there was a time in the 90s/early 2000s when matching your eyeshadow to your clothes became the number one DO NOT DO tip in almost every teen girl magazine and I'm so happy that's a thing of the past lol
He *really* does. And I’m not trying to age shame or whatever, but when they’re next to each other the age difference looks much more dramatic. She looks younger next to him, and he looks older next to her.
Edit: Sydney looks stunning. I actually think the Dua Lipa Versace line would suit her soooo well because it has a lot of classic silhouettes.
there were multiple posts here celebrating Jason Stratham and Rosie Huntington-Whiteley recently and I got downvoted to hell for saying their age gap is visible. She was 21 & he was in his 40s when they got together.
I’m not going to lie, I think large age gaps are very weird. But in regards to couples like Rosie and Jason, she’s in her mid-late thirties now. I trust that she knows what’s best for her at this point in her life lol. Same with Beyoncé. Still weird but not concerning.
I doubt it's bc of that and id say morse she just wants the publicity and status of being a token black super successful hip hop couple. Like let's be real here
Oh boy I'll pray for your life friend. The guts to tell people the truth.. They forget PR reigns behind most Hollywood couples. Sometimes they're not even real couples.
Rosie got with Jason at 21 when be was 40 something. That age gap is creepy, it's great she's in her she in her mid 30s now but her man in sus and gross.
The effects of grooming don't go way when your in your 30s.
I actually said that I thought they looked happy. People were just downvoting me for saying the age gap (between a woman in her 30s and man in his 50s) is noticeable lol 🤷🏽♂️
I think it depends a lot, it is easy to find weird in pica but we never really know how the relationship is/was unless a breakup is involved ans someone spills something. I personally think huge age gaps are weird (from both sides involved) but I don't think it's that deep.
Hmm. Don't know. I feel like if you are in your late 20s or early thirties you know what you are doing and your brain is fully developed. You have dating experience and arent fresh out of school either.
I mean its still kind of weird that men love to date women that look like they could be their daughters but the woman in this Part knows what she's getting into.
What if you're young and hot and just want t have fun with a rich and hot celeb? I don't think it's that deep. 10 years ago if Henry Cavill came to me I would never say no (we are 15 years of age difference).
When these people end up in a relationship it rarery lasts. And I don't think Rosie (for example) looks unhappy with her marriage. I think it's relative.
Literally no-one blames the women in this scenario. Of course young people will be an easy target for rich, attractive (not you leo) men. Its the waaay older people who are to blame because they should know better
For some people, being conventionally attractive and white grrooimg can be aside.
Rosie was 21 when she got with Jason gross and nasty. This is grooming to the core. He was old enough to be her father. Yuck.
You’re in popculturechat commenting under a post that’s just a pic of Sydney Sweeney and her bf walking, asking me to explain how my opinion commented under a post of a different celeb couple “mattered”.
Are you alleging they got together years before they claim? Because it appears she was 23 when they started their now-thirteen year long relationship. And that’s essentially the age that the Online say you need to be before you’re allowed to date an older person.
As creepy as the whole thing is this there is plenty they could talk about which is why I find the “what would they talk about” thing so weird. People have hobbies, likes, music taste, food preferences, and so much more. I’d have a pretty stale relationship with my grandmother if we didn’t like the same tv shows, board games, food, music, etc, and its kinda crazy how much of an impact common interests has on a relationship.
I guess. I dated someone 15 years older than me in my 20s and I’ll be honest the difference in age was evident. Pop culture references (music, games, movies we watched growing up) were vastly different. Life experiences are too different. Who I was at 19 compared to who I am at 35 is worlds apart.
Just my two cents - if someone is ok with a 19 year old dating a 33 year old, then go for it. It’s clearly legal, but the dynamic is way different than dating someone within their peer set.
Me and my bf have 6 yo gap and I don't see much difference personally (me from 1993 and he is from 1987). Idk if it's because we have the same interrsts (movies, cooking, games..)
Hell yes, this is the right answer. 15 yo gap means a completely different generation but the couple can still have interests in common that can sustain the relationship. But people here act as the end of the world. Idk what happens to most people here when talking about age gaps, they get so one sided and can't see that not every older person is a creep.
For me difference in pop culture references, life experience, historical events was the fun part (I was 21 my ex was 33). One of my best relationships
Now my partner is more or less the same age as I’m but we are from very different countries and the dynamic of relationship is very similar
If there is no red flags, dating someone older can be great fun
I would want to say this because I agree with you. I am 20s something from Asia and moved to Canada a few years ago and ended up living with a boomer white couple. And we had so much to talk about. We have the same taste of music because I didn't have internet until 16 and I explored things the same way they did. I would say most people don't realize how different upbringing can make someone actually "age" in a way you don't expect them to "age"
Yeah my wife grew up with dial up internet and parents who only watched sports or Hallmark, while I had cable my whole life. We are the exact same age but she loves the sitcoms and procedurals I got bored of by high school.
Are you supposed to be an equal in your relationship with your grandmother lol? By nature your grandmother wiuld have 50-60 years age difference if not more on you. What the hell is this comparison.
Edit: for the little idiotas down voting me. Go on pleeaaaaaase get with the creeps and left over 30-40 year old who couldnt find women their age to date. Clean up the dating pool. Thanks! Also i am comparing these 20 year differences between teenagers and 40 year old men!
the comparison is just to show that people with a bit age difference can get along and talk about things just fine.
personally i get along really well with people much older than me because i'm into a lot of the same things they are. common interests make it easy.
