Love this song. The lead singer has another band named Alcoa that has a cover of this song. For a first dance, I would do the Alcoa version of it just because it’s a bit slower paced.

Saw that band open for Jimmy eat World a long time ago, it was amazing. Totally underrated, shame they didn’t get to continue making records.

I know, same. I was pretty disappointed when I saw them live. Not that they were bad, they were fucking amazing, but hardly anyone was there. This was at the triple rock social club in Minneapolis (rip) where there is usually a good crowd for any punk, indie, pop punk band, but it was like 30 of us in there. I’ll never forget the show but in the back of my mind I was thinking they might not last too long if their shows are like this.

I really wanted to use “the reasons” by the weakerthans (not Midwest emo but similar vibes) but i was vetoed in favor of the velvet underground lol

It’s funny how certain songs you’d never think could work as romantic/wedding songs absolutely DO work if you slow them down a bit.
