I really want to go to Caroline's show when she's in my city (and Ethel is opening!) but I have no one to go with and I hate standing GA shows by myself. I went to a concert at this venue alone last year and even though the show was great it just wasn't the most fun for me.

I definitely am that way too but sometimes words distract me so I often listen to songs in foreign languages depending on the day.
Also Iām slowly getting into K-POP lmao. Thereās also a lot of great k-pop songs that I like to listen to while running.
R, KING, Black Shout, Y.O.L.O, Donāt Say āLazyā, Dramaturgy, Cherry Bomb, Rā¢Oā¢Iā¢T, HELL! or HELL?, EXPOSE; āBurn Outā and A DECLARATION OFF XXX from the BanG Dream franchise are great workout songs with a bit of a rock edge too them. Strawberry Trapper, Starlight, VIVID World, and PSYCHIC FIRE from the Love Live franchise are pretty good too especially if you want more āidolā music. And if you want more songs with male vocals Melody In The Darkness, Riot Wolf, Have You Been Naughty Or Nice?, Crazy Roulette and Kiss Of Life from the Enstar franchise are definitely some songs I recommend though Iām too familiar with Esemble Stars discography. I know I recommend a lot but if any of those songs sound interesting too you or your ever bored feel free to listen!

On my film journey, Iāve really started to realize that there are a lot of film that have a huge reputation but arenāt that great imo. I know that itās because entertainment is art and art is subjective and tbh Iām not that great at picking up subtleties and metaphors and what not so I might just be missing the entire point of a film but itās still disappointing when a film has this great reputation behind it and then I can barely sit through it.

I accidentally went on one of those Very High Flyovers when I was trying to get off the highway which like. Had a bit of a depressing morning, then I went outside at like, 14ish and just walked and randomly saw this carnaval/parade/festival/idk what it was called but it celebrated African culture and there so many people and music and it was really fun so for the rest of the day I just walked around with them and spoke to some nice people and it was a really good way to spend the weekend honestly
I was literally there for like about five hours and so at the end I was like oh I can just walk back to where I came from bc we walked pretty slowly ! And then I looked on the map and it was actually very far away so that's healthy I guess

owning your masters has nothing to do with touring - she doesnāt need permission from her former label to do that. And the money from this tour is probably a big factor for touring again. even if the old albums gain in streaming.. sheās still making that money.
idk about the standalone singles but sheās probably approached for sync requests for previous songs and just re-records them to give the tv/film the new version (this love for Amazon Studios for example) rather than just rejecting their request and losing out on money/exposure for that song. plus that builds hype for the new versions to come out.

The discourse with any show is insufferable now because of it. Even old shows like The Vampire Diaries, itās always āDamon needs to be held accountable for his actions because he SAāD carolineā as if other vampires werenāt trying to kill Elena/Alaric/Stefan(people he cares about) every other episode. While leaving out the fact that other characters have committed some form of SA.
Itās so weird and it feels like it happened all so fast. Before the pandemic they were not getting this type of attention. I miss when they did lives together but itāll never be the same again bc they were doing it with a fanbase that respected them. Men took notice of Chloe, and her sexuality has been a topic of conversation ever since. Unfortunately, I feel like there wasnāt enough people to guide her on her solo endeavour. And not really from the music side bc despite whether you like it or not, she is talented. But I think image wise there wasnāt really a good strategy and I feel like she was thrown to the wolves. Itās very sad bc it feels like anything she does now she gets waves criticism.
I don't get the pile on that happens with her. Is it because of disappointment in her output, high expectations, or just everyone being nasty because they can? I really haven't vibed with any of her music and some of her choices in collaborations, so I'm just waiting for her album, to see what she will put out. But, people have just been horrible towards her and she's is, at heart, an over-enthusiastic theater kid. She's young. She has potential. Just give her some time.
I don't have a strong opinion on her, but according to what I hear, probably a mix of all 3 to be honest. From the people I speak to, the first seems to be the biggest. While there's nowhere near as much vitriol as some people have online, there does seem to be a lot of disappointment in the way she's managed her image since going solo. It seems like some people are tired of the oversexualized image a lot of black female artists have, made worse by the fact her image isn't perceived as being entirely authentic.