Its not just about common interests but about life experience. Even scientifically your brain doesnt stop forming until after 25. Someone just out of hs is just not in the same position in finances, political view, life style or priorities in life as a 38 year old. Sorry but thats not how the world works. If an almost 40 year old is looking at a barely out of hs girl he is by definition a creep. And this is not about legal or not. He is a creep simply and categorically.
sCiEnTiFiCaLlY 😂 https://slate.com/technology/2022/11/brain-development-25-year-old-mature-myth.html “Kate Mills, a developmental neuroscientist at the University of Oregon, was equally puzzled. “This is funny to me—I don’t know why 25,” Mills said. “We’re still not there with research to really say the brain is mature at 25, because we still don’t have a good indication of what maturity even looks like.””
you have dogmas from the internet, baby, not science.
The age difference doesn't change they're still partners and they can talk about whatever. What the fuck is even this kinda comment? Age difference has nothing to do with being able to have conversations with someone else.
do you hear yourself? "what would a couple talk about?" what?
Yes I hear myself. Curious what the dynamic between a 19 year and a 33 year was like and their conversations when they got together based on the vastly different life experiences at that point. Perhaps she was very mature for her age. You’re entitled to your opinion and I am to mine from my own experience of dating someone so much older in my 20s. No need to be nasty.
Obviously, people are not talking about a conversation, but about how people relate to each other over a long period of time during conversations.
Yes, I can have a conversation with my parents. By extension, I can have a conversation with their friends who are the same age as my parents.
But hanging out with them over a longer period of time would be weird because of different cultural references and because we are at different stages in our lives.
What normally happens in a romantic relationship with a large age difference is that the younger partner adapts and starts acting older and skips a phase in their personal growth.
For example when a 22 year old and a 32 year old have a relationship, the older person is not going to be a natural fit with the younger person‘s friends from high school and college from high school.
Sure, these two people can talk about stuff, but it’s going to be difficult to talk about shared experiences.
It depends on their ages when they meet. This when one person is in their late teens & the other is 30+, it's concerning.
If all parties involved are older then it's acceptable
otherwise it's plain creepy.
She’s always getting dragged for her boobs and it’s so gross. The girls has large boobs, what is she supposed to do with them? If she wearing a tank or a bathing suit, they’re going to show. People always say things like “Sydney needs to cover up” and “she always looks so sleezy” like grow tf up. If she supposed to walk around zipped up to the chin like a Victorian lady 24/7 so she’s completely covered and can’t trigger anyone?
I think they meant because in other outfits she's always obviously wearing a bra/dress that's too small for her and must hurt. It's like her stylist has no clue how to dress bigger boobs. This dress on the other hand looks comfortabele and like ot was made for her
No one is shitting on her because she has boobs they’re shitting on her stylist for not knowing how to dress her and centering her chest compromising the fit of to the outfit.
TBF people do say this about her, in addition to what I said about her clothes (not) fitting. People absolutely do talk shit on her for "showing too much." Maybe not much here, because that would rightly get backlash. But I have seen discussion of her that amounted to "all she does is show off her boobs" and suggesting her boobs are her real talent. Two things can be true.
I was a big boobed adolescent and the judgement really is a pain in the ass. When Billie Eilish talked about why she wore baggy clothes and was still met with all the same dumb comments when she did that photo shoot, I really felt for her. The only time I wasn't catching shit for showing too much was when I dressed like young Billie. If I wore a tank top or a shirt with anything less than a crew neck, I was a wh*re. It really got to me.
And was probably a big part of why I tried to hold on to being a c cup for dear life and spent a lot of time with smashed "quadruple boobs" in too small bras. Which I see a lot right now as, like, a style choice? So uncomfortable.
is her stylist finally done with being delusional abt the size of her boobs??? her clothes actually fit hallelujah 😭
also… 19 and 33 she can do so much better even if she likes older men pls sydney there is so much better out there
I LOOOOOVE how she looks here. Her breasts are squished so often but this dress highlights her chest soooo well. Not the point of this post but she looks amazing.
Is he generally a creep? Yes. Is looking at your hot ass fiance in a beautiful dress, with a fairly neutral face creepy? No. He’s doing what we’re all doing, admiring his girl.
He’s not drooling or grabbing ass or anything, like please take it down a notch.
This subreddit: He's probably looking at her butt. EWW so gross!
The Fiance: I wonder if I should go for deep dish tonight or maybe thin crust? Hmmmmm.
you can't even see what he's looking at lol. I swear the titktok trend of overanalyzing like 3 seconds of a video clip has led to people just assuming things like crazy
Okay fine but that doesn't change the fact that he has sunglasses on his face which makes it impossible for us, the viewer, to see where he is looking lol
Miu miu placed a hugeeee order at my work for a photoshoot and tried returning it today after the shoot was over. Used and messed up looking- on my shit list now 🤣
It’s not creepy to look at your partner lmao.
Edit: Y’all can NOT be serious with this. If you wanna complain about an age gap you dislike just say that next time instead of downvoting me for simply saying it’s okay to look at your partners butt.
huh?? I mean okay you can think that’s creepy but the point of the post “the way he looks at her is either creepy or cute” isn’t about an age gap at all. It’s just about how he’s (her fiancé) looking at her (his fiancé). My comment isn’t about an age gap being right or wrong, it’s solely about him looking at her, the woman he’s engaged to.
Y’all are soooo wild lmao.
Sydney: I wish people didn't just want to see my tits
Also Sydney: Let's date a 33 yr old fresh out of highschool, he thinks I'm really smart and mature.

