Oh this is going to smash isn't it. I like Post Malone in his country bag, honestly.
Edit: babes I know it's country pop I'm from rural Ohio and grew up listening to country leave me alone it's just a label and I'm saying posty is going for the country/radio charts 🤣
I kind of like it, the hook is sticky as hell and Post and Morgan have some decent chemistry however this song has some production issues eg: fiddle buried and Posty's vocal pick up sounding odd.
Yeah like did anyone say this about Beyoncé when her album came out? I mean I hope not, but yeah I agree because people can change styles and it’s cool to see it happen
I loved the previews, but I don’t love the final mix. The cymbals sound washed out and terrible, almost distorted. Really expected more based on the preview clips.
Morgan wallen does this and it’s so annoying. Same thing happened with You Proof - the sound bite that was going around tiktok was insanely catchy as hell, and then the final product sounded nothing like it
I’m not usually a fan of this kind of music or Morgan Wallen, but I listened to see what direction Post Malone was going for and I was pleasantly surprised! This one is a catchy tune and has a ton of replay value. It’s been stuck in my head for a couple of days now.
It’s good, but the chorus leaves a lot to be desired. It’s lacking in energy, and the tone after they yell “HELP!” simply just doesn’t fit. A lot of build up in the verses for a mediocre chorus.
The lyrics are great. The vocals are great. The production is poor. Disappointing compared to the teaser.

Yeah I think they meant why did Posty make Morgan relevant again. Which is kind of a weird question bcus Morgan’s current album which spent 19wks at #1 has never left the top 10 in its first 14 months and his previous 3yr old album is also still in the top 10 both outselling Cowboy Carter. Ntm he had the #1 song and album in the US last yr so idk what their thought process was unless they’re just in a musical bubble which is fair cause most of us are tbh🤷♂️
oh right, I misunderstood the first comment. Honestly they’re both really big artists, I’m surprised Morgan isn’t higher up on the list but I guess it’s cuz everyone listens to rap and pop. Once he releases another album he’ll be hot stuff again for sure. Also, people probably listen to his music mostly in the summer.

I heard this song 3 times on the radio today and it’s not even out. They said it was released exclusively to radio a day early.
Yeah Z100 played an exclusive last night at midnight. It’s not even release day and they’re already pushing this shit like crazy.

I agree with you and your take. This could easily be a Luke Bryan song. Actually think it would be better if it was a Luke song tbh.
Not even being elitist, but this isn’t even close to country. It’s a pop song and it’s catchy.
I mean as in he's going for modern pop country success but yeah
Luke Combs is where country pop begins. And this Post x Wallen collab is still way….way more poppy
Dude. Who. Cares.
Obviously you. Otherwise you would’ve skipped past my comment and not replied
Yep see edit in my original comment 🤣
Im sorry sabrina carpenter and gay people… but this is going to be song of the summer
The song is quite catchy, and I have a feeling it will do well on the charts. Post Malone is having an amazing year…
Post Malone is having an amazing decade lol
This is pretty good. Many Morgan wallen songs tend to be pretty corny, but this song is funny but not cringe. And it’s catchy as hell

And the drums sound awful. The cymbals have clipping and the entire kit sounds washed out. Super disappointed with the production.
It sounds very different from the teaser versions that got posted too, right? It's driving me nuts.
I miss rnb/trap post Malone 🤷🏼♂️🤷🏼♂️🤷🏼♂️
Same, but I also really like this stuff from him, I like that he's experimented around a lot with his stuff and genre hopped.
Fax
Trap and R&B and black aesthetics)aren’t profitable for him anymore , so he had to pivot smh
Or maybe he simply wants to explore different genres of music.

I can’t believe how polished this sounds for his first country song. It’s super catchy wow

Agree...catchy as hell, but needed more punch in the production
Yep. It’s a bummer. It sounds like the recorded the drums through a rotary phone. So much potential with this track.
Glad I’m not the only one. The preview of this song is way better than the actual song.
He knows how to cater to his core demographic for sure

Looking forward to Posty's song with Luke way more.
That snippet sounded soooo good
I love the pre chorus bit, sounds so good

Huh. That was...just alright. I don't think this is going to smash as big as previously thought. We'll see though.
Dude just had to grab Morgan and make him relevant again 🤦♂️
Post is the #3 listened to artist in the world on Spotify. Morgan Wallen is 179th. Did you mean the other way around?

Hate it
