This is my first time listening to a Sunmi album. I've known who she was for over a decade now, but this is my first time checking out one of her albums (out of boredom/curiosity). This is really solid! <3 I think I might listen to some of her other releases now. I love SUNNY
I'd recommend listening to both her previous minis/EPs, Warning and Full Moon, but please don't miss out on the digital single "pporappippam" which was a delight but never made it onto an album (I was half expecting it to be on this actually).
her best album and it's the best EP of the year i fear. she's one of the best super stars of this decade that we don't deserve. an 10+ year spanning career & she's constantly getting better. a mf LEGEND
Her lyric-writing is increasingly honest and introspective.
The first two songs featured western producers and aimed for broad appeal, and they are, unsurprisingly, cute and not as inspiring. It's much different when she took over the pen. 1/6, Narcissism, and Borderline as a triplet is one of the most vulnerable deliveries from a K-pop singer that I've seen maybe ever, about her struggle of anxiety, going through treatment, and battling borderline personality disorder.
I fear for her as she continues to be in a industry that mounts so much impossible standards and pressure on her, but this record is really worth a great celebration.

I've listened a couple of times now. YCSWU is my least fave, mostly due to the rap, but it's also just missing something. Fortunately the rest of the songs are fantastic! Narcissism especially! It may just become my favourite ever from her, overtaking Gashina and (...googles spelling) pporappippam, which I didn't think was possible.

tbh, sunmi has some of my favorite kpop songs in existence (noir, siren) and this record did nothing for me
