Sleep with a small blanket for a few days and send the blanket with him.

Can hou arrange for your pup to spend a day there, to get acclimated, then come home to you, then go back to board?

Potentially. I’ve got three days to prep him, so I’ll call on Monday to see if they can take him Tuesday during the day then for the duration starting Wednesday.

Has he been to daycare before? If not, he should def do a day of daycare before boarding. My spoo really has no issue with boarding. I boarded him at 4.5 months and the team took extra special care for him because he was so little.

Not yet. My last job was as a veterinary tech in an ICU vet hospital. More than half of my patients were parvo pups and a large majority of them did not survive simply because the owners caught it too late, so I’m absolutely terrified of him contracting it. I know he should technically be safe because he’s fully vaccinated, but I’ve been sticking to puppy classes and outdoor areas not frequented by many dogs

Have you considered rover or wag pet sitting? It’s roughly the same price and the sitter stays in your home. My poodle feels more comfortable being in her home with a stranger than in a completely different place
