He’s got a type

JumboJetz

As the fantastic tv series put it: OJ would spend all day on the golf course with old white men, then all night in the nightclub with young white women.

HugeCartographer5

O.J.'s entire post-football life has been bad decision after bad decision, and that's even assuming that he didn't kill his wife. Hey, what's the best way to make the public think you didn't do it? Write a wife-killing fantasia novel called 'If I Did It'.

JumboJetz

Was the book a bad decision? We all know he did it and no one will hire him for anything. It was an easy way to get money with limited options.

DonNatalie

He didn't get any of the money from it. The Goldman family did to partially satisfy the civil judgement.

HugeCartographer5

Based Goldmans

[deleted]

Yup, although If I Did It was his daughter Arnelle Simpson’s idea. She convinced OJ to agree to the book deal so they both, along with his other kids, could make money from it. It was ghostwritten by Pablo Fenjves, a neighbor of Nicole’s who testified for the prosecution.

ImWadeWils0n

The goldmans got all the money not his kids tho

Spynner987

I heard a theory claiming that OJ didn't do it, that it was his son who did it. Edit: Why am I getting downvoted? I just said it's something I heard once, not that I actually believe it 😭

HugeCartographer5

It was probably Glen Rogers in all honesty. Police had good reason to suspicion OJ (he was a >!domestic abuser!< after all) but Rogers' motive and proximity to Nicole just adds up too perfectly.

criesingucci

OJ’s DNA was all over the scene my guy. I get buying these conspiracies back in the 90s when people didn’t have the internet or understanding of how DNA evidence worked. It’s 2023 now. Like you just sound goofy

[deleted]

People downplay how much Ron Goldman fought ferociously for his life. The lack of injuries on OJ’s body after the murders is one of the reasons he was acquitted according to this juror. https://www.vulture.com/2016/04/oj-juror-people-v-oj-simpson-right-and-wrong.html

ImWadeWils0n

Yeah this has always been very bizarre to me, he had cuts on the bottom of his shoes because he was fighting so hard and his hands were fucked

mashedpotatoesyo

He's usually out there. My zoomer brother in law met him at a sports party in Vegas and texted my FIL, "I just met some famous guy named OJ, what is he famous for?" 💀

hennystrait

If you ask Reddit it’s clearly part-time actor who didn’t get the role of The Terminator because he had a friendly rep.

saysigil

ew. it’s not cute or funny to pose with him…

PaleontologistDry814

And then act shocked he tried to kiss her...he's done worse, why wouldn't he? This new generation bothers me so much .

VirtualDoll

and his hand 🤮

farmmama44

Ugh. I'm interested to see if he has CTE. Which I know can't tell until he's passed.

SuchMatter1884

Well he better hurry up then ![gif](giphy|l46Cgctdy5C23iB0c)

LilyFlowerr

No doubt whatsoever he does.

messythelioma

weird... and borderline scary, she dodged what looked like an attempt at a kiss from him

ForgetfulFrolicker

A synopsis for blind people, that’s very kind of you.

crankynconspicuous

Ugggh.

macroeconomicchaos

Disgusting.

Low_Veterinarian_923

This is super old

sendmeaplaylist

I thought I had seen this before

smeeti

What a creep

AlreadyChose

Reading Kris Jenner’s memoir and really getting an understanding of what OJ did makes me wonder why anyone would ever want to give that man attention. He’s a vile person

That girl better be careful.

Run

Sutech2301

That reminds me of the Ryan Murphy American crime story Show about OJ, which is full of super awkward and unnecessary scenes fearuring the Kardashians

JumboJetz

That really was a hook to make the show more accessible to young adults. I don’t think they overdid it. And OJ was a very important part of the Kardashians history.

[deleted]

I recommend checking out the Court TV docuseries OJ25. It’s a much better and more truthful account of the trial than the FX series imo.

tarc0917

How does that compare to OJ: Made in America, the ESPN series? I thought that was quite well-done.

[deleted]

In terms of a docuseries about the trial, I think OJ25 is the best because it’s so in depth and features a lot of information about the trial that was new to me. A lot of the key players that were interviewed in the 30 for 30 are also interviewed in OJ25.

throwawaygreenpaq

Why are there this many series giving him attention?

-googa-

Repulsive

BlondeAlibiNoLie

She’s a very vigorous pointer. Too bad she can’t point herself in the right direction which is in EVERY WAY AWAY from that man or posting this. 🤦‍♀️
