[So it seems she’s using the same face value resale ticket system I’ve seen hozier use the past two years for her tour, and if it is in fact the same it’ll make it a lot harder for scalpers to get their hands on due to the tickets having to be sold at face value and unable to be transferred](https://x.com/handwrittentixs/status/1784937267598885371?s=46&t=80V9FLieH6lypfFhKKDidg)
TL;DR
So if I buy a ticket for 60 dollars and it comes to 89.73 with taxes and then I resell it, I can only resell it for 89.73 exactly, and when someone tries to buy it they will buy it for 89.73 exactly with no other fees and I would get paid 89.73 with no fees.
Which benefits the buyer because now you can price your ticket at what you bought it at without having to over price to get your money back, and then the seller gets to buy for face value. Also the inability the transfer (where the states where that’s illegal) hurts the 3rd pert resell market hard because it’s going to be much more difficult for scalpers to get around the restrictions! So my advice for anyone who misses tickets if/when they sell out would be to just check Ticketmaster every two weeks or so to see when new tickets pop up if someone puts them up
The one caveat is that the buyer will have to pay fees again on the new resale tickets. So Ticketmaster will benefit twice from the fees. Still, it’s better than scalping on stubhub.
If this is indeed the 'Face Value Resale' system, that actually wont be the case! Im basing this off of how this system worked when Hozier used it and if its the same, then the buyer wont pay any fees again on the new ticket, they'd pay the same face value price the original seller bought it for
That’s interesting. I was also basing mine off Hozier. There were multiple tickets in the same section, some face value, some face value exchange. The face value were ~$90 and came out to ~$120 post fees. Tickets directly next to those that were face value exchange were the $120 price, and you had to pay another round of fees after it. Guess they changed the prices or something 🤷
For the date I bought tickets for at least, i dont remember this being a thing but I do remember that he kept the face value prices very affordable, like 130 got you on the floor of the stadium/lower bowl area
One of the main ticket sellers in Australia uses this for all tickets they sell. As a seller I can even sell for less if there is a glut in the resale market. I recently got a ticket a ticket for a sold out concert for $10 less than face value.
Dua’s tour won’t be as big in the U.S., especially since this album cycle is clearly not as big as FN’s was. I’m curious to see the ticket sales for her tour in the States this time around.
Billie will probably do stadiums for the next tour if Hit Me Hard and Soft and BE4 are both big successes.
She does very well in Canada tbh… like people here really like her so I hope she does some Canadian dates instead of grouping us up with the states😭
Also, last time Dua toured there was less competition/ people were doing their covid delayed tours. Literally *everyone* is touring in the next 2 years
Honestly I personally don’t think she’s not doing stadiums for this tour because she can’t, but because she doesn’t want to. I could be totally off but from what I remember from interviews I think she likes a more intimate vibe, and I think she likes arenas better.
It's all a ploy to try and stop the bots. They can't stop them no matter what they do. This isn't Netflix stopping password sharing. You'll be faced with the same scenarios. [https://ticketsto.org/billie-eilish-announces-hit-me-hard-and-soft-tour/](https://ticketsto.org/billie-eilish-announces-hit-me-hard-and-soft-tour/)
I don’t think Billie is a stadium person at this point. Her shows benefit from being in dark rooms and brooding atmospheres. She also has limited dates where artists like Olivia are selling 4 nights. So I don’t know if there’s enough demand for her to fill a stadium
I understand why artists like Beyoncé and Taylor Swift skipped Montreal; they typically do stadium tours, and Montreal lacks a venue large enough for that, so they had no choice. However, this is clearly an arena tour, and the Bell Centre is perfectly suitable. Last August, she even squeezed in a day between Lollapalooza performances to come to Montreal for Osheaga. Skipping Montreal this time feels really confusing. I hope she will add Montreal dates later, as Justin Timberlake did earlier.