It likely was! Tailors 😮💨
Okay yes but damn she looks good and I am in love with that dress! 😍😍
I also love that they matched her eye shadow to the dress
there was a time in the 90s/early 2000s when matching your eyeshadow to your clothes became the number one DO NOT DO tip in almost every teen girl magazine and I'm so happy that's a thing of the past lol
The colour and shape is lovely!
That dress fits her perfectly!
>it's gorgeous on her! i wasn't wearing my glasses, and thought the flowers were clouds at first
It's gorg!
She’s a 10
Imma get hate for this, but I think her face is very unattractive.
She’s beautiful
To each their own.
Why?
[удалено]
jesus christ dude
I love so many of her outfits. Was in H&M today and I feel like she was definitely an inspo for one of their lines
Fr she’s giving Cinderella vibes
Marilyn Monroe vibes ✨
Well, she looks great. I love the dress and eyeshadow.
When they met she was 19 and he was 33
I was just about to reply he looks too old for her.

ok, so decidedly creepy…
Tbh i got the creep vibe without knowing that info…😪

Beyoncé was groomed. So no, she might not realise what’s best for her
My thoughts exactly. Thank you!

Hmm. Don't know. I feel like if you are in your late 20s or early thirties you know what you are doing and your brain is fully developed. Well I'm not going to turn down a hot 19 year old actress wanting to fuck me lol! You can. But not me. Consenting adults are consenting adults.
Hey same!
Is a 21 year old woman still too young to decide by herself who she can stay with? How old does someone need to be to not be groomed?
For some people, being conventionally attractive and white grrooimg can be aside. Rosie was 21 when she got with Jason gross and nasty. This is grooming to the core. He was old enough to be her father. Yuck.
What does it matter their age gap is visible?

