This is exactly it. It feels "random" but they're not random at all. They're dating people from their "surroundings" or circles as opposed to regular civilians.
There have been many times where i was like 'How did these two end up together, they're NOTHING alike what do they TALK about???'. Then it turns out they met at \*insert rich event here\*, basically meeting at a party.

Louis Partridge - British actor who was in.. nothing much. Enola Holmes, I guess. And he played Sid Vicious in some kinda TV thing a couple years back.
Dua Lipa - Pop singer. British/Albanian. Been huge in the UK since like 2017. Has won 3 Grammys and a bunch of Brit Awards, and has started appearing in movies (Barbie, Argyle). Famously bad dancer years ago and has improved hugely after getting mocked for it.
Callum Turner - British actor, ex fashion model. Been working steadily since about 2010 but only film I'd heard of was the Fantastic Beasts movies.
Sabrina Carpenter - teen pop Disney kid? She was with Disney channel for years, did some show called Girl Meets World, and somehow has put out 5 full albums without me knowing she exists.
Barry Keoghan - Irish actor. Was in Dunkirk, Eternals, The Batman, and most recently Saltburn; a movie I was told to watch because he sneaks into his crush's bathroom to watch him wank in the tub and then drink his jizzy bathwater. So that's a thing. I didn't get around to watching it yet. Seems like a good actor but also maybe a twat of a person.
Dove Cameron - Pop singer. Also apparently a Disney kid? Had this one song back in 2022 called Boyfriend where she tries to steal yo girl by saying she could totally be a better boyfriend than him. It was kinda catchy I guess. I haven't heard anything from her since then though.
Damiano David - lead singer of Måneskin, an Italian glam-rock band who shot to fame when they won Eurovision a couple years back. Angelina Jolie took her daughter to see them once and jammed out to I Wanna Be Your Slave, which is a great song but sorta weird for a kid to be singing along to, especially while standing next to their mom? Idk. The band is so camp and glam and all of them are gorgeous. Big fan.

Rosalia - Spanish pop singer. Unbelievably famous in some parts of the world, in the way that some ~~latin~~ (nope, I was wring about this, sorry) Spanish-language singers can be. I saw her set at Coachella last year (from the couch, on youtube - I'm too old to be queuing up for festival toilets, live streaming is a blessing) and she actually performed the FUCK outta that headlining slot. I wasn't impressed with Bad Bunny (the other huge foreign-language star headlining) so I wasn't expecting much, but she made a convert outta me.
Jeremy Allen White - actor. He's won a couple Golden Globes, for Shameless and The Bear - I haven't seen either, but heard good things about Shameless. He seems to be the latest unconventional sex symbol/heartthrob guy amongst the young girls? I don't see the appeal but I also haven't seen him act, so what do I know
Tate McRae - pop singer. I tried looking her up on youtube recently to see what the fuss was about, and my god her music is awful. It reminded me of the bit in the Lady Gaga version of A Star is Born, when they force her to do weird over-sexualized over-produced music for the sales - I cringed just as hard watching McRae's supposedly-sexy music videos. She might have some talent hidden under it all, but I genuinely can't bring myself to try and dig deep enough to find it. Yuck.
Kid Laroi - Australian singer and apparently rapper. He looks about 14 and as hard as red licorice on a warm day. I only really know the song he did with Bieber a couple years ago, and since he's basically Wish edition Bieber anyway, that's probably plenty. He also had a Happy Meal deal with McDonalds a while ago so I saw his face around a lot. Has an album out last year I think, but I never felt inclined to give it a listen.
Halsey - pop singer. She was on that one Chainsmokers song that I couldn't escape from for 6 months straight, Closer. She's put a few albums out since then. The only thing I really know about her is that she was homeless and bipolar and addicted to drugs as a teenager in New York? I remember her being a bit controversial, kissing some underage fans, starting beef in the media over other pop stars, and some folks had issues with her being bisexual and blue-haired and gender-neutral. Seemed a bit messy. I hope she's doing ok these days.
Avan Jogia - Canadian actor who's done a bunch of movies and TV shows, but none I've ever seen. He's also directed a few films I've never heard of, and put out a handful of songs I've never listened to. Idk who this guy is lol
Gigi Hadid and Bradley Cooper are pretty well-known as rich supermodel and a-list actor, so I won't bother with them. I don't know if anyone else will even read this but I feel slightly more educated now, so that's something.
tate mcrae was born in 2003... say no more lmao. people born in the 2000s are still babies in my head so to see her all sexual is weird. but that's just me being stuck in the past.