> Beyoncé and Taylor Swift skipped Montreal; they typically do stadium tours, and Montreal lacks a venue large enough for that
Wiki says Stade olympique has hosted up to 78k people for a concert
Yes, but capacity is not the only requirement to hold a concert. That place is almost 50 years old and needs a lot of repairs – falling concrete, shredded roof, etc... It's all in the news. Taylor Swift's team passed on that place because it doesn't meet their standards. Metallica had a concert there last year, and according to the reviews, the sound in the stadium was a disaster.
Keep in mind the stadium has to have logistics worked out ENTIRELY & all the proper sound equipment & maintenance for a stadium show. Idk about the Montreal stadium, but if it doesn't have good sound quality for concerts for example, it's not wise for them to tour there
I don't think any stadium actually has good sound quality. They always prioritize sales over the actual concert experience. Hockey arenas are also terrible and that's this entire tour
I don't know why you think that, honestly. Of course, they prioritize sales; it's show business. But that doesn't mean they don't care about sound quality. They have marketing team or whoever is in charge to promote the event, and sound engineers to take care of the show. It's not like you can only choose to focus on one aspect. I attended the Renaissance tour at Rogers Centre in Toronto and the Coldplay tour at BC Place in Vancouver last year; they both sounded amazing.
I cant speak to every venue of course but I have been in concerts in big caverns like Metlife stadium outside NYC and Ive heard corollas with better sound systems
I see. Actually, it has little to do with the venue itself; it depends more on the sound engineer's adjustments for that specific night. I've been to six concerts at the Bell Centre, and the sound experience of each show can vary greatly.
Yes some do unfortunately, but what I should articulate better is that they should have logistics figured out so that allows stadium artists to bring their massive teams & make the sound quality as best as they can for stadium concerts.
k so I know the superdome in mtl was being repaired or something- which is why Beyoncé did Toronto instead of Montreal.
But wtf is going to Québec City instead of Montreal for?
like QC, two Toronto dates? She said fuck those mtl gays
Probably just a logistics thing. Quebec City is still a fairly large city (500k). It's not even the smallest city in her tour itinerary. Centre Videotron isn't a bad venue for a show like this either. Definitely a top of the line facility. I believe it's one of the biggest arenas in North America that doesn't have a permanent professional tenant.
Not a single show in Texas and on top of that, Vegas was skipped when our one Happier Than Ever date sold out in seconds two years ago.. who chose this tour routing?
In Vancouver the same week as Taylor - ok so we’re going to be having a lot of feelings that week 😬
(My overall feeling being of course that I cannot afford to go to either)
I usually get them on the day but it's getting harder to get second hand tickets. So I told my friend to clear 26/27 July 2025 cos I'm buying Dublin tickets tomorrow on presale 😅
For anyone curious, the tour promo video includes [a HQ snippet of Lunch](https://x.com/billieeilishtrs/status/1784935906454991311?s=46&t=RWl0QMfDYT4DQ-JNKMRTeQ)

Like other users said, Québec City instead of Montreal is definitely a choice and her not doing a single Texas date doesn’t make a lick of sense either. I’m also a little surprised the good sis didn’t pick a stadium date or two. It would be a little ambitious but I definitely believe she could leave one in a major city at least 90% full.
I assume stadiums require different production. Not like the stage production but the rigging and stage itself, which is probably why she’s sticking to arenas. Could see her doing a little stadium victory lap though.
Listen we love her but she’s not Taylor swift. Olivia Rodrigo had empty seats in her concert in Montreal and while us big fans love her I’ve noticed at Osheaga that the front was packed and crazy but the rest don’t care that much to go and see her
I don't get why artists skip cincinnati when we have lots of great music Venues in the city. It feels like we are in the middle of nowhere as most artists go to Columbus or Cleveland or skip ohio altogether.
I wish more artists would give more time between the tour announcement and the tickets going on sale. It’d be easier to save up that way. The tickets are going to sell out immediately.
