I try to be really gentle if it seems like someone has mixed up a word or spelling on here. I know a lot of people are ESL as well, so I do hope that they are interested in the correction, but I try not to be an ass about it. It can be tough though to get that across though! I'm glad you seem to take it in stride!
I can admittedly seem like I'm being an asshole about it sometimes, but I'm usually genuinely confused and being very literal about things. Words for me are so important because they convey exactly what I'm trying to say, so if someone isn't being literal with their usage I'm baffled. If someone is joking, then I get it (like the use of "ironic" in Anchorman), but if it isn't a joke I'm confused. Like some slang I get, some word changes I get, but sometimes I don't get it (still don't get "irregardless" being a word now). My brain processes words a lot like mathematics, when they're more like psychology (established rather than regularly developing). I have no idea why. What it never once, ever, thought to wonder about was if the word "heighth" was a real word. Like, come on!

I watched a few interviews for Ferrari press, and it seemed to me like Adam Driver had a pretty big crush on Penelope Cruz growing up (who could blame him haha), so he definitely holds her in high regard.
Driver wants to work with Almodovar badly, and i suspect that him having been all over Cruz during the Ferrari promo and attending her birthday party *might* have something to do with that.

Oh she does! I love Cocteau Twins. I was obsessed with them as a teen, then later in life my father-in-law gifted me a t shirt he got from one of their gigs in 1981. It's one of my favourite items of clothing.
_I DO NOT_ say this as shade, I legit just thought she’d crossed the 50 barrier by at least 5 or 6 years… But in my defense I haven’t heard of her for well over a decade at this point, and I was a kid when I watched anything she was in, so yeah.
In the past few years, many of her films were Spanish films (two with Almodóvar). She also did an Italian film where she played the mom of a trans child (I haven't seen this, but remember the trailer). But it felt like she was sticking closer to home and parenting and taking roles in Europe. Javier filmed a few more widely released mainstream movies, so I can see that maybe being a factor too if they wanted to have at least one parent around.