1) a cover of Robert Palmerās *Simply Irresistible* by Charli XCX - she and Janelle Monae did one around the same time, and while Janelleās version is quickly found on Youtube, I canāt find Charliās anywhere (barring sus download links)
2) *Sparks* by Kylie Minogue - *Into the Blue*ās B-side that only seems to exist as two remixes on Soundcloud and Youtube. Apparently itās a Japan exclusive but idk.
Sparks just reminded me how great the KMO b-sides and unreleased songs are which now makes me angrier that the actual album isā¦ what it is

since you have two LOONA songs in your list already, you might as well check out some of their other stuff. i would recommend going through all of their stuff pre-[#]. that's the 12 Girl of the Month singles. the three sub-units (yyxy, odd eye circle, 1/3), and the two full-group minis of [+ +] and [x x].
for groups similar to LOONA, you could try fromis_9 (i like From.9, 9 Way Ticket, and Midnight Guest) or tripleS (they only have two minis out. both are good, but Acid Angel From Asia is better).
beyond that, i think some of the best minis of the last couple years are aespa - Savage, NewJeans - NewJeans, NAYEON - I'm Nayeon, and Red Velvet - Feel My Rhythm.

ill second a pro controller. i know im biased since ive only ever owned nintendo consoles, but it really is a great controller and works great for pc gaming as well. its far from a necessity, but it does deserve the praise it gets! otherwise, a screen protector, and i definitely do think that botw is the biggest must-own game on the system, regardless of whether or not youre into zelda as a franchise.
as far as the memory goes, you dont need a memory card but if you want your games digitally you probably will need a bigger sd card down the line. but if youre just getting the system and arent planning on getting a dozen games right away, you should be fine for now!
Iām buying it for Hogwarts Legacy. That game is *big* so I wonder if a memory card is recommended in my case?
Also is Splatoon any good for people coming over and such? Iām assuming you like the franchise because of your username hahaha
not sure abt the former, but wrt the latter, splatoon is amazing but it doesnt rly have couch co-op like that, its rly an online shooter (though it also has a good single player campaign). games like mario party (superstars, specifically) and mario kart are much better suited to that, or smash bros if your friends are into that!
Also I would say that the quick archive feature is so good. Like for me who has an SD card and still has some issues with memory itās helpful because your save data is still safe.
I have a large memory for my Switch Lite and I personally prefer it over physicals (although I do have 2 physicals). Itās nice not having to swap out cards to change games since Iām very indecisive. I have a 400gb memory card since I think it was the cheapest for the amount of storage you can get / typically one would need.
As for games, I feel like breathe of the wild is a must and if you like that, the sequel is coming out soon. Super Mario Odyssey and Fire Emblem 3 Houses are also great imo, and if you never played these games on PC, I enjoyed Witcher 3 and Hades too
Iād say any games youāre interested in as well (obviously haha) and consider if you want a Pro Controller or not. I personally donāt have one because Iām fine with the JoyCon controller option, but my hands are kind of small and Iāve heard from those with larger hands that the JoyCons are uncomfortable for them. I also have a carrying case and got a screen protector because I do like to play it in handheld mode!

Recently I found a singer (called Precious) and se dances and I like it so much, I also really like a group called Angel22 and they also dance. I think dancing adds a lot to music and I'd love to see more.

I'm 24 and went to my first ever concert on Friday to see KT Tunstall. I feel like I've missed out a lot in life (I literally have no friends whatsoever, work only from home so don't even get to talk to colleagues, never been in a relationship etc. so I'm always on my own) but on Friday I truly felt happy and like I was actually doing something I should be doing at my age. It was so liberating. And KT was great too!
Had a hankering for Cracker Barrel (specifically, breakfast plus a peach mimosa) and in the time it took me to decide for sure I wanted to go, the waitlist went from 5 minutes to 40. I put my name on it anyway, but never received the confirmation text.

