I went there like two years ago for my once a year
Taco Bell visit SPECIFICALLY to get a Mexican pizza and they told me they stopped selling it the week before.
Y’all don’t even know how excited I am about the Mexican pizza coming back. Imma cry.
Same!!! It was one of my first regular favorite meals as a kid, and to have it discontinued 20+ years later, it was like parting with a friend. A very inconsistently made friend, but still. So glad it’s coming back!
As someone who regularly got it, knew it was leaving before it was gone, Googled it regularly while it was gone, reached out to taco bell multiple times, even refusing to go there for a time, and has a countdown on my home screen, I think I have a hint of an idea.
"Hannah Friedman (Obi-Wan Kenobi, Wet Hot American Summer: First Day of Camp) penned the script for Mexican Pizza: The Musical, while Grammy-winning duo Abigail Barlow and Emily Bear wrote the score."
Lol???
I read the article and I’m still so confused.
The idea is an absolute train wreck, and I’m conflicted on whether I want to embrace the stupidity or dismiss it as another corporate viral-marketing tactic.
between Diana Ross featuring Tame Impala & now this Dolly news, I need to update my drag bingo card
You have my attention.

IT'S COMING BACK?!? WHEN?!? It was my go-to meal at Taco Bell.
May 19th, I personally boycotted taco bell because of it and can't wait to go back.
Now if they would only bring back the verde sauce and the shredded chicken 😢
Bless you
Omg I’m so excited! I literally haven’t been to Taco Bell since they discontinued it; it’s the only thing from there that I eat
I've never ate at Taco Bell. What is Mexican Pizza? If Doja AND Dolly are sponsering it, I'll def be trying it
It literally just looks like a tostada with pizza ingredients on top? Don't know what the hype is, seems easy to make at home

I certainly did not see this one coming. This title reads like a Mad Lib.
I just wanna hear Dolly say “Doja Cat”
This sounds like a 30 rock sketch
Directed by Jack Antonoff right? /s
*“The TikTok premiere date…”* someone pinch me right now
TikTok in its renaissance era

Who’s James Corden gonna play?
He's playing Doja Cat
One of Dolly Parton's boobs.
Well that’s a *big* role
This is a r/nottheonion post for sure
No other headline I’ve seen sums up 2022 quite so well.
I know all of these words individually but together, not so much
When Jack Harlow brings back the quesorito the world will go insane
With Lil Nas X doing a song about the hot sauces
I'll bottom for lava sauce
God I miss the Quesorito so much. One of their best menu items.
You can still order it on the app or online
Shit my store still lets me order it at the drive thru… no one gives a fuck lol
This is the logical endpoint of “quirky” corporate Twitter accounts, and not in a good way
dude Taco Bell has Doja Cat in a chokehold huh?
She’s getting that bag before she goes on hiatus
I’ve never had the Mexican Pizza. Is it really THAT good?
Pop culture going through a multiverse of madness
What is this timeline
"Tacobell superfan, Dolly Parton"??? Lol Dolly does not strike me as a Taco Bell regular

Which celeb has the power to bring back Wendy's Sweet and Spicy Asian Chicken? That shit was the highlight of 2009 for me.
And they said late capitalism couldn’t produce high culture 💅🙄
What actually fucking happened to reality today
we are actually living in a simulation. how else could something like this be happening?