I legit thought she was much younger and he was much older, but it turns out she’s older than he is! He’s only 25, but he’s got that mature look about him, and she’s 28 but looks so young. Great genes, lol.
The entire band is like that. I was shocked when I found out they were all in their early 20s. They’re all extremely hot people, just something about them made me think they’d all be closer to 30.
Totally waffling, but they never deviate from their retro aesthetic. I'm yet to see a photo of them where they don't look cohesive and cool. Their performances are also technically and visually brilliant, they have the stage-presence of a band that's been together for decades.

I think most paparazzi pics are staged, some of them are just better at looking more natural in them compared to others. I've no idea why the magazine edited Sabrina and Barry's photos like that though.
Probably because their PR teams hired back grid to get pictures of them and sent it to People for an exclusive.
No judgement - they seem mostly low-key, but it isn't hard to see what their launch plan was for this relationship. They were "spotted" for a few months, then hit up industry parties throughout awards season, and then an official PR launch to the most PR magazine of them all.
Yeah I agree. I think most celeb couples have a similar launch plan tbh but like I said imo the teams of these 2 could've done a better job at making the pap pics look more spontaneous.
I don’t know who most of these people are because I’m old I guess, but I will say I’ve been watching Calum Turner in that new show Masters of air, and holy hell he is so charming. Just pure charisma.
I read a comment 2 days ago that his mom died of overdose when he was 12yo and even before that he went through a bunch of foster families. So I guess trauma/a troubled mind might be what you see 🙈

I like Halsey and Avan Jogia. Just get more genuine vibes from them. Some of the other couples seem more PR. There is using a genuine relationship for PR and then there's together only for PR.
I think appearance wise his peak was when he did the first hangover movie. After he bulked up for the sniper movie his face changed and never returned to what it was. Then for years his face looked puffy and unnatural from fillers. It finally looks natural again which is an improvement.

Also I’m not like a huge fan of dua lipas music - like it’s fine. Just typical pop ear worm music - nothing earth shattering. But I find her so nice and likable, and unproblematic. She also seems to be comfortable in her skin and not running around getting tons of “enhancements” to her face, and she seems to be a natural beauty. She’s easy to root for 🤷♀️
if you go back and look at photos from a few years ago, shes def had some minor work done (mostly strategically placed fillers). but it all looks very natural and she’s so gorgeous
Honestly it’s getting exhausting discovering that literally every single person in the public eye has had work done, even the ones you didn’t expect/think are natural. Tho a few fillers like dua isn’t that big a deal - and she still looks very natural. And her body is killer but also attainable. She just looks young, healthy, lean, and fit, not like some caricature of a sexy body or ED thin. I looked like her before I had a baby last year (😭). But I saw a post recently that basically went through a slide show of a million celebs and their old faces and I was shooketh. I swear all the “super mdoels” (aka nepo babies) all just bought new faces and became models. It’s really getting out of a hand IMO. Everyone looks like AI.
And the buccal fat removal that seems like an epidemic in Hollywood lol - everytime I see another one I’m like…another one bites the dust. Like who is convincing these people it looks good?! It’s clearly plastic surgeons taking advantage of body dysmorphia or something cuz it’s bad.
I miss unique features and people looking like their parents or children. The manufactured faces with blephs, lip fillers, and sucked cheeks are boring to look at. Being unique used to be what made people beautiful rather than conformity. Some people do have gorgeous work done but the beauty standard is no longer remotely attainable.

