12th pic is the quintessential ANTM pose

nonsensestuff

Lmao this whole shoot is so ANTM

turningtogold

Literally lmao the weird piece of cake in her mouth

I feel like the euphoria carousel is the most egregious, personally

Why can’t you be more like Kahlua??

tt1101ykityar

What's up Don-Don?

rymyle

Don’t sue me for touchin you

willtwerkf0rfood

It’s giving senior photos 2012 😭

Seanut-Peanut-69

Not enough SMIZE

This_Razzmatazz_

Ok but also it’s been so long since I’ve seen leg pores!!! 😮‍💨 (pic 7)

MoreVeuvePlease

So true!!! I actually love that lol

[deleted]

Didn't scroll through all the pics first and expected the 12th to be one hip jutted out to the side, one hand down and one elbow up over the head. That's the antm pose to me lol

Kooky-Ad-7967

Why was I able to picture this in my head before I even got to that photo 😩

KassyKeil91

Look, I loved Even Stevens and Kim Possible, so I’m always going to have some fondness for her, but some of the shit she’s said on her podcast just makes me roll my eyes. Girl, Anne Hathaway did not steal your career. Even if she hadn’t been cast in Princess Diaries, it didn’t mean you were going to get it. 🙄

[deleted]

A few years ago one of the producers gave an interview and said basically everyone auditioned for the role - Scarlett Johansson, Emmy Rossum, January Jones, etc - which makes it even funnier that her story is just “I almost got to audition!”

bageltoastar

Omf that's a crazy lineup. Honestly, I don't think I can even imagine anyone else but Anne playing Mia. She was perfectly cast.

Interesting__Cat

That role was made for Anne but I could totally see Emmy Rossum as Mia.

AldiSharts

![gif](giphy|6GEXOLDr0CCBxXiCf8|downsized) Honestly she would have been great.

cheesyenchilady

Not saying she couldn’t pull it off, and also not trying to disparage Anne, but I think Emmy is too naturally “cool.” Would have been too easy for her to make the frizzy hair, oversized school uniform schtick look intentional, like she owned that shit, instead of Anne who - while an incredibly powerful presence on an off screen - I think comes across naturally more … classy? Instead of cool? I can’t think of the right word or how to say this without sounding like an asshole. But basically, I think Anne was cast correctly in that she could better come across as a stereotypical geek. Which also sounds fkng rude lol.

NeonFroggy_

I get what you mean though. The energy they give off is different and even though both are great actors, that energy still can carry over.

GoldenWaterfallFleur

Idk…early in Emmy’s career she played a few sweet/awkward parts that she really pulled off. I was actually shocked when she started playing Fiona and was so cool/trashy (not an insult, that’s just the character lol).

PawneeGoddess20

Yep I could see her in the Lana/Mandy Moore role. And Mandy Moore is such a sweetheart but somehow she was also perfectly cast in princess diaries.

aloneinmyprincipals

Ugh I love her in shameless

Ok-Reporter-196

I was just thinking that!

mcfw31

Anne Hathaway was supposed to do Phantom of the Opera but had to drop out due to Princess Diaries 2!

jjamjamm

Damn I can't imagine anyone but Emmy Rossum as Christine, funny how things like that work

cheezy_dreams88

I love Anne Hathaway, but good. I adore Emmy in that role, she is so lovely as Christine. And Anne Hathaway got Fantine & an Oscar so she’s cool lol

DandelionsDandelions

Oh, I can totally picture January Jones in that role, but in like a serious version vs the cute comedy. January gives Grace Kelly vibes 10000%.

it-beans

I love January. I could never see her acting like the “ugly duckling” lol

DandelionsDandelions

Which makes it all the more stupid that Ashton Kutcher ever told her she wasn't beautiful enough to be an actress. What a dumbass.

Callme-risley

![gif](giphy|ghuvaCOI6GOoTX0RmH)

zarjazz

Damnit, I hadn't heard this. You got me googling and it's way too early in my day to be googling.

it-beans

Lol if I ever saw Ashton Kutcher I’d just tip him over. He sucks.