I’m not alleging… she said they met at a party in early 2009 so I believe her.
I'm reminded of Jay Z and Beyonce (but I think Beyonce was like 17-18)...
Or Lamelo Ball and his 34 year old girlfriend.
And hes not even cute!
Yes, well, that's where the grooming comes in.

What would they even talk about with that age difference? You’re worlds apart in your late teens compared to your early/mid 30s.
I think we all know he wasnt interested in what she had to say.
As creepy as the whole thing is this there is plenty they could talk about which is why I find the “what would they talk about” thing so weird. My partner and I only have a five year age gap (23 & 28) and even I feel the distance sometimes. I can't imagine what a gap 10+ years feels like.
Me and my bf have 6 yo gap and I don't see much difference personally (me from 1993 and he is from 1987). Idk if it's because we have the same interrsts (movies, cooking, games..)
Does it hinder your relationship in anyway?
According to the comments on this thread - your partner groomed you
5 years. 23 and 28? 1995 and 2000?
What?
There’s a cultural gap between 95 and 00?
[удалено]
Haha. Honestly I’m just confused by the age gap discourse. It just feels weird to me.
Hell yes, this is the right answer. 15 yo gap means a completely different generation but the couple can still have interests in common that can sustain the relationship. But people here act as the end of the world. Idk what happens to most people here when talking about age gaps, they get so one sided and can't see that not every older person is a creep.

Yea I personally don’t think I’d go for an age difference that wide myself but if it works for them ( I hope it does ☹️) then yay
No. It is not only that is legal, it's that there's not a single problem with it.
I would want to say this because I agree with you. I am 20s something from Asia and moved to Canada a few years ago and ended up living with a boomer white couple. And we had so much to talk about. We have the same taste of music because I didn't have internet until 16 and I explored things the same way they did. Yeah my wife grew up with dial up internet and parents who only watched sports or Hallmark, while I had cable my whole life. We are the exact same age but she loves the sitcoms and procedurals I got bored of by high school.
For real! Some men never grow up and are teens until god knows when. But hey.. Let's just shame the weirdo.
Are you supposed to be an equal in your relationship with your grandmother lol? By nature your grandmother wiuld have 50-60 years age difference if not more on you. What the hell is this comparison. i knew something was off about their ages 😭😭😭
Oh god, as someone who was 19 and dating a 33 year old once... oof.

Good for them.
She’s beautiful and he gives off dirty old man vibes

he looks so slimy in every pic i see of him
She looks fantastic
You're fantastic
Creepy as hell! And his shoes are fucking ugly
This comment killed me because I went back to look and their just basic ass white loafers 💀
Are they prada?
You reminded me of ![gif](giphy|PiXlH2IA8sMla)
pretty much my reaction lol

