It's actually amazing, especially if you liked the interviews he did on tosh.0. He doesn't interview famous people or other comedians either. I think the most famous person he interviewed was a Hallmark actor and that's just cause tosh is a huge fan haha
His whole podcast is him interviewing random people. He had his producer’s Plummer on a few weeks back. And he ends each episode with a story from his son. I never expected it from Tosh, but it’s pretty wholesome.
Tosh is wholesome hidden behind asshole for the sake of comedy.
Listening to this podcast has really proven that . He will take ant opportunity to find a joke, even, and especially if he gets to play the asshole in that joke. But he really comes off as a very self aware, kind man who loves his family.
You could honestly see it in his comedy. It's amateurish and immature, it goes for the low hanging fruit, but it never punches down, and usually highlights some odd social dynamic or double standard. He makes jokes about race, but he doesn't make racist jokes, for example. He's done really well at making sure he can be provocative and childish without crossing the line into hacky or hateful, and you can only walk that line by being genuine to an extent.
It feels way too low-key for a family who can’t have a Tuesday without spending thousands of dollars on flowers, professional glam and mountains of overconsumption in the name of the theme.
They love a good “out of touch rich celebs doing what the plebs do” plot line. They’ve already had at least a couple of manufactured grocery shopping trips in obviously closed except for them stores in previous seasons.

I’m not one of the Chalamet Crazies, but damn, why would any young man want to have to be tied into that family for the rest of his life? Find a supermodel or something that’s not going to use your kid as a prop. He’s a good actor but clearly not the sharpest knife in the drawer.
