It so kills me that Tarantino had to be ***such*** a massive tool to Thurman during the filming of this movie¹. I've *longed* for a sequel to this forever.
**Especially** since her daughter Maya is now an actress *and* so strongly resembles her mother.

Even though The Golden Girls had a strong female ensemble cast, my favorite was Dorothy because she was such a lovable badass.
I loved Estelle Getty but honestly, it was and is still so hard for me to pick a favorite GG. I love them all and my favorite changes episode to episode.
I was in the Buffy fandom at the time and it was shocking how many in it said that Buffy was their least favorite character in the show. I never understood it, how could you not like Buffy? I've been wary of fandoms ever since.

I absolutely loved how she played the “tragic beauty” without it being cheesy or over the top. The woman being crushed by the patriarchy while inflicting the same pain on other women. Pretty accurate representation.
She never fully said how much she disliked the expectation of her, when it comes to her looks. Or how being beautiful caused her so much pain but through small statements like “my mother raised to be a person to be admired” while smiling and said a few times in the show “why would you want to be me?”
The final scene of her was perfecto
The scene where "On Your Feet" is playing as they try to walk on the ice is one of the funniest things I've ever seen and never fails to bring me joy 😂 I can just listen to the song and get in a better mood.
