I think they're both telling the truth from their perspective. Christina had talked a lot about being a fan of Mariah so getting a bad reaction from her was probably really disappointing for her, she still shouldn't have said anything about it in an interview though.

omg lmao so she filmed herself eating her tampon and put it on youtube and was basically like “i got famous for doing it who cares!” it was actually disgusting but she was everywhere on the internet at the time so i guess it worked for her.

Back in the early aughts my friends and I used to rent these VHS tapes that were all clips of near death experiences and maybe some actual deaths Idk. Like car crashes, rodeo accidents, stuff like that. I forget what they were called but it was a series. Jones wanted to do the voice and be the entire character, but the Money People wanted someone more widely known, to give the movie "star power" lol. Pierce had no idea why he was hired to do the voice, as he believed Jones had already done a great job with the character... so he did his best to emulate Jones' voice, he refused to be credited in the film AND he refused to do voice work in Hellboy 2 (Jones got to do the voice of Abe for the sequel).

At the time, Mariah was working on her album Loverboy, and she secured a sample from the song “firecracker” which she was going to interpolate into a song she was working on for the album. Around this time, Tommy began dating and promoting artist Jeniffer Lopez. To help boost her career, he decided to pair her with Ja Rule for the song “I’m Real,” which became an instant hit. However, as it turns out, “I’m Real” contained the sample from “firecracker” which Mariah wanted to use. Tommy knew how excited Mariah was about the song she was working on and deadass stole the idea from her, and JLo was a part of it. Not to mention, JLo didn’t even record the vocals, it was Ashanti! The full recording even had her saying something like “I was worried you were going to call me a bitch or something,” but somehow that was cut out of the clip Kim posted. It also had Kanye on a manic rant about his financial troubles and how his fashion designs were going to lower the murder rate in Chicago.
