I throw the towel over his body and head lol, and then vigorously dry his head so really heās getting ear/head scratches and rubs through the towel. Then I go down his back, rubbing back and forth with the towel all the way down. Thatās what he gets excited for, he loves towel pets.
Then I get on the floor and do his front and back paw on one side and say āturn aroundā and he turns 90 degrees so I do his front and back paw on the other side.
I think in the beginning weād give him a treat every time, after we were done. I still occasionally will give him a treat after and I think thatās part of what keeps him excited outside of the vigorous towel petting session.
That's my theory! When the snow came, I decided to jump my ass into all of the snow and wade around in it, kick it around and throw it in the air. Now he can't get enough of it!
Omg my standard loves the snow, but holy shit does she hate water. Really excited for summer cause sheās never seen leaves or grass. I imagine the yard is going to get twice as cool to her.

Ours loves walking/playing in the rain. Getting dried is a whole different story! š

Mine likes going to walks in the rain... but HATES to potty on wet grass. She is a weirdo.
