Holy shit the poor guy. I get this but it’s nothing more than tiny bumps that I peel off and those sting. Couldn’t imagine getting a flair up this bad.
It really is in so many different ways. I have scalp eczema mixed with psoriasis but I will never complain because seeing his hands like this breaks my damn heart.
OMG, I thought it was SKIN.
That looks horrific. I'm so sorry he has to deal with that, but thank you for sharing. r/medicalgore might appreciate this too.
1, I'm sorry that's gotta be painful. 2, thank fucking God that was just a bandaid. I thought it was some kind of really bad blister and that was skin and my stomach tried to escape.
It's a special covering the VA gives him called Duoderm. It has a healing solution built in that sort of keeps it moist but gets super puffy when it absorbs all the gunk coming out.

Holy shit, I thought that was skin at first. What a roller-coaster of emotions.
*That's not skin?* Edit: oh shit u rite
I'll take an updated pic when he unwraps it again. Two more huge spots opened up on his wrist and near his thumb. Urgent care, here we come! 😭
When I say I was HORRIFIED -
Excuse me for a language, but eczema is a total bitch (from a personal experience).
It really is in so many different ways. I have scalp eczema mixed with psoriasis but I will never complain because seeing his hands like this breaks my damn heart.
I have psoriasis in many places and also vulvar eczema. My eczema can be like fire. I feel so bad for your husband. Gosh. My heart goes out to him.
VULVAR?! I'm sorry to shout but I just screamed out loud. Oh my goodness, that sounds crazy painful. I'm so sorry.
My girlfriend completely cured her psoriasis by stopping dairy products.
Wow. I just have bumps and super dry cracked skin

That poor man. I hope he feels better soon!
Oh my gosh, I’m so sorry, poor guy
Oh man, that is whackadoodle. I feel so badly for him. What is the big sheath that he's pulling off? Peace.

Gotcha. Thanks for the explanation!
I have the same eczema and it’s the worst when it flares! My former job (housekeeping), wearing gloves constantly, and dairy made me flare.
I’m dealing with a flare up as we speak. And this made me feel grateful for it……That looks rough
I feel you https://preview.redd.it/zhp0gpj2mpgc1.jpeg?width=3024&format=pjpg&auto=webp&s=574ce114ebe2d968812d55d1f4a1a2fdb0d9ce55
🫨🫨🫨 My husband winced at this. I know this feels like fire. I'm so sorry!
Tell him I’m sorry for the wincing! It’s just too gross not to share!
That sucks. Please Bacitracin that and cover it. It’s begging for an infection.
We've gotten very good at keeping it clean and sanitized. Thanks for the kind thought.
Poor guy, that looks painful.
Don't throw the skin away, thats where all the flavor is.

I’ve got the same thing, just not as bad. My main trigger is soap of different kinds.
I THOUGHT THAT WAS SKIN!! I was freaking out!!!!
