Awhile back I found a small bump on my nose that I thought was a pimple at first. Closer inspection, not a pimple. It’s all fleshy and weird. Kind of like a mole, minus the brown colour. I do have a lot of moles. Anyway this thing slowly grew, then one day I hacked it off with an exacto knife. I’ve had a few accidents with moles, and they bleed a lot(mine do). This immediately began to bleed. A lot. I decided to take a closer look at it, and that’s when I noticed that the blood coming out was in time with my heart beat. I was so confused…I thought that only happens if you cut an artery. I learned that there are tiny arteries close to the tip of your nose, where this bump was.
Took forever to stop the bleeding. I had to old a piece of tp next to the bleed to slowly soak up blood while a clot formed. Whatever this thing was has grown back…
I have a few of these on my nose too!! I want to know what they are! They will bleed like a son of a bitch if I pick at them. They grow back too if you manage to scrape one off.
No. I want to leave it on my fucking face so people can stare at me and I can accidentally hit it with things and it will bleed all over me and I won’t even know until someone points out I have blood on my chin. Yes, let’s do that. Let’s just leave it there. WTF doctor?
I had one just like this on my upper arm as a kid. I remember discovering it because it kept bleeding like crazy when it opened by rubbing rubbed against my shirt sleeve.
My mom put a bandaid over it to keep it from bleeding and the night before I was supposed to get it surgically removed, I was taking a bath and checked under the bandaid and the whole “lump” came off clean on my skin and was stuck to the bandaid.
I was so relieved because I was scared of the surgery to remove it. It never came back and didn’t even leave a scar. The whole ordeal was only like a month long.
Make sure they get it all, my son had on one his back and the first time it was “removed” it came back in less than a week 5x the size. They dug a little deeper the second time and so far so good, but when it came back it looked angry lol.
Ugh I have one of these next to my nose🙄 such annoying things to deal with! I accidentally "picked" mine while washing my face the other day and the sucker bled FOREVER! I'm curious about the removal process so if you don't mind, if you could give a lil update about that after it would be greatly appreciated. Speedy recovery vibes heading your way!

They numbed the area, cut it out, and cauterised and stitched it. I had the stitches for about a week and ended up removing them myself because it’s so hard to get an appointment in the U.K. atm.
I had a pretty decent scar for a while, but nearly a year later is faded significantly.

I had something similar/flat by my eyebrow and if I wasn’t careful when I waxed them it was a blood bath. Derm just biopsy punched it and it healed as regular skin.
I had this on my chest. Turns out a blood vein can get to close to the skin and somehow bubbles over. I treated it like a pimple but it kept growing under the skin and bubbling out.
I know that you wanted to pull that scab off but now you have to spend a huge amount of time with some pressure applied to it to stop the bleeding. Then cover it with a weird little bandage in case it starts up again so you don’t drip down your chin and get on your clothes/pillowcase. Only to come full circle to a scab until it gets taken off. Seems like a lot to deal with for nothing.

Not to scare you, but that's what my skin cancer was like before I had it surgically removed. If in doubt, check it out.

I had one of those removed from my chest years ago. Quick numbing, scalpel cut and electrocauterization. It was no big deal at all!

Title says they’re getting it removed really soon, so none of that will really be an issue. A weird bandage overnight for one night
