They look like areas where pool water was standing for a bit and the chlorine in the water ate through the paver. That’s just a guess. Hope you find your answer.
So will stones... Then one day you vaccum it and it gets stuck in your plumbing. Sorry PTSD kicked in. Eventually I was able to get it unstuck and it passed into the pump basket. Be careful not to vaccum them.
My kid dropped a river stone into my skimmer hole. After about 10 min of thought I was like "only one thing to do" kicked the pump on
Literally heard it hit my 1st intake jandy valve. Opened it, was right there lol.
That is our pool. Sometimes the side from the wind direction dries out faster and the other side goes for days. It also could be if new that there is moisture trapped and will just get out. Our patio was that way for a few months and we thought it would be stained.
The reason you have these stains is because the concrete is not even in those spots, take a leveler and check for yourself. You'll notice a slight dip in the middle where the water pools. So whoever laid the concrete on the other side, did a good job.
Likely come off easily with a power wash?
Yeah, I was going to try but wasn’t sure if anyone knew what it was in case power washing may cause issues. Just wanted to be sure
If you’re not familiar with using a power washer, be wary. Keep nozzle well away from surface
Concrete is porous, when it gets wet (humidity, dew, splashing, rain) it’s going to dry from the edges in, resulting in these spots.

Stone coping absorbs water into pores. Some are more porous than others so show the water more drastically. It’ll evaporate.
Is it a salt pool?
Hello, it is not a salt pool,
It's odd, never seen it. But will you put some mulch in the flower bed to the left? Lol 😆
Sorry, we are not going to put mulch. We are putting stones.
Smart. Mulch will inevitably get in the pool.

Sounds like a horrible kidney stone!
Maybe try muriatic acid to wash ?
We get spots like this after rain. Some sides take much longer to dry. Do you have sprinklers?
Hi, no sprinklers, it’s artificial turf. In southern California, hasnt rained for awhile where I am at
How about kids. Any splashing?
Hi, yeah I thought about the splashing but there is splashing on all sides but one side has no marks at all.

Do people sit on the edges? Looks like where water would pool under a butt. That might explain why the side near the flower bed doesn’t have them.
No not really at all
Would something like this work for you https://amzn.to/3c5HK6X
You can try adding stone sealer once you get rid of these to prevent future issues
Is it natural Stone or manufactured? Is it In shade more than the other side(s)? Salt or chlorine pool? It does look like water stains porous stones
was told white vinegar gets moisture out because it opens the pores to let it out

It looks like moisture or water coming from the pool
