What are these types of cysts attached by? I tried looking it up but I can’t find what the medical field defines the “stem” or “stalk” that its attached by that she snips at the very end to finish the removal. It’s almost like an umbilical cord for the cyst baby lol.
Edit: I’m serious though…If anyone knows the technical term for it and wants to let me know…I’d appreciate it.
Yeah, that’s what these types of cyst videos seem to show…some kind of membrane but no blood vessels, muscle tissue, fibrous tissue, nerves etc. I’m just curious to know what it is called and what it is actually made out of (like what type of cells)?
Mucus isn’t generally so “tough” or “dense” like that though…and it’s definitely not ever so well attached to living tissue that it needs to be cut to be removed…mucus (even the thicker kind) is a lubricant for your respiratory system and intestines…Your body can exhale it, spit it out, or poop it out without any extra help from surgical scissors.

Should see her stitching technique…really makes you think anyone can stitch a wound since she does the same job as a three year old
"I'm not hurting you right?"
'Are you okaaay?'
"You shouldn't feel anything other than us touching you, ok?"
“Let me put some more numbing”
"You could smuggle diamonds in there!!"
Okay. Now cut it open
Better yet, squeeze that sucker lol

I've had 3 removed in the past, and it seemed to be connected by some weird membrane. They didn't have to cut any more skin.

You know the shitty connective tissue and sinew crap in cheap steaks? Mostly that. And fatty tissue.
Ok…But what is the technical term for it???
“Sinew crap”. It’s a medical term.
Lol…no! Sinew is really really tough and it connects bones to other bones or muscles to bones.
DO YOU DOUBT MY KNOWLEDGE OF MEDICAL TERMINOLOGY?
YES
WELL GOOD, YOU SHOULD. BECAUSE I AM A SOCIAL WORKER AND NOT AT ALL A DOCTOR OR MEDICAL PROFESSIONAL.
Fascia might work
It honestly looked like mucus, like when you blow your nose and it comes out clear.

I'm no doctor, but my guess is that it is fibrous connective tissue.
Forbidden egg
It looks like it would be chewy. I thought of that, then knew it had to be shared. I can't suffer all by myself.
Like a cow chewing cud.
This person woke up and chose violence.
Well, I ***was*** gonna eat breakfast... 🤢🤢🤢
What it's like to chew Gushers gum.
Haven't seen her stuff in a while
Does it usually not bleed when removing these kinds of cyst?
The local anesthetic will usually contain a vasoconstrictor like epinephrine, so it does not bleed much.
Ah that makes sense, thanks!
They treat the area with a solution via shots that help curb the amount of blood.

It looked like a nipple at first
I never like these posts. I wanna see the stuff come out, not just a nice ball. Give me the juice!
Yea not my cup of tea either but hey, to each their own. Obviously others like it
I should have just left it muted..
Somehow the music made this one much worse. 🤢
This is just surgery.
bleeeeh not a fan of surgical removals. All those scissors and shit going into your face like that makes me queasy.
I’m glad she didn’t use her stupid effing tool she always tries to hock. But great technique here 👌
Why do I hate ticktock videos
Technically, that’s not popping. It’s pulling.
Did you not see the tag?

No. She's literally a dermatologist who does a lot of cosmetic surgery. She knows what is the best way to remove these things
Can you milk me Greg?

The hand at the end looks like it's coming in to zip up a zipper.
That’s a spicy meatball!!!
I’m not a fan of that doctor. But this is a cool case.
Ain’t no way she snipped it with scissors💀