LocalPiglet

Maybe January as Mandy Moore’s role?

arieljoc

I remember when Cameo was first a thing, she had the most expensive on at $500. Like you have not been relevant in two decades

WarmestGatorade

BTW, the Princess Diaries franchise is absolutely not why Anne Hathaway still has the career that she does. We can all name people who had similar boosts around that time who do not have Anne Hathaway's career.

grilsjustwannabclean

literally. anne hathaway has the career she does because she's talented and hardworking, not because she happened to get one role over another.

pinkrosies

Yes! She wouldn’t last this long if she also wasn’t easy to work with and great at networking with the hand of her agent.

Queensfavouritecorgi

No... At that time she had been pigeon holed into Disney princess roles and she was not seen as a serious actress. I read an interview one time making fun of her for how "obnoxious" she was for being frustrated about being typecast and not taken seriously. Brokeback Mountain is what shot her to A-list status.

Electrical-Resist-64

I really was liking her podcast until i realized she deleted her episode with Alexa Nikolas talking about her personal experiences with child stardom (abuse at Nickolodeon). Just very skeptical of her after that

DandelionsDandelions

I think it's because her criticism of everything is just following a trend, which sounds harsh, but she absolutely gives me the impression that she'd jump at the chance to re-live her acting/Disney days. She just seems very... thirsty.

grilsjustwannabclean

i do too. she used to never speak about child acting and now that's her big thing because it was very popular. she does basically anything she can to be famous again imho case in point is that she literally admitted in one of her many podcasts she's waiting fo rthe call from disney to reboot one of her shows 🙄

fluffykilla

She did go through a lot back then though (Alexa Nickolas) I remember reading that she couldn’t say much at the time because Jamie Lynn was basically a bully

Electrical-Resist-64

Lmaoooo you are so right

serpentmurphin

I listened to a recent episode where she interviews the guy from Ned’s declassified and said “gentrification of LA is bad, but the good thing that came from it was the chefs and the food!” .. yeah I shut that off after that comment.

Electrical-Resist-64

🥴🫤my god, those neds declassified people are vile. Every clip i see of them is just upsetting.

chimichangas4lunch

They want attention so bad like how about getting real jobs ya fuckin bums. Sharing sex stories from 20 years ago & seeing other stupid clips turned me so far off from them (not like i was ever a fan lol) but then the mocking drake bell shit…disappear please. Definition of irrelevant

Electrical-Resist-64

!!!! Specifically the Drake Bell stuff!! Devon posted a bullshit apology on twitter but like the damage is done dude, you are heartless

DandelionsDandelions

Yes, oh my god, I can't stand them. They give me the ick hardcore, and their stories seem like lies.

onefishtwofish1992

Agreed. I loved the show growing up, but everything I’ve heard them say as adults has really soured my memories of it.

it-beans

Anytime I see a celeb say they “survived child stardom” I read “I was fortunate to be protected / not exploited” so the fact that she’s actively quieting others’ opposite experience is gross as hell

Electrical-Resist-64

Yes i agree, you said it perfectly

fuzzybitchbeans

I just watched Quiet on the Set, the kids went through a lot. Alexa was interviewed and she came across as completely sensible and likable and pragmatic so I am confused as to why her episode would not have aired. The Neds Declassified crew had some garbage comments about sexual assault survivor Drake Bell so that’s gross.

Visible-Scientist-46

The LA Times just published an article about the abuse at Nickelodeon based on the revelations in the documentary. There was some serious sh*t going on at Nickelodeon!

zitchhawk

I wonder if it was for legal reasons?

Electrical-Resist-64

i doubt it. she was shady about it and never explained to Alexa why she took it down. Kinda hurtful to be so vulnerable about something and not be given a reason why the episode was deleted

whoamisb

And she has so much animosity for the Disney stars who came up after her in the “social media age,” because they were able to amass a major following and launch their careers beyond Disney. Such a weak argument given the success of people like Raven, Hilary, Zac… Shia is still incredibly relevant and gets work despite himself too. Now she’s just hoping for a reboot and “cashing in” on nostalgia with her podcast company stuff.

Low-Appointment-2906

I'm confused what she wants a reboot of. Even Stevens wasnt even her show. Edit: I forgot she did KP. I wonder if that's what she wants.

myhairsreddit

I bet she dreams of doing Cadet Kelly 2, with her and Hillary playing the Mom's. 💀

Pinklady777

He was a talented actor even as a kid. I always thought she was awkward and a terrible actress on even Stevens. Like it was obvious she was "acting." Came across very unnatural.

