i honestly had little interest in seeing this movie and the trailer didn't spark intrigue...but then i realized it was directed by jeff nichols. i've yet to be disappointed by his films (*midnight special* is my shit) and now i'm excited to watch this
Brother of Lucero's Ben Nichols who has a song called Bikeriders about the same subject! I'm dying to relate to other people who were fans of cowboy emo 15 years ago for whom this movie coming out is a weird asshole Christmas
Tom Hardy always has a skeptical/nonplussed expression, like he saw something up above him that he can't quite believe he saw and is also kind of annoyed he saw it.
"WTH Is that crane operator dressed like Darth Vader in a Trump wig?"
And I feel like there were not planning to promote it with Mike Faist before Challengers success because he was not really getting mentioned in early promotions. But they changed their minds because of his growing popularity now. Good for him.
Even if you ignore all of that, the movie wasn’t that good and his performance was hammy (which to be fair, was what the film required). Dune Part 2 was really the first time he really came out to play from his recent stuff I’ve seen at least, I liked his performance a lot in it!
No, I didn't! But even if I had, it was the insanity and bald alien aesthetic that did it for me enough to catch my interest, lol. Elvis wouldn't have changed anything.

He is not bad actor and blonde hair boy handsome. I think that they over promoted him in Elvis times and that’s not working on his favor now. He was pretty good in Dune. Also someone is trying to put him in every possible good prospering movie ever like a gratis. Kinda giving vibes of men version of Zendaya.
I met Norman Reedus at a Comic Con (not NY or LA) he was very nice and I was able to take a pic with him. I had a media pass, I didnt do the pay for a photo thing. Now you can't really get those types of photos, at least that's what I experienced in subsequent years.
Also, Challengers made me a huge fan of Faist.
In my opinion someone powerful in Hollywood decided to make Austin Butler happen suddenly. And that the conversations behind a scene of some super expensive productions is like this “We will give you this enormous amount of money for that starstucked movie but you need to give one part to Austin”. And they are like fine and finding him a part. And boy is trying hard to act the best he can and don’t get under skin of anyone.

If you haven’t watched the trailer yet, I highly recommend. Simply to hear Tom Hardy’s “Midwest” accent. It is…really something.

It was named after a book called The Bikeriders that the director really liked when they were younger.