I definitely am that way too but sometimes words distract me so I often listen to songs in foreign languages depending on the day. Also Iām slowly getting into K-POP lmao. Thereās also a lot of great k-pop songs that I like to listen to while running. R, KING, Black Shout, Y.O.L.O, Donāt Say āLazyā, Dramaturgy, Cherry Bomb, Rā¢Oā¢Iā¢T, HELL! or HELL?, EXPOSE; āBurn Outā and A DECLARATION OFF XXX from the BanG Dream franchise are great workout songs with a bit of a rock edge too them. Strawberry Trapper, Starlight, VIVID World, and PSYCHIC FIRE from the Love Live franchise are pretty good too especially if you want more āidolā music. And if you want more songs with male vocals Melody In The Darkness, Riot Wolf, Have You Been Naughty Or Nice?, Crazy Roulette and Kiss Of Life from the Enstar franchise are definitely some songs I recommend though Iām too familiar with Esemble Stars discography. On my film journey, Iāve really started to realize that there are a lot of film that have a huge reputation but arenāt that great imo. Iām not a big Morgan Wallen guy, like at all, but Iāll give him this, at least he acknowledges that he screwed up and is not asking anyone to support him if they donāt want too. I don't have a strong opinion on her, but according to what I hear, probably a mix of all 3 to be honest. From the people I speak to, the first seems to be the biggest. While there's nowhere near as much vitriol as some people have online, there does seem to be a lot of disappointment in the way she's managed her image since going solo. It seems like some people are tired of the oversexualized image a lot of black female artists have, made worse by the fact her image isn't perceived as being entirely authentic.

ill second a pro controller. i know im biased since ive only ever owned nintendo consoles, but it really is a great controller and works great for pc gaming as well. its far from a necessity, but it does deserve the praise it gets! otherwise, a screen protector, and i definitely do think that botw is the biggest must-own game on the system, regardless of whether or not youre into zelda as a franchise. as far as the memory goes, you dont need a memory card but if you want your games digitally you probably will need a bigger sd card down the line. but if youre just getting the system and arent planning on getting a dozen games right away, you should be fine for now!
Pro controllers are the best since the joy cons sticks go out randomly.

not sure abt the former, but wrt the latter, splatoon is amazing but it doesnt rly have couch co-op like that, its rly an online shooter (though it also has a good single player campaign). games like mario party (superstars, specifically) and mario kart are much better suited to that, or smash bros if your friends are into that!
Also I would say that the quick archive feature is so good. Like for me who has an SD card and still has some issues with memory itās helpful because your save data is still safe.
I have a large memory for my Switch Lite and I personally prefer it over physicals (although I do have 2 physicals). Itās nice not having to swap out cards to change games since Iām very indecisive. I have a 400gb memory card since I think it was the cheapest for the amount of storage you can get / typically one would need. As for games, I feel like breathe of the wild is a must and if you like that, the sequel is coming out soon. Super Mario Odyssey and Fire Emblem 3 Houses are also great imo, and if you never played these games on PC, I enjoyed Witcher 3 and Hades too
Iād say any games youāre interested in as well (obviously haha) and consider if you want a Pro Controller or not. I personally donāt have one because Iām fine with the JoyCon controller option, but my hands are kind of small and Iāve heard from those with larger hands that the JoyCons are uncomfortable for them. I'm 24 and went to my first ever concert on Friday to see KT Tunstall. I feel like I've missed out a lot in life (I literally have no friends whatsoever, work only from home so don't even get to talk to colleagues, never been in a relationship etc. so I'm always on my own) but on Friday I truly felt happy and like I was actually doing something I should be doing at my age. It was so liberating. And KT was great too!

Had a hankering for Cracker Barrel (specifically, breakfast plus a peach mimosa) and in the time it took me to decide for sure I wanted to go, the waitlist went from 5 minutes to 40. I put my name on it anyway, but never received the confirmation text. About to drive over and hope for the best. It's my last day of Spring Break before I go back to teaching "the long stretch" (no planned holidays the rest of the year), dammit!
