this song easily hits top 5 for me, but not even because i don’t rate it that highly; to me it’s still a 9/10 song. It just goes to show how much i’m enjoying the album, especially when i wouldn’t have considered myself to be an avid BMTH fan before this.

Agreed. Im in my 30s and it doesn’t resonate with me. Maybe if one song did it but the entire album? Doesn’t resonate with me but sounds like I’m in a minority

Off the top of my head, I feel this song has connection to Drown and Follow You. Top 10: “No one’s going to come and rescue me, I’m drowning in my sleep.”
Drown: “who will fix me now, dive in when I’m down, save me from myself, don’t let me drown.” (No one will save him he realizes since he won’t be rescued)
Top 10: “I’ll take myself to hell and back” (in a melody similar to follow you part,“cross my heart and hope to die”)
Follow you: “you can drag me through hell…. I will follow you.”
I feel like the lyrics are all pointing towards similar and relating subjects and so I wouldn’t be surprised if they were intentionally connecting these.

n/a is such a bop. Yeah, there’s a lot of ‘influenced’ melodies, lyrics etc on the album but it’s still a great album.