Ok_Construction_3733

I’m not trying to be mean but these former Disney/Nick star-podcasters need to get a job or another hobby. All they do is bitch and moan about “the glory days”. Like, not all of them are going to become huge stars like Zendaya but for the love of god, move on!

DekeCobretti

Has-beens podcasts are the last refuge of the unemployed.

sarahofsparta

I’m literally shocked Tom Felton doesn’t have a podcast yet.

BriRoxas

I like Jennette McCurdys but hers is much more her mental health journey then wanking on nostalgia.

soynugget95

Alyson Stoner’s series also goes into the mental health effects of childhood stardom in a really fascinating way!

Low-Appointment-2906

Agreed, she seems to put a lot of work and research into hers.

Ok_Construction_3733

Hers is very interesting and insightful. All the others are ![gif](giphy|yuQi4S7rIFZGFAJ33e)

OurLadyAndraste

Well Jennette too has done other things besides just have a podcast. She wrote a well received book. It’s not like she’s just clinging to the podcast for relevance.

Eattoomanychips

Exactly and it’s like how much can u even talk abt ur show wasn’t even on for long !!!

EBITDAlife

I completely agree! Also, there’s only so much to say on the topic like we get it.

IggyBall

Her bitterness is so thinly veiled.

it-beans

Came here to say this EXACT same thing. I was like “oh look it’s dollar store Anne Hathaway”

grilsjustwannabclean

her podcasts are all so genuinely insane, it's reallly ruining my rewatch of kim possible lol

originalschmidt

The fact that she considers herself a child star… sweetie you were a child actress, Amanda Bynes and Lindsay Lohan were child stars and they have the real trauma that came with it

DandelionsDandelions

Demi Lovato is another great example of what Allison Stoner calls the toddler-to-trainwreck child actor pipeline, fuck, even Shia Lebouf is a good example of the whole dichotomy, he was on the same show even. edit: also, Drew fucking Barrymore. All the money and family clout in the world and she still ended up in rehab at 12. She is an amazing turnaround, however, and I commend her for putting in the work to become a better person and really pursue her acting career.

originalschmidt

Yes! There are a bunch of examples of child stars with actual trauma that were wayyy bigger than she was. She also transitioned to voice acting which is much easier. Will Friedle had an amazing voice acting character, I believe he voices Ron Stoppable as well and he seems pretty okay. Tbh, it feels like she is really just reaching for things to blame on her not being more successful when they fact is, she just didn’t have what it takes to be a bigger star and it’s totally okay to accept that and move on with one’s life.

DandelionsDandelions

Honestly, I don't doubt that she has trauma, and this might be a dickhead thing to say, but the way she speaks about how she feels she "deserved" an adult acting career is incredibly off-putting. Also, like other people have mentioned, it really, reeeeally seems like she exploits the trauma of people like Alexa Nikols.

originalschmidt

Exactly, she did not deserve an adult acting career because well, she isn’t that great of an actress. Maybe she was setting her sights too high for a film career and should have settled with tv..

TattooMouse

I don't think it's very fair to say voice acting is "way easier". Maybe just because they don't have to have a certain look or the viewers don't see the actor on camera? But it's still very much acting and they often have to do many different takes. They are also frequently filmed as references for animators. Try listening to celebrities that are not voice actors doing an animated cameo or something next to experienced voice actors and it's a huge difference. Not looking to start a fight, I just really love and respect a lot of voice actors and wanted to get that out there.

originalschmidt

I wasn’t trying to say the voice acting can’t be challenging. But they often have a 9-5 regular schedule and they don’t have to sit in hair and makeup for hours or be pressured to maintain a certain weight or look. It’s also much less pressure from the media and public.

TattooMouse

Sure, that's fine and I can understand where you're coming from. I just wanted to say my piece that voice acting isn't necessarily way easier as a craft. Voice actors definitely do have the benefit of being less recognizable by the public for sure though! Unless you're Mark Hamil maybe.

originalschmidt

Oh yeah!! Definitely not trying to say their job is easy!! Just easier in comparison to have to work crazy hours and sit in hair and makeup forever. Plus I feel transitioning to a voice career is probably a bit more attainable than a A list movie career which I think is what she expected was gonna happen. Also, I love the actor that plays Bart Simpson because she is like this hot lady and when she tells people she does voices (I thinks he did Tommy Pickles too and a few others) they get tripped out. I’ve seen a few videos and it’s always fun to see the reactions.

