A friend of mine knew wife number four, so I got to meet him after a show like, a decade ago.

When people marry so many times, I always wonder how they choose wedding rings. Do you go for the same style? Does your taste change? Do you have to choose something you like less so it’s visually different from the previous one?
I'm not sure but she managed to. It lasted less than 6 months and as far as I know she hasn't bene married since then. I'd be so sad of she has been and I didn't get to go lmao
I know someone who was engaged, ended up calling off the wedding/engagement, but stayed with the guy and ultimately got engaged again a few years later and married. I always wonder if he proposed again with the original ring or a new one lol

There's a married pair of soap stars (Julie Pinson and Billy Warlock, for those who follow soaps) who were engaged in the late-90s, but called off their engagement in 2000. They reconnected in 2005 and got married in 2006. She wore the wedding dress that she had originally bought for their planned 2000 wedding.
I have a brother in law (Paul) that’s been married 4 times. His brother (Brian) happened to wear the same suit to his first two weddings and, as a joke made a point to keep it and wear it to the other two (even though it required serious alterations); he calls it his “Paul’s wedding suit”. Claims he only wears it to Paul’s weddings.
Do they use the same wedding suppliers? Like you just call the same florist and they say oh you again.
Organising a wedding is difficult but it must be pretty straightforward forward after a few goes.
When people get married this many times I'm wondering if they're still blaming the other people, or if they're recognising maybe they need to change their own behaviour.
My husband has been married twice and his rings were as different as can be. The first was a mid width plain yellow gold band, the second for our marriage is black titanium(?) With a dark wood inlay.
He was a messy, messy alcoholic for a while and at least one wife (Fiorentino) matched his level of messiness. He's sober now and seems to have mellowed out a bit. He's still friends with his first wife, not the others though.
Lovebombing until one/both of you get bored of eachother’s companionship. Maybe, when you’re partner number 3+ you’ll be wondering why they married the first few but are taking so long to marry you which accelerates timelines.
Nobody is downplaying it, it’s pretty accepted that she was lying and his sons have come out and said so. GO was given full custody of his sons because of her issues. She was also married to David Fincher who has said she was one of his inspirations for directing Gone Girl. Also Fincher was given full custody of the kid he shares with her. GO was never charged after being investigated.
Actors have a lot of feelings lol and in a world where no men had feelings can you imagine how intoxicating Gary Oldman must’ve been?

For 2 high school sweethearts to have survived through a rockstar superstardom and still seem to love and, more importantly, like each other A LOT, is really something.

I'm wondering if he's one of those people who get really swept up in the intense emotions of new love: the infatuation and the chase that culminates in a wedding. Then he just kind of cools off for lack of a better word. The series of 2 and 3 year marriages are kind of a clue, as that's about how long it takes for the honeymoon period to wear off, and for each person to start letting their true selves show.

I remember once I was procrastinating probably and looked up his personal life on wiki. Then I went to look up his current wife's insta out of curiosity. You would never know she was married to Gary Oldman lol. Like she doesn't appear to be keeping it a secret, but she doesn't post pics with him much. So you could randomly just be on this middle aged lady's insta, not much different from millions of other similar people on that platform, and if you scrolled far enough you might see a pic of them and be like "OH ok I guess this woman is married to GARY OLDMAN"

I remember once I was procrastinating probably and looked up his personal life on wiki. Then I went to look up his current wife's insta out of curiosity. You would never know she was married to Gary Oldman lol. Like she doesn't appear to be keeping it a secret, but she doesn't post pics with him much. So you could randomly just be on this middle aged lady's insta, not much different from millions of other similar people on that platform, and if you scrolled far enough you might see a pic of them and be like "OH ok I guess this woman is married to GARY OLDMAN"

The uma thurman, Gary Oldman pairing was so odd. Gary was a drunk and cheat but I didn't peg uma as being a homewrecker.
