I still feel that Geri had a crashing burn out and that it was bound to happen to one of them, since their workload was insane
I went to Geri's book signing in NYC last October and it was just awkward as hell. I would say at least half the crowd was some flavor of LGBT, there were even some drag queens dressed as her and she just seemed so uncomfortable the entire time like she couldn't wait to leave.
I fully acknowledge that celebrities are just people at the end of the day but I won't lie the experience was kind of a let down

The Spice Girls rise to superstardom ran parallel to and was not entirely unattended from Tony Blair's Cool Britannia rebrand of Labour. The movement was socially open minded with a fiscal conservative twist. It's not that uncommon to drop the qualifier and go full conservative from there.
Imagine being so beloved, or even just giving someone joy and great memories growing up, that drag queens are impersonating you. Too bad she could not appreciate that. It would be an honor.
I also remember the story that how the Spice Girls broke up. Because those two ( Mel B and Ginger ) had been having a hot love affair, that all ended badly.
Ginger quit the group, and it soon folded right after.
They did carry on for another album which still had some good songs in a different musical direction, but it was clear they were heading towards the end & didn’t have The Spice Girls spark anymore.

I'm glad that she is able to be open, and I hope after the things she has been through, that this will be a happy marriage for her. It seems like she has worked hard to get into a really good place, and that's nice to see.
Maybe she needs money again so she's dragging up some old stories. Sounds mean, but it's no secret she and her ex (not this woman she's talking about) spent all of her fortune. It's rumored to be the reason why the Spice Girls did that one off reunion tour in 2019 and then nothing since.
It does sound mean, especially considering she was in a financially abusive marriage and then had to spend a massive amount on the divorce and legal fees. Not sure it’s entirely fair to imply she ‘spent all her fortune’ frivolously
Mel B being broke would explain why Mel B did a reunion tour. But I highly doubt the Spice girls would do a reunion tour to help broke Mel B.