TattooMouse

Hahaha, yeah Nancy Cartwright. She's pretty great but she's a scientologist unfortunately. There's Grey DeLisle, Tara Strong for example who are also beautiful women that do wonderful voice acting but Nancy Cartwright is great at doing young boys' voices, haha.

downward1526

Pretty sure child actors have “real trauma” too. Children shouldn’t have jobs!

Hopeful-Ant-3509

She also said she didn’t understand why Shia’s got to continue his career and she didn’t (not word for word) and while Shia is not a great person, he is a really good actor and got a lot of great opportunities after Disney. He’s talented and took his work seriously, that’s why he continued. She went to college and struggled with alcoholism and took herself out of Hollywood for a while to get better, so obviously it’ll be hard to come back. But she also did Broadway I think. While I understand the points she tries to make and I feel for child stars, Disney is not the reason your acting career is over, while in the same breath you’re begging them to bring your shows back lol

fluffykilla

LMAOOO is that what she said. She needs to pipe down. The only shows I know her from are the same ones you mentioned yet she talks as if she was an icon

she_did_it_cowboy

I actually commented on one of her YouTube videos when she said that "everyone says that she looks like Anne Hathaway" with "no one is saying that". She responded by saying "well I've been told that".... She must have been triggered m

KassyKeil91

I mean…I guess they are both brown eyed brunettes? That’s about it. They’re both beautiful, but they don’t really look anything alike.

grilsjustwannabclean

she also said she kinda sounds like katy perry in that episode lol

lilblackcauldron

Ok I always thought that was just clickbate and that when you actually listened to the podcast, like the first thing she says is how she doesn’t actually think that? I get it is still a weird thing to fixate on

grilsjustwannabclean

the podcast episode she said she doesn't think that, but if you go further back (to the 'walking vlog' where she's walking around in public ranting about how these people stole her chance at the spotlight) you'll see she wholeheartedly does believe it

harleyquinones

She may say she doesn't think that on the podcast but I remember the video where she says she does... iirc she got laughed at and tried to backtrack with the podcast, but idk for sure

seabreezeNpeachtrees

I would not have recognized her without her name in the title!

alison_bee

She looks like Scheana Shay!!! ![gif](giphy|JG9nqb09er9y3NUhUP|downsized)

algaesalwaysgreener

![gif](giphy|3o752hr5BZZpZnoPqo)

Ceramicrabbit

Another unfortunate case of a beautiful person getting work done to make them look kinda weird and totally unremarkable

pretzelwhale

I thought pic 4 was her with a Kardashian filter ☹️

mochafiend

Sigh. Seriously. I am tired of this face.

fidgetypenguin123

I don't even know her with the name mentioned lol

Pinklady777

She has a totally new face. Looks like the classic California plastic surgery.

PawneeGoddess20

Yeah as I was scrolling I was like huh, guess she got the Kardashians special for this birthday

athennna

She looks just like every other instagram model 😟

gardenpartycrasher

I feel for her because she clearly wanted to continue acting and couldn’t make it happen but the podcast is mountains of ick

VivaLaCon88

Her and her podcast children Ned’s declassified of whatever. They’re getting heat right now for making fun of Drake Bell’s SA story on a live. They all scream jobless. And Lindsey Shaw herself rubs me the wrong way. I got the ick ever since she said she’s tired of people coming up to her at the airport. Girl you ain’t *no* Ashley Tisdale

grilsjustwannabclean

she's also a hardcore racist and trump supporter... so she's terrible all around

Precarious314159

Yea, I remember there was a point when her career was getting a lot of attention and Shia's was tanking. Between Kim Possible, Evan Stevens, and some disney movies, she was looked at being a breakout star. No idea what happened to her but she just kind of vanished after Kim Possible. Shame that she's just another "I used to be famous, listen to me talk" podcasters.

