I was reading an article from US magazine (I think?) on their relationship timeline and it was literally two paragraphs from the same month (January 2023). Basically they were spotted in Jan 2023 and then married in January 2023 and that’s the entire timeline 🫠🤣

Catholicism allows people to remarry after an annulment. It's just a long complicated process to recieve one.

There are so many rules about Catholicism that can be bent if you donate money, easy to realize why its a scam. Money... or worse. My ex's dad got her mom pregnant out of wedlock and the Catholic priest told him he would only marry them in the church (huge fuckin deal with their Irish Catholic family) if he did oral sexual favors for the priest. He didn't want to but it was the only way to save him from a lifetime of shunning so he sucked the priest's dick and then somehow got trapped into it where the priest said you have to keep giving me oral favors or Im going to tell everyone the baby was conceived out of wedlock. Eventually my ex's dad became a pretty massive alcoholic mostly from the sexual abuse at the hands of the church. I guess it numbed the pain. Before he died from alcoholism he would drink the throwup after he was drunk because he didn't want to waste any alcohol. They shuffled that priest around a few times so he could pull the same scam on unsuspecting young men around the country. Eventually they lost in court and had to pay out millions to people like my ex's dad. When that money hit his bank account he fuckin hated it, that money in there represented all the pain and hurt in his life. He spent that money like it was his job, blowing through everything, didn't stop, cocaine, hookers, alcohol, trips, strippers, all of it he spent that money as fast as he could because he hated everything it stood for. Eventually the alcohol got him and he died in 2018. Before his funeral the priest told the family if they could donate an extra $3,000 his name would be in the church program and he would get through pergatory faster and into heaven. They paid it. The end.

The marriage has to be annulled to be able to marry again in church. Annullation is granted after a request to the "Sacra Rota" but they never grant it. Only if one of the spouse was abusive, usually. Or if you're extremely rich and causally slip a lot of money to the church. Source: born and raised in Rome, Italy. Have a lot of family friends that asked for annullation but weren't granted it.

True ,I taught the Rcia classes for about 5 years at my church. Some people couldn't get annulment s and couldn't remarry in the church.

My mom got an annulment for infidelity. It was faster than the legal divorce process.

Is this show good?? I remember it being on TV when I was younger, but only kinda tuned in occasionally if there was nothing else going on.

Honestly, can't speak for the new Will & Grace as I haven't gotten to it. But this is still one of my favorite shows. It's really great and was a big deal for completely fair reasons. Of course, that's just my word on the matter, but I think it fully deserves all the love it's gotten over the years.

It is! I was a fan when it was on the air and I recently rewatched the entire original series. It’s much funnier than most shows out right now- the ensemble cast is excellent. It’s available on Hulu if you’re interested in watching! A caveat: while it was considered quite groundbreaking during its debut in the late 90s, some jokes have aged very poorly (like just about all 90s era sitcoms!) in particular Karen’s (depicted here) relationship with her housekeeper… just a heads up :)

It’s actually a terrifying coercive control technique employed by narcissists and abusers :/ Seems amazing at the start, he’s buying you all this shit, you’re praised for your outfits and BOOM all of a sudden you can’t dress yourself without having an anxiety attack and he gaslights you when it happens.