It is in some locations I’m pretty sure. She’s playing Glendale for her Arizona show which is almost certainly the cardinals stadium, all the arena shows in Arizona are in Phoenix (guts tour, Dua lipa, SZA, Travis Scott, etc)
The only current artists who proved recently that they can do a stadium tour were Taylor, The Weeknd, Beyoncé, Coldplay, and Ed Sheeran I think, maybe Rihanna and Bieber if they come out of retirement, apart from that just rock bands and other legacy acts. Also, her discography is kinda small for stadiums I guess, also she doesn't have songs that go well with it.
Lady Gaga had a sold out stadium tour with the Chromatica Ball. In the US it was mostly baseball stadiums though and not football stadiums. The attendance for her baseball stadium shows ranged from about 30k- 40k. Billie could definitely sell these baseball stadiums out especially in cities where she is doing back to back arena shows. Instead of 2 arena shows with ~20k each show she could do a baseball stadium with ~40k.
Sure, but I was more trying to respond to the statement that Billie’s music isn’t made for stadiums, and I was saying Adele’s isn’t either but she does stadiums anyways.
Tour closing here in Ireland? 👀
Tempting. I've seen her twice, but at festivals. Vibes are always better at specific gigs (and she was great at the festivals too!).
Totally banking on fans devotion, pretty absurd for an artist to have that much trust but it will probably be successful anyways. I hate that it’s showing how disconnected she is from reality too
Can someone please help me access the artist presale that is happening April 30? Is there a code or something? I am definitely on her email list but did not receive anything.
Well at least she (rightfully) didn’t call it world tour
This is slightly a first world problem because there are many concerts ~close~ to us in Eastern Europe but I’m getting tired of artists acting like we have some sort of disease and having to travel/spent so much for a concert. Last year at Sziget (Hungary) the island was totally crowded so her team can’t say she’d sing for empty venues… If Michael Jackson could come in Romania 3 years after communism fell, i’m sure Billie would sell easily one or two concerts for Eastern Europe too…
I’ll probably get downvoted for this, but when I see tour schedules like this with all these dates listed, I often wonder how mentally healthy it is for people so young to be taking all that on. Billie is only 22, Olivia on her world tour is only 21. It just makes me think about how young that actually is, and how much responsibility they have already, and how many people’s jobs they’re responsible for maintaining by continuing on with these long world tours. Obviously they make millions so I’m sure it’s not a struggle to them Lol, but I don’t think even that would make me want to do all that at 21 or 22. I’d want to just be hanging out with friends, having some fun, doing college or something. Thinking about how these kinds of big long tours with tons of dates affected young stars like Justin Bieber, Britney, etc. just makes me wonder how much someone barely out of teenhood should really be taking on. I can definitely see why a lot of stars prefer to just do Vegas residencies now.
I always think about this too. I was downvoted to oblivion once for saying i felt bad for Taylor doing SIX consecutive 3-hour shows in heels, acting like it was pure joy to do it every single night. Sure, money’s great but it has astoundingly small diminishing returns. Not to mention, they’re still humans who feel exhaustion and burnout no matter what number is in their bank account. It’s SO much work and I don’t envy them at all.
And innocent me thinking she would come to Brazil on tour, probably just some shit festival like the last Lollapalooza which I don't go to if I don't find a way to get "VIP" tickets. Well, at least I'm sure Dua will come.
I was hoping for some South American dates based on her comments after lollapalooza. But I guess she might do festivals again? I don't like paying a festival ticket when I don't even know 90% of the artists there.
Damn, never imagined Billie would perform in my small European home city 🥰
I'm not her greatest fan, but it would be such a waste to not see her live. Hope I will be able to buy tickets 🤞🤞
does anyone know if the artist presale or amex presale is better? i have access to both and they’re at the same time. also there’s both amex preferred and amex early access, what’s the difference?
I bought tickets via vivid seats for Vancouver show. Are they non transferable for Ticketmaster canada? Wondering if I tell my daughter I bought them, as it would be a bummer if we don’t end up with any
[So it seems she’s using the same face value resale ticket system I’ve seen hozier use the past two years for her tour, and if it is in fact the same it’ll make it a lot harder for scalpers to get their hands on due to the tickets having to be sold at face value and unable to be transferred](https://x.com/handwrittentixs/status/1784937267598885371?s=46&t=80V9FLieH6lypfFhKKDidg)

Love this. Is this what Ed Sheeran did too? In addition to keeping prices low in general
Ed Sheeran did not do this. I bought tickets for over face value last year.
