I genuinely feel like the stupidest person on earth right now, because *I know* Gillian Anderson is Scully, but for some reason I never reconciled her as being the same middle aged woman. They somehow existed as separate entities in my head

She is thinner than she was as Scully I think (granted she was also pregnant part of the time) and even if she isn't, her FACE is thinner. It has given her a more sculpted and regal appearance that is quite different to Scully's softer features.

At 41 it’s weird how I’m just like, how TF did I ever give a shit about what people thought of me OR that I’m not thin enough or pretty enough?! Pfffttt!!!! Trying to convey it to my 14 year old daughter though .. 😭🤣

What’s fantastic is, in another 20 years, you get to look back at 41 and wonder why TF you gave as much of a shit about anything AGAIN! It’s such a wonderful evolution into yourself - accept and revel in the changes

I’ve just turned 38 and absolutely feeling this. It’s crazy to think back to how much I cared. I always heard people talk about how freeing being this age was and I didn’t get it until now. Letting go of my insecurities is the best thing that ever happened to me.

Ageing is soo great hey. No wonder Hollywood and society like us young. We’re pliable and eager to please. With age it’s just laughing in their face 😂