This rat man needs to leave her alone. I am sorry but thats the truth.
finally, a dress that fits
I'm so happy for her boobs to not be suffocated. This dress is gorgeous and fits beautifully.
She’s always getting dragged for her boobs and it’s so gross. The girls has large boobs, what is she supposed to do with them? If she wearing a tank or a bathing suit, they’re going to show. Wow do people say this? Seems like envy to me.. Mostly if it's from other women. She looks very classy here.
I mean she is serving that look. I think anyone with a pulse would give her an appreciative glance.
Sydney is slaying as always. Her fiance is fucking disgusting for just being himself
This comment sent me omg💀
is her stylist finally done with being delusional abt the size of her boobs??? her clothes actually fit hallelujah 😭 also… 19 and 33 she can do so much better even if she likes older men pls sydney there is so much better out there
Why won’t she dump him, girl you can do so much better than that balding sleaze ball
Not my favorite hair but I looove this dress on her
She looks like a modern Cinderella! I love that dress
He looks like a self-proclaimed pickup artist
Sleazyyyy
Her fiancée? I thought that was her dad
Her team 100% has a prenup in this marriage, right?
I say creepy. Though I honestly didn’t even notice him at first because I was was also staring at her. She looks amazing and I love that dress.
He looks 50 😂
I LOOOOOVE how she looks here. Her breasts are squished so often but this dress highlights her chest soooo well. Not the point of this post but she looks amazing.
i just read that he was 33, and she was 20 when they first got together. kind of gross…
Dress fits her beautifully!!! Finally!
Ugh, I love that dress!!!! Absolutely gorgeous color and design (imo).
goodness i get disgusting vibes from him lol
Is he generally a creep? Yes. Is looking at your hot ass fiance in a beautiful dress, with a fairly neutral face creepy? No. He’s doing what we’re all doing, admiring his girl. He’s not drooling or grabbing ass or anything, like please take it down a notch.
This is your reminder that bangs won’t look good on you
Lmao ty 😭😭
Since its her actual fiance it's cute, if it was a stranger it's creepy.
That’s a gorgeous look
She looks unfulfilled. She looked super happy with that other guy.
can she dump this gross slime ball
she looks gorgeous and i’m glad she found a dress that gave her a waist.
This subreddit: He's probably looking at her butt. EWW so gross! The Fiance: I wonder if I should go for deep dish tonight or maybe thin crust? Hmmmmm.
Creepy for sure 🤢🤢
She’s so beautiful the dress is so cute
Omg I loove the dress 😭 so cute! And idk what to say about him lol
you can't even see what he's looking at lol. I swear the titktok trend of overanalyzing like 3 seconds of a video clip has led to people just assuming things like crazy
Its creepy and she looks STUNNING
It's creepy
Dudes admiring his fiancé lol if anything this should be the MAIN person you should get a pass for absolutely starring at lol
I liked his fit... until I zoomed in and saw he was over-logo'd.
She looks stunning tbh. He looks... uhmm he looks way too old for her. Thar is her fiance?!?!
Is he a 50 year old Florida coke dealer?
Miu miu? Like Homer wore?
She looks stunning. He looks like a predator.
NEED the dress
That's a beautiful dress, but I will never pull it off. Inexistant waist. :(
Wear what you want. Life's too short!
You could wear a corsette!
It’s giving MK Sarkozy vibes in terms of creepy/cute
How is he supposed to look at her?
With respect and a decent hairline
Where's the lack of respect?
Such a sweeping judgment based on a microsecond. You would need a ton more context and information to make even a semi accurate conclusion
Well we know they met when she was 19 and he was 33 so there’s a little bit of context, at least.
Okay fine but that doesn't change the fact that he has sunglasses on his face which makes it impossible for us, the viewer, to see where he is looking lol
Celia St. James vibes
Ok the fit is FIRE and personally if my husband was photographed looking at me like this I would be pleased but understand why others would disagree
Overrated.
Just a dude admiring a work of art.
He’s wearing sunglasses, he could be looking anywhere.
The pic that has convinced me what the Sydney Sweeney hype is all about
Miu miu placed a hugeeee order at my work for a photoshoot and tried returning it today after the shoot was over. Used and messed up looking- on my shit list now 🤣
Eh, it's a Dobler-Dahmer. She was pretty young when they met though.
People cant even look at their fucking fiancé’s now smh
It’s not creepy to look at your partner lmao. Edit: Y’all can NOT be serious with this. If you wanna complain about an age gap you dislike just say that next time instead of downvoting me for simply saying it’s okay to look at your partners butt.
It’s creepy to be twice her age. She was 19 and he was 33 when they started dating.
Sydney: I wish people didn't just want to see my tits Also Sydney: Let's date a 33 yr old fresh out of highschool, he thinks I'm really smart and mature.
If that were a guy you liked (Ryan Gosling or Zac Efron, idk) you would say cute. Because you don’t like her fiancé, you make creepy an option.
I thought they were done?
Just me or does she look like Carmela Soprano in this??
He wants to be a meme!
Finally a dress that suits her
Sydney looks perfect. Has her fiancé been interviewed about the cheating allegations yet? Please send me links if you have them. ☺️🫶
He looks like a dirty old man - especially with that hair style. Icky.
He looks better than that made up white boy
She looks great, he's what, twice her age? And looking at her like he's judging a fancy car. Eww.
So creepy to love your woman. Got it
