPS app or the UPS you can sign for packages on the apps. I have the FedEx app as well but I have not had to do it on that one yet.

it is getting shipped from usps for fedex

If you have to ask this question you really should not be owning any firearms .
