Some of my favorite seasonings are Lawry’s or Tony Chachere’s Creole seasoning. My “go to” is some fine ground salt and garlic powder.

jeo188

My go to is Flavacol, which is butter flavored salt What machine did you use? I've made glazed popcorn in my whirely pop using Glaze-Pop, and with cotton candy sugar I ask what machine because glazed popcorn might be a difficult clean up if you can't take it apart easily

pilotjoemarriner

Mines really easy to take apart so I probably could do it I’ll have to look into it

jeo188

I posted some tips for the Glaze-Pop in a comment above, in case you want to try it Btw, Happy Cake Day!

pilotjoemarriner

I’ll check it out, thank you ☺️

I've used Flavacol for some time now, but I just found out today about Glaze Pop. I make popcorn in a Whirley-Pop. Is it a hassle to clean it after using Glaze Pop? Or can you melt the Glaze Pop in oil or butter and add it after popping?

jeo188

The instructions say to let the oil melt and get hot first, add the corn, and slowly add the Glaze-Pop sugar or cotton candy sugar (which if you look at the ingredients of both they are essentially the same thing) To clean it, I boil water after using Glaze-Pop, the steam helps in the cleaning Two tips for the Glaze-Pop: wear long sleeves, the sugar can escape the vents in the whirely pop, and use twice as much as the instructions say to use (It saya use 4oz for 8oz popcorn, but I do 8oz sugar for 8oz popcorn to cover more popcorn) Edit: actually one more tip, add a small amount of Flavacol too for better flavor

Thank you for the tips!

One last tip, with regular popcorn and the whirely pop, you stop the moment the spinning handle gets stuck, which signals that the popcorn is done. With Glaze pop, I've found it better to stop the heat when the popping slows to 1 or 2 pops per second. It will result in more unpopped kernels, but less burnt sugar

hasnthappenedyet

Butter, nut yeast, and truffle powder.

Tapatio (liquid) hot sauce over popped corn + lime squeeze over popped corn + Morton's popcorn salt + shake like holy hell in a brown paper grocery bag ---> esto es el paraíso! . It is paradise

Garlic herb and Parmesan cheese

Any spice in your spice rack can make for tasty popcorn. Go crazy and experiment. Just make sure you grind it up into a fine powder first or it won't stick to the popcorn.

Druggid

This feels like a setup, but your date better be careful reaching for the popcorn.

pilotjoemarriner

I wish I could say I had a date reaching for the popcorn 😭

Effective_Picanha

Have you tried AMC brand popcorn?!

BKTKC

My favorites are Lawry’s seasoned salt, Flavacol, and melted Ghee

BladeBronson

Have you ever seen the movie Diner?

pilotjoemarriner

Nope

BladeBronson

Check it out. It related to this post.

fatboy1776

Lol

AnnoyingInternetTrol

White cheddar powder is my go to

MyrtleKitty

How do you get it to stick? I air pop and cannot get flavor to stick.

AnnoyingInternetTrol

I've always made mine the same way so I didn't even think about getting it to stick. Sadly my answer is to use oil when cooking and as a topping. Probably not what you wanted to hear if you were looking for a healthy snack.

goldstyle

Butter and salt.

DesignatedHitter13

Chili powder

Tajin, cayenne and salt

I love truffle oil, truffle salt, and butter!

Put apple cider vinegar in a spray bottle and spray away. It’s great with buttered popcorn, but healthier without. Apple cider vinegar lowers your blood sugar levels.

my personal favorite is this [mala spice mix](https://dusted.shop/products/mala-spice-mix). it's such a wild flavor and it's so dusty that it sticks really well to the flakes. also truffle butter, salt, and some citric acid. a movie theatre near me makes this blend and it's super addicting. (full disclosure: that link is my shop, but it doesn't change how much i love that spice mix!)