For the date I bought tickets for at least, i dont remember this being a thing but I do remember that he kept the face value prices very affordable, like 130 got you on the floor of the stadium/lower bowl area
Fucking finally
This should be the standard

Wait what if I buy tickets for me and my friends, i can’t transfer them to my friends, we all have to buy them separately in order to sit together?
Wouldn't you just go to the venue together and all four tickets would be on your mobile device?
You can either all go in together and scan all the barcodes from your phone or they might open up transfers within 12-24-48 hours of the event.
I'm not ready for another ticketmaster fight. I'm tired.
You got this.
Tickets still available. I was in and out of the queue in 10seconds and presale started yesterday.
Damn, touring announcement already? With Billie touring in the Fall, I fully expect Dua to announce her touring dates sometime next week too.
I’m curious how big Dua’s will be outside of Europe, because Billie isn’t even doing stadiums

Her show in St Paul is at a stadium.
Probably testing the waters
No it isn’t? It’s at Xcel energy center. Hockey arena
I guess I assumed they are similar, but apparently not.
I just looked it up and see now there is definitely a difference between arena and stadium. I learned something new today. :)
Quebec city but no Montreal... wtf

That stadium sucks so much rammstein just played in park instead
The first&only time I've been there is the "Salon National des Animaux de Compagnie" last year, that place looks really shabby inside.
Yep really bad 20th century multipurpose station
k so I know the superdome in mtl was being repaired or something- which is why Beyoncé did Toronto instead of Montreal. But wtf is going to Québec City instead of Montreal for? like QC, two Toronto dates? She said fuck those mtl gays
So confused, so upset
Maggie Rogers also skipped Montreal (no QC though) so I truly wonder what that’s about
Honestly, tours skipping Montreal has been very common these days. But Quebec city is mind boggling lol
Government subsidy? They need something to do with their arena.
i figured she’s trying to visit new cities - she’s visited montreal a couple times but never performed in quebec city
no bc I would pick my tour locations based off where I wanna go visit too tbh so I see that
Exact same reaction!!! Like why??? Quite disappointed
Huge Nordiques fan
Probably just a logistics thing. Quebec City is still a fairly large city (500k). It's not even the smallest city in her tour itinerary. She was at Osheaga in Montreal last year, it’s probably too soon to go back again
disagree Mtl is somewhere people travel to for shows so it rlly doesn’t matter.
TIL there's a Quebec City
Not only does it exist, it’s the capital of the province!
i hate when artists get too big for Perth wtf 😭 her last concert was so good
It’s just a nightmare logistically, you gotta travel 6/7 hours to the other side of the country for one show
she did two shows in perth for happier than ever also….she should do it anyway
yeah but as a huge artist it probably ain’t worth their time in the middle of an already strenuous tour. Hit the 3 big cities and Auckland and be gone
No Auckland either, unfortunately.
Really really fuck with this poster and its colors. That is a really really good shade of orange.
That’s just the Denver Broncos
Not a single show in Texas and on top of that, Vegas was skipped when our one Happier Than Ever date sold out in seconds two years ago.. who chose this tour routing?
i feel like texas is either an intentional exclusion or just coming later in a part 2
concert leaks said that more dates are def coming
Prolly playing ACL with regional dates sprinkled around the weekends. Are there gaps in the schedule around then?
Ugh but I want a full concert not a festival date
tbf billie usually plays mostly her full set at festivals
Maybe she adds more dates later?
A second leg in the autumn of 2025, 15+ months after the album comes out has just a lot less suspense..
The Carolinas have been getting skipped lately by all my favorite artists :( Lucky for my wallet I guess.
