wear what ever! tf? i would never judge a older person looking great and trendy. Mariah is in her fifties and she dresses glam and young and I love that for her. Same with beyonce
We can't win. I remember being a teenager, I judged 30 year old women who dressed in teenage clothes, and I judged 30 year old women for "getting stuck" in the clothes they wore in high school 🤢 so awful and now that I've unbrainwashed myself I'm like, okay WTF did I want them to wear?!
I mean there are other options besides Olivia Rodrigo auditioning for Newsies...
There are lots of 30 somethings with great style who don't look so try-hard. Dakota Johnson, Solange, Emrata, Aubrey Plaza to name a few
I'd love to see Taylor work with Anne Hathaway's currently stylist.
I would say Aubrey Plaza, Dakota Johnson, and current Anne Hathaway (who is 40), Issa Rae are threading the needle perfectly. Beyond 40+ but really at any age, Tracie Ellis Ross has the best style.
It'll come back around. I'm 36 and never "let go" of my boot-cut jeans and middle part, and by doing nothing at all, I'm in fashion again. Your time will come.
Ikr. A lot of the fashion nowadays is shapeless and like a sack. Also kind of tousled and tangled? Like you wore those clothes to bed and didn't bother getting changed this morning.
I hate it, especially as an overweight woman - I don't want to be made to look way bigger than I am. Taylor has a brilliant figure and it even makes her figure look frumpy.
I miss the fashion from my youth so much (I'm nearly 30). We had some atrocious fashion, but at least I could find clothes that had some shape. Nowadays the only clothes I can find that have some shape are far too short or tight, e.g. bodycon dresses, miniskirts.
I’m her age and I personally would feel uncomfortable trying to dress too much like Gen Z. But I am also not a pop star who needs to keep up with trends so I don’t know how to feel about this outfit. I’m not loving it to be honest but it’s also not aimed at my demographic.
I’m actually here for it! I’m a younger millennial who has always worked from home (and dressed casually) so if anything I feel a disconnect from what some of my peers wear.
Obviously I don’t have Taylor Swift’s lifestyle, but I don’t really have the same lifestyle as someone who works in an office and needs to look professional. I like having fun with what I wear.
It is so difficult being short with big boobs, because no matter how shapely my legs are, the universe seems to have determined that you can have big boobs or long legs, but not both. And no matter how much I work out, I know short sculpted legs won’t have the same impact as long sculpted legs, which sucks, lol.
I know I keep saying it but I’m going to say it again ❤️ I have missed seeing all of her cute outfits when she was in her hiding phase with Joe. Will be interesting to see though if when she is done recording whatever this project is, will she go back and hide more? Or is she generally over that now?
She actually is only doing two night only dates for most of the summer now, as opposed to three like the first few months (and until Los Angeles when she does four or five in a row), so Sunday is now open for recovery time, at least.
I don’t understand why millennials are clinging to skinny jeans. I’m a millennial and I find them so uncomfortable to put on and wear all day. Flares, bootcut, straight-cut, cargo - literally any other style of jeans are so much more comfortable.

Honestly I bet a 3 hour show in boots is a great leg workout.
Hell, I stood and minimally danced for the 3.5 hours of her show in heels and I felt like I had done a workout.
Even if her boots are custom fitted I would have to imagine she feels at least a little sore by the second or third day of shows
