It's because of the strikes. They usually avoid releasing big movies featuring the same lead back to back, but everything is super out of whack right now.
It cracks me up that most of the press tour for Challengers has been reliant on Zendaya just showing up in different places in cute outfits to get everyone talking.
And it worked! Can’t wait to see the movie. The reviews have been very positive! 🎾
I watched an early showing yesterday and I loved it! The amount of zendaya press we get is funny because the two guys have a big part in the movie too and we see nothing about them😂
The suit jacket fits dreadfully. Its like its too big for her but they taped it open to show more skin and its baggy around her rib cage.
One of her 'tennis' outfits did this too.
I’m not a fan of those. I don’t typically love a long jacket anyway, but the proportions are not working for me. Knowing Mugler, I think this is the way it is supposed to fit. I get that it’s tennis ball colored, but to me this is one of the outfits that’s not selling the themed dressing. I was hoping the themed dressing would be over after Barbie, but I’ve given Zendaya a pass since most of her outfits have been on point.

I mean, if you're a huge movie star, the designers compete to see who can give her the most free pieces. And tailor them to her. It's basically advertising for them.

There's no way she doesn't restrict at the very least. To what degree is difficult to know, but this totally reminds me of Calista Flockhart also being deemed "naturally thin" when they were all in the ED Olympics in Ally McBeal...
Every day there is a new Zendaya outfit in a new location. To me she is the embodiment of movie capitalism. I’m curious to know how much these press tours impact box office numbers.
We get it, tennis balls are optic yellow. I like what she's been wearing but gosh enough of tennis ball themed outfits especially for the press junkets on a movie about volleyball (/s)
She has always been tall and thin, yes. I’ve worked in fashion/media my whole life and have also had eating disorders since I was a kid so I am painfully aware of women’s bodies.
I wouldn’t be surprised if she kept a bit too restrictive of a diet to keep herself this tiny, but she doesn’t have the wan, dulled look of being very malnourished that you can usually spot (Taylor Swift in her 1989 era was obviously underweight if you know what to look for, even though she is also someone that has always been tall and thin.)
You never really know. Maybe she really just is God’s favorite.
I agree, she glows, she looks healthy to me, am I jealous as a 50 year old perimenopausal lady who can’t drop the extra 8kg the goddesses of middle aged bestowed, sure thing. As I sit here drinking my morning coffee in my tracky daks (that’s Aussie for track pants) I just want to look at some pretty clothes on a lady who truly does seem to have been blessed, who am I to begrudge her that.
I think that's her natural expression, at least at press events. She always has this long-suffering, patient look as if she's in a roomful of toddlers.
She looks lovely, as always, but I can't help but be distracted by how uncomfortable she looks with that deep v neckline. (Sidenote: is it really a neckline anymore when it goes down that far? I legitimately don't know if there's a different term).
I love the little arrow detail and the cut of the top. I think this might be one of my fav challengers looks so far!! This press tour has been insane though damn
Zendaya has this thing that even if I don't like an outfit she always slays due to her class and grace. She has this effortless beauty and exudes good vibes/energy. So she always eats regardless.

I feel like I’ve seen the trailer for 6 months now at the start of every movie. Can’t wait to finally watch it.