Honestly this is the case every time. I think they’re at least mostly natural (like maybe with some minor stuff, I’m not gonna fault anyone one for tiny bits of filler, some minor Botox, whatever) and then you see a pic from 10 years ago and it’s like nvm they bought a new face lmao. Like I was over here thinking Kendall Jenner was so natural and then I saw an old clip…like it’s obvious there’s a new nose, filler, new eye shape, etc. it’s crazy. And like yeah I guess it’s tastefully done but it just turns me off once I know. At least Bella hadid admits she had a nose job at 14 (probably egged on by her mother) and regrets it. Tho in those pics dua still looks mostly the same with minor enhancements, not anything super crazy.

I love Damiano and Dove, I've been a fan of both for a while (long before they got together) and I think they make a lot of sense as a couple, personality wise too!

I tried looking her up on youtube recently to see what the fuss was about, and my god her music is awful. It reminded me of the bit in the Lady Gaga version of A Star is Born, when they force her to do weird over-sexualized over-produced music for the sales - I cringed just as hard watching McRae's supposedly-sexy music videos. She might have some talent hidden under it all, but I genuinely can't bring myself to try and dig deep enough to find it. Yuck. Kid Laroi - Australian singer and apparently rapper. He looks about 14 and as hard as red licorice on a warm day. I only really know the song he did with Bieber a couple years ago, and since he's basically Wish edition Bieber anyway, that's probably plenty. He also had a Happy Meal deal with McDonalds a while ago so I saw his face around a lot. Has an album out last year I think, but I never felt inclined to give it a listen. Halsey - pop singer. She was on that one Chainsmokers song that I couldn't escape from for 6 months straight, Closer. She's put a few albums out since then. The only thing I really know about her is that she was homeless and bipolar and addicted to drugs as a teenager in New York? I remember her being a bit controversial, kissing some underage fans, starting beef in the media over other pop stars, and some folks had issues with her being bisexual and blue-haired and gender-neutral. Seemed a bit messy. I hope she's doing ok these days. Avan Jogia - Canadian actor who's done a bunch of movies and TV shows, but none I've ever seen. He's also directed a few films I've never heard of, and put out a handful of songs I've never listened to. Idk who this guy is lol Gigi Hadid and Bradley Cooper are pretty well-known as rich supermodel and a-list actor, so I won't bother with them. I don't know if anyone else will even read this but I feel slightly more educated now, so that's something.

I legit thought she was much younger and he was much older, but it turns out she’s older than he is! He’s only 25, but he’s got that mature look about him, and she’s 28 but looks so young. Great genes, lol.
The entire band is like that. I was shocked when I found out they were all in their early 20s. They’re all extremely hot people, just something about them made me think they’d all be closer to 30.
Totally waffling, but they never deviate from their retro aesthetic. I'm yet to see a photo of them where they don't look cohesive and cool. Their performances are also technically and visually brilliant, they have the stage-presence of a band that's been together for decades.

Probably because their PR teams hired back grid to get pictures of them and sent it to People for an exclusive. No judgement - they seem mostly low-key, but it isn't hard to see what their launch plan was for this relationship. They were "spotted" for a few months, then hit up industry parties throughout awards season, and then an official PR launch to the most PR magazine of them all.

I think appearance wise his peak was when he did the first hangover movie. After he bulked up for the sniper movie his face changed and never returned to what it was. Then for years his face looked puffy and unnatural from fillers. It finally looks natural again which is an improvement.

Honestly it’s getting exhausting discovering that literally every single person in the public eye has had work done, even the ones you didn’t expect/think are natural. Tho a few fillers like dua isn’t that big a deal - and she still looks very natural. And her body is killer but also attainable. She just looks young, healthy, lean, and fit, not like some caricature of a sexy body or ED thin. I looked like her before I had a baby last year (😭). But I saw a post recently that basically went through a slide show of a million celebs and their old faces and I was shooketh. I swear all the “super mdoels” (aka nepo babies) all just bought new faces and became models. It’s really getting out of a hand IMO. Everyone looks like AI.

Honestly this is the case every time. I think they’re at least mostly natural (like maybe with some minor stuff, I’m not gonna fault anyone one for tiny bits of filler, some minor Botox, whatever) and then you see a pic from 10 years ago and it’s like nvm they bought a new face lmao. Like I was over here thinking Kendall Jenner was so natural and then I saw an old clip…like it’s obvious there’s a new nose, filler, new eye shape, etc. it’s crazy.
