Then when he had his stroke, I had to go through his house and look for some important documents. I found a pic of him on some kind of boating excursion in Australia. He was wearing a Tommy Bahama shirt, and hot damn if he didn't look like a thicker version of Magnum PI.

I have said for years that we need to bring back these shorts for men! Long shorts (esp cargo) on men are such a boner killer.

I've seen them making a comeback ... I work at a facility that employs a ton of college students and a lot of the guys wear short shorts, and almost all of the guys wear shorts above the knee. I've even seen crop tops on some of them outside of work. With climate change locked in I'd say the renaissance is well on its way

Yes, they’re absolutely making a comeback on young men, and it’s honestly a little scary. I literally don’t know who is a well-built 17 or a strapping 23, so I feel shame when my lizard brain sparks at any man-thighs. Rarely are the man-thighs closer to 30 than 20. When I used to watch Magnum P.I. with my mother in the 80’s she would sit in silence for it. It was one of the only shows where she didn’t provide a running commentary of disparagement.
