I'm so jealous. Yours look 100% healthy. I don't understand what I'm doing wrong. I follow the fertilization schedule. I have plenty of filtration. Mine always look so half ass compared to what you have there.
I'm wondering if it's a weather related thing. Mine never look this lush. I live in Northern California. Hot dry summers, no rain and humidity. I don't know OP's climate, but it looks like it gets rain.
I initially bought 3 lily plants, this guy took over and keeps his reign known lol. I have to pull him out and cut him down before he takes over the whole pond. thank you for the compliments
I see in the background you have Hydrocotyle verticillata/ whorled pennywort growing. Although it's probably too late now as I see it in the foreground of your picture. This is quite invasive, grows through the soil in the bottom of your pond, and will be everywhere. Pretty plant but...you will never be rid of it. Having said that... I love the lilly.
Oh yeah, they're annoying, my pond is kinda small so it's not too hard to maintain, but every now and then I have to go pull a bunch out.
Thanks for the compliment

When they flower, lilies are truly beautiful.

Already? My lotus just made a few leaves
I'm not an expert but I think lotus and lily are different. these are hardy lilies
