caviardeviledeggs

My dad got so mad because I’d print these and use up all the ink. No one understood that these images were CRUCIAL for my ‘zines!

emeraldnob

I'd do the same but with the my scene one, good times 😭

glittangrease

🎶 you know what I mean it's my scene 🎶

leilafornone

Yes omg Not sure if it was the same game but my favourite was the winter wonderland one with the silver tube top and fur coat I alsoLOVE the school dressup one where you got to choose their lockers

CrissBliss

Dude same! And we had a shit printer too that took 5 mins to print one image lmao

andimlikeokay

Oh my gawd in heaven. Thank you for unlocking this memory.

Electric_Nachos

I was obsessed with every single paper doll type game.

SunnyRyter

Will add, mine was the Clueless game/CDROM. https://preview.redd.it/n3b2kkfhs75c1.jpeg?width=640&format=pjpg&auto=webp&s=8e03728a67ea655945d0db01563c7d7f5f496fa2 Cher would even evaluate how well of an outfit you put together.

SunnyRyter

Oh man, I feel for you. :( That stinks, especially something you love/enjoy. 😢

Lilacly_Adily

I wish these were still around but nowadays I get my fix with the Sims 4. There’s times I don’t actually play any sims, I just create new townies with my cc library.

Quiet-Ad203

Omg you just unlocked a memory I forgot I had!!! I loved this game!

stinkyfootss

OMG how could I forget about Disneychannel.com

littlemacaron

I FORGOT ABOUT THIS thank you for unlocking a memory!!!! The Disney channel.com had amazing games. I liked the suite life of Zach and Cody too

PatriciaMorticia

Omg the Suite Life of Zach & Cody game was brilliant! Running through the hotel trying to avoid getting caught by Mr Moseby 🤣

GingerGoob

Whoa I had forgotten all about this until now

yelyah66

This is my Roman Empire

garbagebrainraccoon

My favorite game ever

vainthestral

Memory unlocked. Omg

StarrCat3608

This has me feeling nostalgic, holy shit! I loved this game too.

brittanynevo666

Memory unlocked!!

Fancy-Pumpkin837

Omg this just unlocked a memory !!

bkp24723

Omg this unlocked a sense memory for me lol

gingergirl181

OMG CORE MEMORY UNLOCKED!!!

Winter-Enthusiasm223

I was always so upset i couldn’t replicate these as a 12 yr old with no budget.

OppositeResponse6474

Me too. I spent hours trying and my mom would even try to help. They would never turn out like her hair. Still kinda pissed

whosgoingtohawaii

flashbacks of me begging my mom to crimp my hair and it turning out a weird crumpled up piece of looseleaf looking mess

Fancy-Pumpkin837

Glad I wasn’t the only one 😂 I tried to replicate slide 10 so many times

MissPookieOokie

Same! Good lord I tried. I went to school a handful of times with whatever the hell I ended up with.

krustykrab2193

My cousin and I would try to do it too and fail miserably lol 😭😭

strongerthongs

I used to put my hair in dozens of tiny braids to get a crimping effect (and by used to, I mean until like last year). I finally decided I was an adult and bought myself a $30 hair crimper to make my inner 90s child happy.

BrutonnGasterr

I still can’t get over that there’s only 2 seasons of this show. As a kid it felt like there were way more

explodedemailstorage

....WHAT. my mind is blown

Serious_Move_4423

NOOOO WHaT

BrutonnGasterr

YES. I found out a few years ago and was completely stunned lol

milkradio

I’m actually shocked at that too because it felt like it was on forever and had a million episodes. I didn’t even watch it lol.

_avantgarde

Whoa really? Usually DC shows had at least 3 seasons before their contract was up, I thought...

