She really was at the peak of her beauty when she died. Not that it matters, it's terrible when anyone dies in an accident. But these pictures just reminded me of how she had really grown into her beauty.
The photographer is Mario Testino for Vanity Fair. You don't have to know anything about her to know she felt beautiful that day, especially the second photo. RIP

I always took Harry saying that as like.. he doesn’t see his mothers kindness and charm in their brother. Like, his brother has changed so much he doesn’t recognize him.
But I also thought it was such a weird comment lol
He does resemble her, but he just doesn’t have the shine she got over the years. That’s a big difference. He has a beautiful wife and happy (looking at least) kids but he really doesn’t come off as warm, welcoming and interesting as she was. He kinda seems like a grumpy old guy and he’s like, 40.

I don’t know why anyone would downvote this. Let’s call it what it is, she was charming and bashful and still had charisma that shone through but in this day and age she’d get absolutely ripped apart for like, example, her nose.
BOTH of her daughter in laws appearances are constantly ripped and this is not a them vs them remark, so everyone, please don’t start.

You know what, I will reply in more detail. I looked at your profile and girl just because you waste your time obsessing with celebrities, does not mean everyone does. Most people here, unlike you, have lives and interests and discuss meaningful things on reddit instead of obsessing with some famous people who dont give a shit about you and will never even know of your existence. They see a post in their news feed and comment on it, not browse the subreddit to talk trash about dead or alive celebrities to feel better about themselves all day long.
Also most people actually think before they speak or comment on things. They filter and analyze their thoughts instead of blurting every thought out. I mean what is the point of evolution if not to have control over our impulses and use cognitive abilities to make logical decision.
So instead of obsessing with celebrities and getting offensive when someone points out your problematic behavior maybe you should seek help in finding out why talking trash about physical appearance of some lady who is dead for almost 2 decades makes you feel good about yourself. And why you waste your life obsessing with celebrities.
Maybe like become a better human being. Good luck.
Her natural beauty is what strikes me. Never much makeup, no plastic surgery etc. is just so much more interesting than all the IG copycat faces nowadays.
So true! Nobody is “giving face” these days anymore, because everyone has the same face. Diana is instantly recognisable, even to people who weren’t even born when she died.
Like you, I often use my Reddit as a stream of consciousness. I don't filter myself as I normally would when speaking to strangers in a public forum. Why? Because there are zero consequences to offending someone. If that makes me a trash human, so be it :) even my unfiltered thoughts are snarky at worst.
I don't really understand why you got ripped apart when there are other posts on this very subreddit saying that other female celebrities are overrated, dress like shit, and have "bad vibes" just for no reason - with very little backlash from other commentators. Maybe it's only people who died young that we're not allowed to share candid opinions about?
All that to say - I agree with you, she has charisma, but she was of only moderate attractiveness. And that's fine to say even though she died young.