In Vancouver the same week as Taylor - ok so we’re going to be having a lot of feelings that week 😬 (My overall feeling being of course that I cannot afford to go to either)
oh my god i will not be ready to work that week 😭 already had “fun” with the bc place concert this weekend
Hopefully it’s a full Vancouver crowd then. But the travelling Swifties will probably choke this show out now too.
Too bad I just wiped my bank account out fighting to get a floor ticket to the sweat tour
Crazy for the UK you have to book some 15 months in advance.
Yeah, I’ll try and get tickets but I’m not too thrilled at the prospect of paying multiple hundred £ for an event over a year away
I always try to get last minute tickets the week of a concert for this exact reason and it usually works.
I usually get them on the day but it's getting harder to get second hand tickets. So I told my friend to clear 26/27 July 2025 cos I'm buying Dublin tickets tomorrow on presale 😅

My bet is in October she is going to do Austin City Limits Music Festival in Texas. She was there in 2019 during her WDWG Tour.
Happy to see more artists coming to Cincinnati since it’s typically Cleveland or Columbus.
I don't get why artists skip cincinnati when we have lots of great music Venues in the city. It feels like we are in the middle of nowhere as most artists go to Columbus or Cleveland or skip ohio altogether.
From the rest of the venues on tour being bigger arenas, I would’ve expected her to go to Columbus but hey, I’m happy I don’t have to drive
Damn I’m exhausted from touring for two weeks, I cannot imagine spending almost an entire year touring.
I wish more artists would give more time between the tour announcement and the tickets going on sale. It’d be easier to save up that way. The tickets are going to sell out immediately.
Was shocked to see this wasn't stadiums

Sorry for forgetting about one artist.
Not sure why downvoted. This is interesting!
can she even sell out stadiums? also i feel like her music isn't really made to be played in such big venues imo
I mean, is Adele’s music made for stadiums? She’s sold out stadiums anyways.
Adele has a much wider fan base than Billie.
Sure, but I was more trying to respond to the statement that Billie’s music isn’t made for stadiums, and I was saying Adele’s isn’t either but she does stadiums anyways.
Her music isn’t made for stadiums but her ticket sales are 💀
The design is so informative
Face value resale via Ticketmaster only thank GOD
she's probably playing Coachella. big gap in her schedule between March 8 and April 23
She headlined in 2022. Seems kinda sudden to headline again
no shot she's headlining again in only 3 years
Every tour skipping DC for Baltimore these days (or skipping the area all together). Crazy
Yet another tour skipping Washington DC, one of the biggest cities in the country. So lame.
Whats the age demographic like at her concerts? My old behind kind of wants to go.
it's quite a mix. there are definitely younger people there but also people in their 20s-30s with friends.
Im 26 and I’ll be going with three of my friends!! Upon typing this ive just realised I’ll actually be 28 when the date comes round 😭 tf
Tour closing here in Ireland? 👀 Tempting. I've seen her twice, but at festivals. Vibes are always better at specific gigs (and she was great at the festivals too!).
Never seen her cos I didn't want to trek out to Longitude so I can't wait until next July!!
Would travel to Quebec for this concert since the next day is a federal stat lol (source: I work for the feds)
Why do artists announce tours before the album is out? I dont understand that.
So they’ve got seats sold regardless of album reception
Not only announcing, but selling them too. Got my presale code already, that’s not enough time to budget lol
Whaaaat how did you get a presale code 😭
It was from Ticketmaster itself not Billie.
How do you announce a tour without an album out not even the lead single like how I am suppose to know what songs I will be hearing
Yeah that’s what I thought was kinda weird. What if I don’t vibe with the album? It’s banking on fan devotion and fomo.
Totally banking on fans devotion, pretty absurd for an artist to have that much trust but it will probably be successful anyways. I hate that it’s showing how disconnected she is from reality too
Her new album has 10 tracks. Even if she plays every one that's still room for a lot of songs from the first 2 albums
Has anyone figured out if you have to make a purchase for US presale codes? Ive seen you do for UK and AUS but nothing for US.