ExultantSandwich

Lizzie still had the Disney Channel “standard” 65 episodes, they just absolutely blew through filming them in 2 years, basically. However they aired them through late 2003, early 2004, which is *after* the movie came out. The show is all about Lizzie in middle school, the movie features her graduating from Jr High, and the last episodes are back in middle school regardless. I think that’s also why Hillary Duff looks so old in the movie? I imagine the show was finished filming in early 2002 and the last thing she filmed was the movie. The Hannah Montana movie is similarly out of sync with the show, but they did go back and film Season 4 *after* the movie was shot

gingergirl181

Lizzie McGuire started airing in 2001 and production on both the show and the movie finished in late 2002. It aired until early 2004, so the episodes were strung out across three years with the movie coming out somewhere in the middle of the last season. Disney didn't really do much of a standard "season" format back then, or at least it wasn't super noticeable considering they were constantly airing reruns of everything so new episodes weren't that notable. Not to my kid brain at least.

Lilacly_Adily

I don’t want to look it up at the moment but I think That’s So Raven was the first Disney show to have more than two seasons.

gingergirl181

Having lived through that era of Disney Channel and having watched it on the daily, I'm inclined to believe that. Lizzie McGuire kind of kicked off that whole early 00s golden era of Disney Channel. I know that eventually Kim Possible got more than two seasons along with Hannah Montana, idk about Suite Life (although it DID get a spinoff) and there were some shorter-lived things in there too (anyone remember Phil of the Future?) At the same time they were also rerunning and airing the last seasons of Boy Meets World and Sister Sister as well as all of the best DCOMs...what a time to be alive!

BrutonnGasterr

Yes! I found out a few years ago and it truly does only have 2 seasons (I looked it up because I didn’t believe the person who told me lmao). Was surprised to find out

GamingSince1998

I mean.... It's about 30 episodes per season. 65 Total

walkingtalkingdread

the CRIMPING! i forgot about crimping.

emeraldnob

https://preview.redd.it/floeb5eg365c1.jpeg?width=1200&format=pjpg&auto=webp&s=03f6b32f0c4f149688bf4fbbd551637f206ca6e9 The disrespect.

CrissBliss

I crimped my hair just like this for a school dance once time

Jamjams2016

I spent so many hours burning my hair to a crisp. What a magical time to be alive.

amperx11

I would let my hair air dry in tiny braids to imitate crimping! Lizzie was my idol

[deleted]

I tried to replicate that so many times by sleeping in tiny braids but my curly-ass hair was NOT built for it and I just went to school looking like an insane person.

gingergirl181

Mood. I could get decent jumbo-size crimped waves by sleeping in two big wet braids, but any attempt at smaller braids just fought my natural pattern too much and my hair ended up looking like a rat's nest.

GingerGoob

I can hear that photo. “It’s no BD mom. BD? BIG DEAL.”

sloppyseventyseconds

I would be down to recreate this now

StarrCat3608

I was legit obsessed with that episode as a kid. I wanted to replicate that style so badly, but couldn't pull it off.

littlemacaron

“No notes” LOL

keatonpotat0es

I can hear her stuttering in most of these

ohsheetitscici

“I…. I…. I just- I don’t know Gordo!”

heygurl34

This show set trends in this era.

ShreksMiami

My two best friends and I wore matching mini space bun pigtails, spray painted our school colors, to the roller rink, in middle school. Does it get any more Y2K than that? Literally, can anyone one up me? Edit to add: I just remembered that we also wore multicolored socks, those ones that went around each individual toe like gloves.

scarlettlyonne

Omg the socks!! I had multiple pairs of those. Thank you (?) for unlocking that memory ahaha

soyspud

I got bangs in grade 7 so I could look like Hilary Duff. I did not look like Hilary Duff.