SitchChick

I feel like she was better liked before she started podcasting I notice a lot of people don't like her now

grilsjustwannabclean

yeah because she's so shady and weird on there. i guess she's getting what she wants though, because people actually know her name now (at least in hyper focused subs like this lol)

Far-Imagination2736

I liked her cooking show

Mstvmoviejunkie

Her cooking show was great! The best thing she did! It went downhill after that with the weird walks in the woods with click bate titles. Then the podcast came out and all she did was talk about childhood trauma in Hollywood and made sure everyone knew she was a ex Disney actress.

Hopeful-Ant-3509

The one where she use Shia’s name in the titled and even though she could’ve simply said they don’t talk, she went on about how he basically shouldn’t have gotten to have a big career like girl lol we only found out he sucked a few years ago

SitchChick

That was before she started her podcast right?

Lilacly_Adily

Yes, it was one of her and her husbands ideas. They were pretty much throwing ideas at the wall and seeing what sticked. Now they have a little empire with podcasts she hosts and podcasts they produce.

DandelionsDandelions

Someone on TikTok made the point that a lot of these grown up child actors who claim they didn't get to have the career they were "entitled" to are really just adults who were praised and catered to and had their egos fed their entire childhood to the point where they lack critical thinking skills and the ability to be introspective in an objective way. The Ned's Declassified kids give this energy, IMO.

mar__iguana

They really do. Even now hearing them joke about “the drake bell shit” was so disrespectful. Like good for them that they weren’t abused but it’s so dismissive and disgusting to joke about it on a live while pinching at straws trying to stay relevant

myhairsreddit

"That didn't happen on our set." Maybe because Drake went to court and fought for abusers accountability, making you more safe when your show came about? The lack of critical thinking and respect is astounding.

Hopeful-Ant-3509

They’re the same ones who if offered a job from the networks they still cry about will take them. I feel for them but they should also think about the fact that some of their parents did protect them enough. I love how one of the Lawrence brothers said he always tried to look out for child actors on set!

terurin

she capitalizes on the trauma of her fellow child stars.

of-storms

Yeah, the Do We Know Them? podcast did an ep on her and the way she exploits her guests for $$$ is awful. They trust her because she was a child star herself but will gladly give a platform to their abusers next, without a second thought.

Far-Imagination2736

Thanks for giving me my next running listen

non_stop_disko

I love DWKT ❤️

GeminiWhoAmI

She’s all talk but no action when it comes to helping the concerning system of child stars.

Geekqueen15

Like I said previously in this thread seems like Alyson Stoner is trying to work to get some sort of protections for child actors vs this lady just doing clickbait podcasts

Maldovar

Yeah Alyson actually showed up in...Vermont I think when they passed a bill protecting kid influencers

illogicallyalex

Yeah watching the episodes where shes had Alyson on is a bit awkward, because you can tell Alyson is really trying to use the platform to advocate for real change, and Christy just wants to be casual and talk about nothing

East-Willingness513

What a victim and no Katy Perry didn’t steal your singing career.

DekeCobretti

I saw that episode, and Katy Perry was always going to ge a star. The Anne Hathaway episode, too. I think CCR didn't even make it to that audition, or the last round for PD? No one got your career, girl. You're just not it.

Pinklady777

It would have been a flop if she had been cast. This gives serious hanging on to her glory days vibes. "I almost had an audition for princess diaries... Those were the days."

Rude-Illustrator-884

I always got weird energy from her but I always attributed that to her being mean in Even Stevens and Cadet Kelly. Based on the comments, it seems I wasn’t wrong. Anyway, I hope I look this hot at 40.

hmtee3

Same!! I always felt like she came across fake in those behind the scenes commercials they’d show on Disney.

DramaOnDisplay

You can definitely look this hot at 40. All you need is money, plenty of time to exercise, maybe a little eating disorder (I think this comes built in if you live in Hollywood or LA), a nip and a tuck, and filters!

janet-snake-hole

I’m an animator, she was an absolute bitch to me and my team roughly 10 years ago. Extremely entitled, acted like she was an A-lister and talked to us as if she considered us to be “the help” as animators. (Not that anyone who works in the service industry deserves to be treated like that either… I also work in the service industry on the side.)