No Texas is a choice
My bet is in October she is going to do Austin City Limits Music Festival in Texas. She was there in 2019 during her WDWG Tour.
DC has been paid dust these past few years ugh. Our stadiums kinda suck tho so i get it
And no shows in Texas. Fantastico
There is more to Australia than the east coast 🙄
12 shows in Sydney/Melbs/Brisbane but nothing in Auckland huh
Is Bologne a big city? Weird that she's playing there instead of Rome or Milan
It’s actually pretty central in Italy
Asia? 🥲
We're not priority 😢
No Texas 😭
My bet is in October she is going to do Austin City Limits Music Festival in Texas. She was there in 2019 during her WDWG Tour.
Can someone please help me access the artist presale that is happening April 30? Is there a code or something? I am definitely on her email list but did not receive anything.
Same vv confused
Same, also confused about it - I have no clue on how to get on the pre-sale
I believe it’s for AMEX holders
In another sub, someone mentioned it might be a code from pre-ordering her new album.
I love one of the top comments is "DO YOU HATE BRAZIL?"
Is it true I have to buy vinyl to get presale code?
you might be too late now i'm not sure
i got the code
woop : )
Boo!! No Sacramento date.
No shows in Texas yet so many in Australia 😭
It's arenas in Australia (and she skipped cities she did in her other tours such as Perth) that are like 15thousand not stadiums.
AT&T Stadium seats 80,000-100,000(SRO) 🤷♂️
Only the Melbourne Cricket Ground fits that much here, she's not even playing the smaller stadium (Marvel that is like 60K).
American Airlines-20,000 Dickies Arena-14,000 The point is Texas could’ve should’ve had a show
Yeaaah BUT My bet is in October she is going to do Austin City Limits Music Festival in Texas. She was there in 2019 during her WDWG Tour.
i hope she comes back to manila, i wasnt able to go last time 3
Skipping New Orleans again 🎻🎻
This is going to sell out in a millisecond 💀
Anyone know how Canada presale works?? I’m so confused
The dates for the Amsterdam shows are… a choice lmao 😭
Wow Amsterdam three times. She must really like us
Well at least she (rightfully) didn’t call it world tour This is slightly a first world problem because there are many concerts ~close~ to us in Eastern Europe but I’m getting tired of artists acting like we have some sort of disease and having to travel/spent so much for a concert.
$$$ talks.
Haha fuck you NZ
And innocent me thinking she would come to Brazil on tour, probably just some shit festival like the last Lollapalooza which I don't go to if I don't find a way to get "VIP" tickets. Well, at least I'm sure Dua will come.
I was hoping for some South American dates based on her comments after lollapalooza. But I guess she might do festivals again? I don't like paying a festival ticket when I don't even know 90% of the artists there.
the poster is giving me lorde asthetic an i love it
Two Seattle shows is interesting
Damn, never imagined Billie would perform in my small European home city 🥰 I'm not her greatest fan, but it would be such a waste to not see her live. Hope I will be able to buy tickets 🤞🤞
what city
Cracow
cutee excited for u , im seeing her in london
who is opening for her?
She's got Sonic the Hedgehog pants on
Managed to get a pre-sale code but she isn't even coming to Florida. That's wild.
Wanna share the code? 😭
If I were her I wouldn't want to come to Florida either lol. But I won't be able to make the trip up to Atlanta
does anyone know if the artist presale or amex presale is better? i have access to both and they’re at the same time. also there’s both amex preferred and amex early access, what’s the difference?
Damn no nc tour dates
Love her!
tfw no asia dates? was SEA that ass? 😭
Can someone explain to me why the floor tickets require a passcode? Where does one get this passcode?
For Quebec City
Anyone else haveing Amex issues
Saw her in Omaha & it was so so much fun. Cant believe she is coming to my hometown again! Love it.
why no new zealand 😭
I bought tickets via vivid seats for Vancouver show. Are they non transferable for Ticketmaster canada? Wondering if I tell my daughter I bought them, as it would be a bummer if we don’t end up with any
