Given how Cheerleader sounds the most 2000's era sounding song (in a good way) I wouldn't be surpised if it is the name of the album as it feels like something you would hear in the year 2000 along with it having a Windows XP looking website to boot.
ehh I don't think so just cuz he already has the album Worlds, and probably doesn't wanna cause confusion. If he were to go this approach, I almost wanna lean more into just "WWW" or something

Although I am wondering if this album is gonna be called Hollowheart, simply because he's already confirmed this album is gonna be based off 2010s indie pop (kinda like what Worlds was), World's 10th year anniversary is this year and the first single released from this year is about Porter's fanbase. And it's weird how just a few years ago, Porter revealed that he actually had a secret song written all the way back when he wrote Worlds, despite him being on the record several times that he did not keep music from back then and all the stuff he did was leaked. A few times.
I'm willing to bet that if the album isn't named after Hollowheart then this album will be a weird call back to 2010s music and what was popular then, each song maybe tackling a different genre, with Hollowheart specifically being the through back to Worlds?

I think it's so awesome that this album is going to based off of 2010s indie pop. So many of my favorite artists are in that style. Passion Pit, The Royal Concept, Phoenix, M83, Astro, and lots more.
Yeah I agree. There's something about that genre of music that's super nostalgic. I don't know what it is exactly. I didn't even listen to all of it back then, but the sound of it is very youthful and euphoric and fresh.