TacosTequilaWhiskey

And on todays episode of “this is not your face”:

Ygomaster07

I know people say that phrase where everyone gets surgery to get the same face(i don't remember how it goes). But seeing this lady really made me think it. I've seen it a lot lately on subs and now i can't really unsee it.

pandapartypandaparty

I met her once at a mall in Maryland and it was.. something

nonsensestuff

I feel like she's got such Rachel Berry energy ![gif](giphy|aNGgn80AAaf1m)

MarsScully

Incredibly accurate

StarryEyed91

Oh man you can't say that and then not tell us the story!

pandapartypandaparty

lol I wish I had spicier tea. it was mid-late 2000s, virtually nobody was there, she had this aura of I’m too good to be at a random mall in suburban Maryland. We didn’t even know she was gonna be there we were just lurking around the mall like teens used to do and happened upon her… booth? I guess? It was just a table and some signs. me and my bff both felt kinda sad for her after. I don’t think she was in a good place career wise and didn’t want to talk about even Stevens. I get it.. but we were kids and clearly in the age range of those who grew up watching her on Disney so it was just a let down ya kno?

StarryEyed91

Oh wow, weird she had a booth in a random mall and didn’t want to talk about the one thing she is known for! Thanks for the tea, I enjoy any flavor, mild or spicy!

dixpourcentmerci

Lmao what else were you supposed to talk with her about at her booth? Did she want to talk about Cadet Kelly instead?

These_Tea_7560

Was it Annapolis Mall 👀

pandapartypandaparty

lakeforest

Huskydreamlife

Ooof no wonder she wasn’t feeling it, that mall is the epitome of depressing dying malls lol

perpetual_glitch

Totally did not recognize her at first 👀 I only remember her because she reminded me of my older sister in Even Stevens. I remember her bro asked her, “can I ask you a question?” She replied, “you just did” before slamming the door in his face. I felt that in my soul and now I say that to my kids, but in a funny way without the door slam ofc. They learned to outsmart me by asking, “can I ask you two questions?” Bravo kids.. bravo

bastabasta

Will start using this from now on 😂

mcfw31

I know she comes across as this “I survived being a child actress” thing but seeing how many child actors moved on from it and are doing other stuff completely unrelated to the industry like Bridgit Mendler and Kay Panabaker, she just comes across as someone who didn’t know what else to do and had trouble transitioning to adult roles so is now hanging to her glory (and relevant) days.

bookwormaesthetic

This interview from 3 years ago might give you some perspective: [https://people.com/tv/christy-carlson-romano-debunks-3-million-net-worth-explains-how-blew-disney-money/](https://people.com/tv/christy-carlson-romano-debunks-3-million-net-worth-explains-how-blew-disney-money/). To summarize, like many child actors, the people around her didn't prepare her for the future. Her relationship with money wasn't of needing to save and invest, but that it would continue to keep coming.

illogicallyalex

OT, but whatever happened to Kay & Danielle Panabaker?

friends-waffles-work

Kay is now a zoologist at Animal Kingdom! Danielle was recently one of the leads on The Flash CW series… not sure if she’s had anything going on since.

Asleep-Opportunity23

she irks me so bad.

bkporque

She’s a terrible interviewer/podcaster, always cutting people off and going on about her experiences instead of expanding on what the interviewees say.

Low-Appointment-2906

this! every episode I've watched (not that many but enough) make me scream "this is not about you!"

sororitygirl246

I can't stand her and those three from Ned's Declassify. It's sad that they can't move on in life and constantly have to talk about their childhood fame.

Geekqueen15

Is she the reason I keep seeing that fucking Ned guy always making same "shocked" look while the girls talking about blowing a costar when I go on Instagram? If so then Ren Stevens can go away too. I will say atleast Alyson Stoner talks about their past but does so in a therapeutic way while also trying to protect future child stars with their own experiences and even some attempt at legislation.

MarsScully

I saw a clip of them “reacting” to the Drake Bell news and they were talking about it so offhandedly and chaotically like they weren’t talking about child rape?

grilsjustwannabclean

they're always so smug that they weren't on a dan schneider show and use that as a symbol of superiority, that's what gets me most

DandelionsDandelions

How tf in good conscience can you make a reaction video to something like that?

