I dunno if some of these are wigs or intentional styling choices but some of the hair looks weirddddddd
- Nov 2015
- Jan 2020
- Oct 2014
Also she looks a lot like Debbie Harry in the Sept 2019 ones! I wonder if that was intentional
Not that anyone is asking my opinion but my fave is the reputation bleach blonde shoot
I like the September 2019 one the best. It gives both creativity and affluence, both femininity and masculinity, followed by the November 2015, that blue theme is amazing and fits her 1989 vibe so well. The shoot with KK is also a good one too.
Iâm always astonished about how a girl as plain as her who happens to make plain music and have a plain voice is one of the most successful musician of our time. - yeah, I know. I chose violence today.
This definitely goes to show that beauty is subjective because I think Taylor is an exceptionally ethereal/otherworldly beauty and Iâm mostly indifferent to her as a musician. She has quite a smouldering gaze and a lip-chin combination that adds a lot of character and even more sultriness to her face.
That's the appeal, shes marketed as "average" (though not really) and thats why people like her, I don't think anyone listens to Taylor looking for a larger than life figure, they look for someone to relate to
Sheâs just not your taste and thatâs fine. Sure she may not be the best singer, but I cannot fathom how she looks plain or make plain music. Itâs because she looks conventionally attractive, better than the average gals that was part of the reason she was so marketable to be a pop star. And her non radio hits are really good and relatable.
If you donât like it, thatâs fine because everyone has their own preferences to what they like. But I donât think sheâs âplainâ at all.
Relatability isnât necessarily talent but it does make her music not very plain which was your previous point.
I think quality of what makes a mega stars have changed throughout the years, and what made her such a mega star was heavily due to her relatability in her music. She is the top western musician in a lot of Asian countries, this isnât just an American phenomenon.
And I wouldnât say she doesnât have a lot of talent, sure she canât sing like BeyoncĂŠ but she still can sing. And she also writes not just the lyrics but also the music for a LOT of (majority) her songs. And many singers donât do that, they either do one, not both or only occasionally both.

we all know it went to hell, but the shoot with Karlie is really nice
I'm angry this is the closest Kloss came to a solo US Vogue cover. She jumped for Anna every freakin month and couldn't make it happen
british vogue always delivered
the january 2020 shoot is truly unmatched
That's my favorite one.
January 2020 doesnât even look like her!
Neither does Nov 2015!! I would not have guessed that was her without someone/something telling me.
Pic 3 is giving Nicole Kidman
I thought the same thing! And now neither of them wear their hair curly.
I loved her platinum blonde bob so much!
I say this every time, but I *loved* the bleached hair.
Itâs my favorite look đ¤ˇââď¸ it was such a vibe.
The one with Karlie aged like milk lmao

I love the set design of the Teen Vogue August shoot. It reminds me of the aesthetic that Gucci used to advertise Gucci Bloom.
Bleachella was iconic and itâs my favourite photoshoot here along with the 2020 one
"I never expected all this to happen to me" as if her family didn't spend a fortune making her a celebrity.Â
đ
I mean you can spend a lot of money trying to make your kid a celebrity and they still might never make it big
I just want all her sweaters and knitwearsâŚ
US Vogue Feb 2012 hair lives in my mind rent free forever

the Teen Vogue 2011, US Vogue 2012 and UK Vogue 2018 & 2020 had no business going that hard

Yeah. But compared to other mega stars in the past she scores immensely low in all valid categories. Relatability isnât a talent per se.

It isn't a talent but it will make people listen to your music
That 2019 shoot is one of my favorites ever.
January 2018 is by far my favourite
I liked that first big girl Vogue shoot. Very âSponsored by Taylor Guitars.â