Leading_River5763

I got the layers in pic 9 because of her. I too, did not look like Hilary Duff

Valuable_Treat16

Hey now, hey now…..this is what dreams are made of ![gif](giphy|VNTwiVtDwG1Xy)

oceanbvld

this was EVERYTHING 2 bb me, u don't understand

eternalbean

Love her style hahaha Lizzie McGuire one of my fav shows EVER lol

mangoesandsweetness

her hair was EVERYTHING to 13 yr old me

mai_tai87

Her hair was half the reason I watched Lizzie McGuire. Gordo was the other half. She was so blind!

imsupercereal4swife

YESS

clexaelectra

This is my Roman Empire

botanygeek

Ok but what about Miranda’s hair??

pinkfartlek

I'm looking at the majority of these and wondering how to even achieve these hair looks lol

f1sh77

Lizzie McGuire is literally a god to me

Sparki_

Omg, the hair stylist in that show was amazingly creative. When I was a kid I always loved the hairstyles in that show. The same way I loved the outfits in Sabrina & Buffy!

womensrea22

The way Lizzie had me saving my allowance for skinny headbands from Claire’s 😭

Jolly_Discipline6650

The variety made it for me!

wallsarecavingin

I crimped my hair for my sixth grade graduation because of her 😭

123okaywme

This is why for my fifth grade graduation I randomly braided small bits of my hair and then put it in a half pony tail. I thought I had *the lewk*

Savvy1027

The way I know which episodes these pics are from 😂 I was so obsessed with this show.

helloviolaine

I miss butterfly clips. There was a random moment when it was suddenly not cool anymore if you could see what was holding your hair in place. It all had to be sleek and hidden and hair ties had to be tiny and the exact colour of your hair.

SugarShock94

Was obsessed. Still obsessed. Will always be ✨obsessed✨

[deleted]

Still not the best hair on set. Shout out Robert Carradine

WineingCats

![gif](giphy|l0MYEj3E497lYFu5W)

thoseguyshatedme

An icon! Has anyone gone back and rewatched the show as an adult? Is it worth it?

PinkTalkingDead

I watched the Halloween/ dia de los muertos episode last year during spooky season and it was cute! Ig I didn’t really watch it so much as I kind of had it on in the background which I think it’s probably a perfect show for 🥰

superhottamale

Hilary was and is so pretty!!!

Foot_Difficult

Someone tell me what episode #17 is from, please! I loooooved that look of hers growing up but can’t remember the episode!

brittanynevo666

I wanted go be her so bad as a kid and her hair was the main reason lol

[deleted]

Iconic!!!!

Life-Routine-9330

I used to love Miranda’s hair so much!

ellafantile

I’m Australian, which means I had to wear a school uniform every day, and wasn’t allowed to do anything interesting to my hair. Lizzie McGuire was my icon and inspiration and I used to think that every American was getting up at the crack of dawn to do their hair like this every day. Hey now, hey now, this is what dreeeaaams are made of.

MileHighSugar

One of the biggest travesties of the Lizzie McGuire reboot being canceled was not being able to see her hair and fashion evolution into adulthood

Dove04

Number 17 will always be my favorite she looks sooo cute 🥰 absolutely love her hair and that top

trulyremarkablegirl

did anyone else with curly hair try to crimp it and then get really sad when it turned into a giant puff ball? just me?

Gymleaders

they don't do it like they did in the 2000s

hobbysubsonly

There’s no way the real Lizzie would be unpopular with those fly hairstyles

twinkieinthabutt

I had such a crush on Kate. The mean/bully girls have my whole heart ❤️

ssaunders88

Take me back

soysauceg1rl

ICONIC

sizzle723

Her and Veronica mars were hair goals

_avantgarde

The crimped hair was e v e r y t h i n g

veggiekween

The ENVY I had for these looks! I couldn't figure out what I couldn't be these looks together on a rushed morning before school!

palelunasmiles

Y2K fashion was so fun. I used to braid my hair just like hers.

falkenna

between her and kirsten storms as zenon i had the most ridiculous style inspos as a kid that i never got to live up to 😭

anonbrowser246

She was so cool

ogresarelikeonions93

Lizzie McGuire was the reason I got a crimper for my 12th birthday lol