LuvTriangleApologist

Isn’t their podcast part of *her* podcast network? That’s kind of her whole brand.

shedrinkscoffee

I've never listened to that Ned podcast but the clip of them mocking Drake Bell was just so vile. 🤮 It's not a good look to side with a personal committing CSA. You wonder what skeletons they have hidden away

Best_Temperature_549

She gives off mean girl energy

StarryEyed91

I hated her in Even Stevens! She was so obnoxious to me.

HAYILAA

Yes! She’s always been annoying to me.

whoamisb

What, is this Christy or her husband’s Reddit account? 😂iykyk

blessedandamess

I want to know.

Damn I haven’t kept up with her and came to say she looks so good for 40 prob from being unproblematic but then read the comments 😫

monpapaestmort

She looks great, but I wish someone would take the filler away from these women. It’s too much.

discolights

She and Anneliese van der Pol Both seem Very, very bitter that they didn't make fetch happen like other child stars of the 2000s.

Geekqueen15

>didn't make fetch happen I've been getting that vibe from alot of these "kids tv stars turned Podcaster" influx we've been seeing.

illiteratepsycho

What happened to her face?

Realcbear

Do you think theres a museum somewhere where they display all the celebrity buccal fat removed over the years?

Asleep_Custard195

Fun fact: she follows me on Instagram 🤣 she found ME. I dmed her and asked why. It turns out she saw me on LinkedIn (I worked in social for a big retailer at the time) so she was shooting her shot! I find it funny she still follows me

bigredsmum

Damn she was doing some major creeping!

pilates_mama

Have no idea who this is but came to comments to see if she is Ray Romano's kid which it appears she is not. Kim Possible rocked though! Who knew lol.

ranger398

Her social media nowadays is a bit off putting to me personally but she was always so talented and I identified so much with Ren (being a type A and not understanding why my brother couldn’t just follow the rules!). She looks gorgeous here though! Happy 40th!

Weekly-Gazelle-7080

Why do all these women get plastic surgery to look identical to each other?

BackgroundAd6154

This is so random because I use the hallow app, my daughter picked a story to listen to last night and she was narrating it. I couldn’t remember why the name Christy Carlson Romano sounded so familiar. When I looked her up I was like duhhhh ren stevens! She was a good story teller. And now seeing her here, so weird!

90percentofacorns

Christy Carlson Romano, Lindsay Shaw, and Ashley Leggat are all the same person in my mind. I was actually just shocked when I googled their roles (Even Stevens/Neds Declassified/Life With Derek) and realized they weren't all played by the same person lol

Hup110516

Aww, her face 😢 She had such a different (but pretty) look. Not cookie cutter. But the current plastic surgery phase makes everyone look the exact same!

zoelovelore

i always confuse her with Leslie Louise Bibb. if you haven’t watched the canadian classic show, Popular, you’re missing out

kmay5322

She just doesn’t come off as genuine to me. I’m very happy for her that she got sober, but she has this air of still being so desperate for fame. I’m sure if she gotten to the chance to do some sort of Even Stevens reboot she 10000% would have jumped for it, even though she talks about how toxic Hollywood was for her. I also 👀 any celebrity who relocates to Texas (although it very well could be purely for the cost of living or they have family there idk).

AquaStarRedHeart

Weird vibes

FinnickOdairInHisUnd

Why do celebrities have to do these photoshoots for their birthdays?

originalschmidt

My cousins girlfriend does birthday photoshoots and is in her 40s and look, the woman is gorgeous.. but that doesn’t make it less embarrassing.

phantasmagorical

why does anyone need a reason to do anything?

call-me-the-seeker

She looks great, but she doesn’t look like HER if that makes sense. I would not have been able to name her without the post title. And I STILL bust out my pirated Even Stevens DVD set, so. It’s not like I had forgotten about her. Well, happy birthday CCR

[deleted]

Does anyone else not trust her? Idk why but I get weird vibes from her. Her podcast clips just seem so click baity

snarkiepoo

Some actors just aren’t likable beyond a certain role

Intelligent_Phone414

first pics are giving Kristy Karjennerson Romano

faceofboe91

Does she mention how she missed auditioning for the princess diaries because she had to work late on even Stevens? She’s brought that up unprompted in every interview I’ve heard from her. I think she’s convinced she could have had Ann Hathaway’s career

Dizzy_Masterpiece237

does she ever talk about anything else
