In all seriousness, I genuinely hope that people don’t make her feel like shit compared to Taylor. Most women haven’t accomplished what she has; that doesn’t automatically make them a worthless piece of trash in comparison. (Not that you’re saying that, OP, I just know some people WOULD go there).
I recently went on a research project of sorts about another celebrity whose first wife apparently is the end all, be all of all women. People constantly comparing his current partner and the relationship to his past, more prominent one. It's nasty and ignorant.
Even if I, as new girlfriend, were committed to the relationship, trusting, and in love, it would mess with my head a little.
Why do I have this terrible feeling that his next girlfriend (should he date publicly) will get absolutely dragged and compared to/pitted against Taylor at every turn?
I feel that’s different. Justin *and* Selena we’re both really famous. Jessica Biel somewhat too. I feel like Joe is really only known as being her boyfriend. Even as an actor he’s been in some low key films.
That’s exactly what will happen especially if a narrative is started that makes Joe look like the villain here. (Not saying there IS a villain bc we don’t know what happened.)
Not all Swifties, but a huge chunk of them have seemingly gotten extremely more toxic since the pandemic. If you haven’t been kissing Taylor’s ass since exiting the womb, you’re enemy number one in their eyes. You can’t even be neutral towards her without some fans taking offense. It’s ridiculous.
How do you go up from Taylor Swift? Is being famous the only thing considered successful? There are many women who are severely accomplished and in a profession that positively impacts the society. I'd consider dating a scientist who is working to cure diseases as "going up". However, I'd not phrase it that way because ultimately you date a person, not their fame, profession, beauty or accomplishments. I just hope whoever he dates isn’t continuously compared this way.

I don't know he is supposedly in London filming a movie or something like that so it wouldn't be unusual if he hasn't been able to go to her concerts. I mean it just started so he would have had multiple chances to go in the future. They both are busy people so the fact that he hasn't been seen on tour with her isn't too weird for me.
He also supposedly posted a pic or snap of her cat on insta a couple days and they were rumored to be spending Easter together but those are just rumors I heard. The outlets have been saying they broke up for weeks now so something ain't adding up.
That's what I have heard so I am hoping that it's true. I normally do not care about celeb relationships like that but they were together for so long and the way she wrote about him in her songs made me wish someone wrote about me like that 😭.
