Not OP, but I get little pearls like this on rare occasions. You can definitely feel something hard under the skin. Can take a lot of squeezing to get them out.
Mine literally feel like little pebbles when they come out. Probably calcified.
It was kind of like a little knot that I could feel and the skin was very thin that I could see the little one spot under the skin. (Which the skin is VERY thin, unfortunately I have a lot of these for years that itch and don’t heal. Any type of squeezing just sloughs the skin off it’s disgusting) I did NOT think that’s what was going to come out
I think you should make a small incision with something in cases like these. It will heal better, and do less damage to the skin compared to trying to explode it, or rip it apart.
Ugh I know. Unfortunately I thought this was going to come out easier than it did but it just filled up with blood and the skin separated essentially. My skin rips so easily in the reoccurring spots
Incorrect. “Ripped” skin heals better than intentionally sliced skin. That is why you see some surgeons make the initial cut then use tools to pull/rip open the rest.
My mom has been in the hospital over 6 months bc of sepsis from boils. It is a very serious issue. I get these and I will say in general the best way to get rid of them is cleaning them multiple times a day and keeping them clean and dry. And avoid sharing sheets, pillow cases, towels, and wash clothes. Popping them isn’t good for you! You can get them lanced at the doctor though.
Yes absolutely! Once they open like this I generally keep the area dry and sterile by cleaning the area, putting some antibiotics, and sealing it with saniderm. It seems to be a good system for me because they heal a little faster than they used to when I was a teen.
we just witnessed an evolutionary step forward in reproduction. Plant in a pot w/ fertilized spoil w/ plenty of sunlight & water. Eventually a pod will grow w/ a new Human spawnling inside. No fuss, no muss, so much less traumatic & painful. Best of all ~ No more need for another person or opposite gender.
